A Peaceful and Private Campground
I’m a Hawaiʻi resident of five years and have camped at Nature Spaces several times, using my truck-bed tent as well as two different ground tents. Mountainside Campsite #1 has a spectacular view of the mountain and is quiet and peaceful, with plenty of space and privacy from other campers.
The campground is well maintained, and there’s just enough ambient solar lighting at night to create a peaceful atmosphere without taking away from the natural setting. The compost toilet is clean and odor-free. There’s also a private shower with hot water that still allows you to enjoy a beautiful view of nature while showering.
The location is especially convenient because it’s near several beach parks, making it easy to explore different beaches without using a lot of gas or spending much of the day driving around or back and forth. On sunny days, I’ve also had plenty of sunlight at my campsite to use my solar panel to recharge my battery banks.
The property is gated and has security cameras, which provides some extra peace of mind. Overall, it’s a beautiful, peaceful, quiet, and thoughtfully maintained place to camp on Oʻahu.
