This treehouse is a splurge but also really unique architecture in a peaceful setting. The views from the treehouse are great. We saw turkey and deer wandering around. It's ~15min drive down beautiful Highway 1 from great food recommendations from the Host. The space includes both the treehouse with the bed and a separate cabin at the bottom that has the kitchen and bathroom. The Host was quick to respond and accommodating to make our trip work!

MAGICAL Retreat!!

Matt & Ali are exceptional Hosts. Matt made sure everything was taken care of from beginning to end. Matt went above & beyond as a host. Meet & greet with Cres was very helpful & friendly. Valley views are truly breathtaking. LOVE the treehouse & cabin!! Amazing even in rain & fog. Just MAGICAL sunrises & sunsets!! Property is beautifully laid out. Very private. Tons of character & fascinating history. A must & totally worth every penny!! Definitely heavenly!!

Camping in a Magical Treehouse

I loved Matt's treehouse in Halfmoon Bay. I've never experienced a cabin or nature like this before, and it was truly such a dream. My partner and I celebrated our engagement together and it was intimate, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could have wanted. It dig get very dark at night, and thankfully a flashlight was provided as well as the cabin itself has lighting all around the premises. If you're not used to being out in nature at night, it can get scary, but not to worry, I felt very safe the entire stay. The treehouse and the cabin below both have built in bluetooth speaker systems to jam out to your own playlist, wifi was great, and the hot tub was absolutely perfect to relax in. Matt and Cres provided Rose and basalts for the tub. THANK YOU!

Best Treehouse in the Bay Area

Matt and Ali took great care of us! Upon arriving there's a short drive on a gravel road. You'll be surprised as to how big the treehouse is in person compared to the photos when you pull up. There is a cozy cabin on the property with a full kitchen, cookware, a nice stereo system, comfy couches, and a fireplace. The Treehouse is where you sleep and enjoy your friend’s company. There's a large bed inside with panorama windows. The outdoor bathtub was amazing, it takes a little while to fill up but definitely worth the wait :) Overall, the property is a 10/10. You cannot take a bad photo here.

My wife and I deeply appreciated the magical treehouse experience. The attention to detail in construction as well as the provided amenities were fantastic and we are pretty particular! :) There were fields of blue flowers and calla lilys blooming. The weather there was amazing. We only stayed for one night but we were very happy to light a fire in the stove, soak in the out door tub, have a glass of tea and just stare out the windows. The hosts were a great balance of attentive while providing space and privacy. Definitely recommended.
