I strongly advise against booking this property due to significant misrepresentation, lack of basic amenities, and unsafe conditions.
We had to leave after our first night, as it was untenable.
Major Issues -
Power & Water Failures: We were only informed on arrival that we had to turn on the power ourselves. It was complicated, a cable even caught fire, and major amenities still didn’t work, including the fridge, multiple lights, and water.
No Running Water: Despite booking a cabin for the bathroom, we had no working toilet or shower. The outdoor shower was overgrown and filthy.
False Advertising -
The listing included:
(1) A hot shower (there wasn’t one in the condo as disclosed).
(2) A fridge (it didn’t work, replaced by a chilly bin with no ice).
(3) WiFi (barely functional).
(4) Proper lighting (several lights didn’t work, including in the bedroom).
Poor Maintenance & Cleanliness -
The property was rundown, dirty, had holes in the walls, a broken door seal, and curtains that didn’t fully close which provided difficulty with cooling the space and preventing light in the morning.
Unfair Post-Booking Requirements -
We were forced to sign a waiver upon the day of arrival, and adhere to many conditions/limitations and told to pretend we worked there—completely unethical.
Violation of Hipcamp’s Standards -
This listing fails to meet basic safety and honesty standards. After no proper response or refund, we feel obligated to warn others and urge Hipcamp to take action.

The site was not true to the original description and the communication was poorly handled.
Something was strange, because we don't think we should have to lie to the neighbors saying that we are farmers when we are guests.
The site does not look like the pictures, there is no view, it is not clean and it is smelly.
We thought it was not worth the money they are asking for.

It is exactly as described. Remember it is a tent so gets a lil warm in the daytime but this wasn’t a problem because we were always doing something during the day. The bed is very comfortable and the outdoor shower is relaxing a bit cold at night lol but nice! Overall I give it 10/10 because it was exactly what we were looking for.

This place was great, very off grid but close enough to town. It was a nice set up. Propane tank was empty so I didn’t have warm water but it wasn’t bad. BEAUTIFUL for sure.

Gorgeous Off Grid Glamping in NS!
We spent five nights at this off-grid glampsite, and felt the internal shift we were hoping for. Way up a country road and surrounded by nature, it was truly a transcendent experience. Even for two senior adults, the accommodations worked well. The bed is very comfortable, and the outdoor shower is practically life-changing. Our host was very responsive and helpful, and really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. We would absolutely stay here again, ten times out of ten.

Gorgeous Off Grid Glamping in NS!
He had a blast with the Van experience! We are avid campers, but it was our first time on a Van.
The host were great; giving us tips around the island, local gatherings happening and helping out with the Van check out ate the airport (so we didn't miss our flight - we lost quite sometime looking for a Diesel gas station, be sure to know before hand were you would find it).
Matterss and sheets were clean and smelling good. Solar system worked 100%.
Just too much sand laying around, I believe that due to the high season, there were not enough time to give it a proper cleaning in between guests... we gave it a treat, and we got a refund.
We stayed 6 days with the van, and only had to deal with the sink water once, which is great.
Fridge and fan were good and stove is more than enough.
Thing I would improve in the van:
Metal that holds the curtains looks like it's been broken for quite sometime, easy to fix;
on a limited space, we didn't need to have a gallon of liquid soup for the dishes, plus a small container filled one, just the small is fine;
the same goes for anything that is doubled - besides cookware;
I would adapt a small foldable bench by the bed... it would improve the indoor experience;
Adding some magnets al the ceiling to hold the cabinet doors open, would help.
For sure I would come back and do it all again.

Gorgeous Off Grid Glamping in NS!
This was one of the most unique accomodations I have ever had. The drive averaged about 6-7 minutes to be in the beautiful Haleiwa town, and the views from the campsite were incredible. The tent was super spacious and fully water proof (rained heavily one night). Max did a great job communicating with tips on how to navigate to this super remote campsite. If you are looking for a way to get out of the hustle of Waikiki, this is for you. BRING BUG SPRAY.

A camping experience that exceeded what we were hoping for. The views were amazing. The setup was great for relaxing. We would camp here again in a heart beat. Max was great to work with.

Gorgeous Off Grid Glamping in NS!
Please do not book this location. We reached this location as per the initial instructions(couple of Google pins) sent by the host. Once we reached the pin sent by the host, there was nothing there. We then called the host and he sent another pin which was another 5 miles inside and 15mins drive. This was a red flag since it was a very remote location. We drove almost all the way but it did not seem safe in anyway and returned. Please note this is a very remote location(like farmland) with absolutely noone around. Also this is 25mins from town, now 5 mins like mentioned in the listing. The host didnt even call or email to check on us to see if we reached the location or not. Also we were asked to sign a waiver saying we should agree we are farmers working for some "john" in this location(another red flag) but at the time we didn't realize until we got to the location. I wouldn't recommend anyone to book this property. They didn't refund the amount to us, we reported to hipcamp as well.

Haleiwa RV Parking-5 min from town
You should not go to this place unless you drive a 4x4. It took us 3 hours to get our campervan/RV out of the mud and grabel.

Gorgeous Off Grid Glamping in NS!
This was a wonderful experience and a great way to kick off my vacation. Beautiful surrounding scenery. The tent was extremely tidy and comfortable. Loved the hot water & shower setup. Thank you so much!

I parked my camper van at the “glamping” site and it was my favorite place to stay in Hawaii! The outdoor shower (heated) worked well and the location is super convenient! Awesome sunsets and a quiet paradise.
