Our Creekside Cabin is located on the Wildcat Creek about 15 minutes from Lafayette and 10 minutes to either Delphi or Rossville. This cabin was originally built on our farm as an alternative to camping on the ground in a tent. While we don’t consider this to be “glamping,” it is certainly a step above “primitive.” Cabin features:  12’x12’ of living space  4’x12’ covered porch  Limited supply of off-grid electricity  Kitchen counter with running cold water (Mar-Oct only)  Toilet (Mar-Oct only)  Mr. Buddy propane heater (use at your own risk)  Window fan  A fold-down style futon  Two “bunks” Site features:  Gorgeous view of and access to the Wildcat Creek  Fire pit  Camp chairs  Hammock  Porch-style swing overlooking the creek Property features:  Access to wading, fishing, tubing, kayaking or canoeing on the Wildcat Creek  Fishing pond stocked with bass and bluegill  Nearly 100 acres and three miles of trails for walking, hiking, and exploring Ask about pricing for the following:  Kayaks  Float tubes  Fishing equipment  Firewood Our goal is to provide a relaxing and peaceful getaway for those that enjoy all that nature has to offer in Indiana with a few creature comforts beyond primitive tent camping. Creekside Cabin

Sherry and Troy were the absolute BEST, I came in late and they were super accommodating, their son drove me back to the cabin and was very kind and respectful. It rained hard through the night and was very muddy in the morning.. My car got stuck on my way out and Troy towed me back to their house and gave my car a wash. Truly the sweetest people ever! I would 1000% recommend this gorgeous spot for anyone looking for a getaway or just somewhere to sleep!

Cozy Escape to Nature

My husband and I wanted to escape to nature this New Years, and this cozy cabin was exactly what we needed. It was a quick 2 hour drive from Chicago, and our hosts were extremely accommodating - from our confusion about the time difference from Chicago (+1 hour), to meeting us and showing us around the property, to bringing extra water to flush the toilet (since running water is available May-Oct), and checking in to make sure we were warm enough. The propane heater kept us at a comfortable 65 degrees at night, even though the outside temperature was in the low 30s. We had plenty of firewood, and there was no street noise so we were able to be present in nature. Our dog enjoyed having room to roam and explore, and we all had fun walking the private trails. We will definitely be back for some fishing, kayaking, etc. when the weather warms up!

This was a great spot! Great amenities but very secluded and private. We will definitely be coming back with our kiddos.

we loved the location so much! beautiful river. the cabin was perfect. had a working toilet, running water and electricity. hammock and swing was a nice touch. walking around the creek was fun. my dog loved it too!
