Thanktuary Meadow Campsite
Was excellent. Quiet, plenty of space (though it didn’t hurt that we had the whole place to ourselves). Hit water, flushable toilets, hot showers, nice big sink to wash dishes. Very convenient, clean. We were in the Meadow campsite. 10 minutes to the ocean. Gualala a cool seaside town.

We had the meadow and the hot tub all to ourselves. Veena’s directions and communication were great. We stayed on a rainy night and had to move out of the meadow to avoid getting stuck in mud. We found a dry spot to park up top. Only stayed 1 night. Very quiet and clean.

Perfect quiet retreat. We were the only campers, though there are a few camp sites. The place was quiet and perfect for what we were looking for. The cedar hot tub was beautiful and relaxing, so nice to have a hot shower afterwards as well. Plenty of space to enjoy ourselves and a quick drive to the beach, shops, coffee, etc. Thank you!

Thanktuary Meadow Campsite
Veena’s land truly was a respite on our camping trip on the Sonoma Coast. If you’re not into campfires (as we are not since the West’s firestorms became commonplace) and need a peaceful place to park your van or RV for a night or more, Thankuary may be just the ticket. Great bathhouse, with clean toilets and showers and private hot tub. We appreciated the night-sky views and birdsong (including owl calls) and quiet.

We camped here over Labor Day weekend. We booked two nights. The first night was nice, the space was clean, the bath house was clean and useful, we used the sink to do our dishes. Second night however wasn't so enjoyable: They overbooked the camp area to 4 separate reservations in the camping lot and 1 RV spot. We asked kindly for a little bit of a refund since the area was overbooked and they said they would look into it. They never responded after that and didn't acknowledge their error, which made us not want to return in the future. For $56 it was not as advertised. It felt very crowded and we had to accommodate to move cars, allow a tent to go right next to ours. Luckily, everyone camping was friendly or it would have been more challenging.

This site offers a wide range of options… houses, cottages, rv and tent camping. Great location minutes from CA-1 and Guala. There is a modern bathroom/shower cabin attached to a deck w nice hot tub. Definitely the most upscale roughing it stay I have done.

Absolutely wonderful, quiet, idyllic, and relaxing oasis from city life. Very private, very quiet, surrounded by redwoods, fantastic cedar hot tub. Would absolutely come again.

Veena's land is just far enough away from the coast, that you might get lucky and be out of the fog with incredible star watching! The hot tub was a real treat, the bathroom very clean. Much appreciated!

Great showers & flush toilets-note they are uphill from camp area. We camped during hot days in July & left to go to coast each day, after long drive to get there, because we thought we'd relax & swim in stream, never saw stream & no 1 around to ask. Thought we'd go in Redwood hot tub, it was too dirty, until last 2 days, when 2 young workers cleaned it. Then it was warm, never hot. The photos showed put put golf, etc & they must've been taken some time ago. Paid $60 & felt too high of a price, booked at another campsite for next year.

Veena and Dave have a beautiful property and we’re very helpful with everything. We spent nights at our tent star gazing and days on the river just minutes away by car. All the wildlife was a plus. The bathhouse was a great after a long day. We look forward to our next visit

This was such an adorable and memorable little gem in the forest! David and Veena are absolutely lovely people and the property is so unique. We stayed in the Treehouse- which was perfect for my 8-year old son and me and our 80lb GoldenDoodle. We are in SF and did a spontaneous, last minute road trip leaving Saturday morning and taking our time up the coast until making Veena's cedar hot tub under the stars our final destination "prize." We stopped at Brewsters Beer Garden in Petaluma for lunch, Valley Cheese Co. for samples, the Children's Bell Tower in Bodega Bay and some of the incredible beaches along route 1 to run around. On our way back we checked out the Sea Ranch Chapel, Stillwater Cove, grabbed lunch at Fishetarian in Bodega Bay and got ice cream in Point Reyes. This was a VERY memorable trip that scratched all the nature-loving, adventure itches there can be!

Thanktuary Retreat Serene Treehouse
We loved our three nights at Thanktuary, especially the cedar soaking tub! The bed is small if you are not used to a double, but we brought a camping pad just in case (which our dog dominated; she's spoiled). It is right next to the main house, but the hosts are great and gave us privacy, and brought a step stool over so I could get into the bed more easily. The property is peaceful and relaxing and there is such a great vibe. We will definitely be back.

Nice and level camping spot. Easy directions. Had one bar of LTE with AT&T coming in and out, so the wifi was handy to look up directions and info for our day. Really enjoyed stargazing from the hot tub!

We enjoyed this little place so much. The place is comfortable and nestled in the woods with great views. The bed was a little small but we're used to a king at home but it was comfortable. We loved the cedar tub it was so relaxing. Bathroom, shower and tree house were all clean. I had read a bad review right before we visited so my expectations were low. It was an anniversary get away and we just wanted to embrace the woods and the coast. The tree house is just off the main house but the owners gave us out space. We only seen them when we arrived. The light outside the tree house can be turned off with a switch so that was an easy fix. Sitting in the cedar tub under the stars was incredible. It was so quite we couldn't believe it. For the price your paying you are definitely getting your money's worth. I will return next time I'm in the area. Thank you for sharing your space with us.
