Beautiful space with lots of nice amenities. Very easy and responsive communication. Would happily stay again to enjoy a night out under the stars. Perfect for our 1-night stay to cook up a nice lil meal by the fire-pit and see some shooting stars in the clear sky.
For nature lovers
I love camping in secluded areas. This place is well maintained but still very wild, fishing was great, my wife, daughter and dog had a lovely time.
No campers, loud music or boats here. Clean bathrooms as well.
The whole trip was amazing. It’s beautiful, private and the bathroom/showers were very nice. We would probably not book the Levvee sight because of no shade - but we knew going in that there wasn’t shade - we didn’t expect 90 degree weather. We actually were allowed to switch campsites with no charge. We are planning to return in the fall.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed a two night stay at MHP. We loved the trails especially look out point #1 (pack in a lunch and eat with a great view). We had a great experience with staff and also like the addition of the fire ring at the levee site. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will return soon.
