Camping at Blaze’s site was an awesome experience. We 100% recommend his place and would love to come stay here again. The bathroom was clean, the campsite was super cozy, the dogs were so friendly and loving, the pool and hot tub area was incredibly relaxing, and the viewpoint on the cliff overlooking the water was absolutely breathtaking.
We had some issues with our rooftop tent camper that we rented through a separate company. Let me be clear, the camper that we rented is in no way associated with Blaze and his property. We booked the camper through a separate company which unfortunately did not provide the service we were hoping for, to say the least. However, Blaze’s brother, Shawn helped us in every way he could to alleviate some of the issues that arose from that experience. We are beyond grateful for his help.
Our experience with Blaze’s campsite was absolutely wonderful. We wished we could’ve stayed longer, but we look forward to coming back. If you want a great place to camp on Big Island, look no further.

It was a great place to spend the night in our camper. The kids loved the pool and the hot tub was nice as it was windy and chilly. Shawn was helpful and we enjoyed fresh bananas, grapefruit and lemons grown on the property.

We had a great time at Blaze's Hipcamp!! The property is beautiful! We really enjoyed sitting along the cliff and watching the waves, the warm shower, flushing toilet, and the hot tub. We we were originally booked for one night, but added a second when our plans changed, and we were so glad did. Highly recommend and we hope to return if we are ever back on the island.

Since the beaches all closed from the storm this was a nice retreat. The land was beautiful & well kept. We enjoyed staying in the van. Beautiful pool and view for watching whales.
The bathroom was clean, but they were inside the house. It felt wierd going in there with dogs. But the dogs & everyone were friendly.
I will recommend to our friends & return.

Incredible property. Blaze and Shawn were great, giving us a tour of the property. Really enjoyed our time here. It was amazing to have the pool, hot tub, ocean views and indoor bath and shower while camping. I wish the weather could have been better but it was a 5 star location and host.

We had a great stay!! Blaze was an excellent host and the land was beautiful and well kept! The shower and bathroom were clean and well tended to. We had a lovely morning watching the waves from the overlook and a relaxing evening by the pool and in the hot tub watching the sunset. Would stay again!

Absolutely, my favorite place to stay stunning! Bathroom was super clean and huge hot shower was perfect! The pool and hot tub was a bonus on our camper van trip!! The jaunt down to the cliffs edge was spectacular!! Over all picture perfect place!! Wow a wedding here would be dreamy!!

Fantastic stay at Wild Blue Waters

This camping location was purely ideal. The large grassy area for camping was very private and spread out. We could not see the one additional camper and it was amazingly quiet. Weirdly there were no chickens during our stay.
The short walk to the lava cliffs led us to 2 chairs and the most amazing view of the blue waters and crashing waves! What an oasis you have created here! Better than the photos!!!
The host and hostess were great! They met us upon arrival and gave us info on where to park and how to use the jacuzzi! There was a spacious shower with plenty of hot water.
The friendly dogs provided us a doggie fix we needed as we have been away from our pooch for a month.
We highly recommend Wild Blue Waters! Thank you so much! Aloha and we will definitely visit again 🙏🏼

Could not reccomend Blaze’s land enough. It was even more stunning than pictures could do it justice. The pups were sweet and welcoming and you can’t beat the views. We will definitely be staying here again and already can’t wait to come back!

Like the other reviews say, this is a great spot to camp. The yard is super well kept, flat site, full bathroom access. It poured while we were there which made the hot tub a nice treat. View of the waves crashing is amazing. It's quiet and peaceful. Host was happy to share his knowledge about the botanicals, fruit trees and land. Can pick ripe fruit and dogs are friendly.

We got in late and had to leave early, but the facilities we used (shower, bathroom) were wonderful. The groundskeeper was very kind and helpful, and the property is well attended to. Directions were well written. Would absolutely stay here again and get to enjoy it for longer.

We had a great time here, especially enjoying the hot tub and campfires we made. With the loss of Isaac Hale campground there aren’t many options for public campgrounds anywhere nearby so this hipcamp was a great option for touring around the 2018 lava flows and Puna area beaches. The directions were easy to follow and the potholes in the access road easy enough to navigate in any car. Campsites flat but soil in this area is lava rock under the grass so tent pegs a bit hard to get in. Only one bathroom could be a problem at times but it worked out ok. We would recommend and return again.

This is such a beautiful and calm place. The bathroom is in the middle of the campground. You have a nice view to all of the plants and you can hear the ocean. Shawn welcomed us directly when we arrived. He has 5 dogs but they are very friendly.

GREAT STAY! Shawn is a great host, attentive & friendly! We loved having fresh coconut delivered everyday & the scenery was paradise! The location is great, central to lots of different sights to see! We explored the volcanoes, sea view was a really cool drive, Hilo nearby waterfalls. There was never a shortage of things to do! The nearby Sunday Maku’u market was HUGE!
This was such a nice place to come home to every night & enjoy a campfire & star gazing.
Also- nice bathrooms!

Beautiful piece of property, I would highly recommend staying here. I would definitely stay here again!
Blaiz brother Sean is very accommodating We came in late he made sure to get a settled. He was accommodating to our little dogs.
Beautifully landscaped oceanfront with a saltwater pool in jacuzzi.
Clean, well kept. They also accommodated the fact that we had to reschedule due to business related circumstances.
The best hip camp I have ever stayed on.

I can’t say enough about this little piece of heaven, it is absolutely stunning, breathtaking. Blaze and Shawn were very friendly and quick to answer any questions. The bathroom facilities were clean uncomfortable, better than expected when camping. The fruit trees are beautiful, no need to buy limes for our cocktails as they were growing beside us! They have several dogs who run the property and are friendly. Our first night there we saw whales and turtles off the cliffs! Beautiful pool, relaxing atmosphere, quiet, serene, MAGICAL❤️

This was our favorite hipcamp on the big island and Acacia was a wonderful host and even learned our names. Also the kitties were so much fun especially Mr. Cuddles who visited us often at Cabana 3.

My kids and I have been wanting to camp here for a while and finally had the chance to. Very accessible and easy to get to. Beautiful, well taken care of land. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. Also, owner responded to messages quickly. Would definitely stay again. 10/10 recommend.

We really enjoyed this spot and it worked great for our travels around this side of the island. Having access to the pool/hot tub, flushing toilet/shower, and the amazing cliff side view made this a top notch spot for us. We stayed in our camper van which worked great for the area we were given. Loved the pups and their greeting each time. We didn't see much of other guests or the hosts which was fine by us. If you wanted to, I am sure you could engage more but we really just cooked dinner and slept at this spot and didn't spend much of our days there so not a lot of opportunity to interact. We didn't ever use the potable water on the site so can't comment on that and we didn't connect to the wifi. Otherwise, the only other comment is that our van did fine on the road in as long as we drove slow but a truck had slid off and gotten stuck one evening in the rain. So be sure to take it slow and stay on the middle of the road as much as possible I guess.

The space as great! It had a wonderful view with very level and soft ground for our tents. The indoor bathroom was awesome. However my advice would be to bring your own water, it had a bit of a tangy taste was totally fine to drink. Highly, highly recommend!

Wild Blue Waters is a gem! The campsite was super clean and well-maintained. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. They even checked our tents during a rainstorm while we were out exploring Hilo to make sure nothing was getting wet. That thoughtfulness and care meant so much to us!
The hot tub was absolutely beautiful and the perfect way to relax after long days of adventuring. Amazing place with genuine hospitality. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
