First off, this campsite really does exist. I booked it and was able to sleep there.
The hostess is kind and helpful. She made sure we had all our provided supplies and plenty of water to drink in the 90 degree heat. They even came over and offered to let us bunker down in their basement if the tornado sirens went off. Thankfully, they didn’t.
You’re getting what your booking.

Spacious and fairly private spot. Lots of soft grass if tent camping. Lovely, hospitable host.

Quiet location with a peaceful setting. I would probably go in the spring or fall. Lisa was kind, helpful, and accommodating. Great for passing through town or a place to take the kids for a quick weekend getaway from St. Louis.

Have no review for the space as I did not get the opportunity to stay. Date confusion on my part had me arriving 1 day too early. Host agreed to allow me to stay on the following day-- my textx to her indicated an error-- so that was very understanding.
However-- and this is the BIG however. When I arrived, I had no address. I pulled into the driveway that seemed correct. I messaged the host several times, waited in my car as I could not identify where to go.
Cars were parked by the house. A dog was out, but no answer. I waited for 30 minutes. Finally left because I was unsure what the deal was.
Luckily found an alternative. No refund.

We were not given an exact address before arrival and arrived in a suburban area with a vague description of the location. We were too uncomfortable with the vagueness to set up camp. We did not stay.

Lisa has everything you would need if you are prepared to camp. Open space and campfire area in an area where there is not much tent camping immediately available. She is very welcoming and was able to accommodate us on (very) short notice. Would definitely recommend.

Lisa was very nice and the camp was delightful. The grass field was nicely mowed, it was level, and very clean. There are ample options for restaurants and shopping in the area as well.

There was plenty of space to set up camp. Lisa was extremely friendly and directions were easy to follow.
The site itself has many options but is a bit limited by the slope.

Lisa was so welcoming and helpful. Everything was set up for us to tent camp! And I just have to say conversation with her and her kindness literally made our summer after a very tough year for us. Her property is a haven and it blesses people that she shares it. Anyone who stays, give her the same kindness in return. She’s a gem.

Lisa and her property are great. She met us upon arrival and was so ready to help. She helped us unload, held our children, and took the time to show us around.
The campsite is very private and lovely.

Easy to find and access to tent area super close to car.
Fireflies were magical, and we felt encircled by the stars and tree line surrounding the field.
Lisa sent us on the road with a hot cuppa joe and local goodies for our adventure.

Lisa's land is just lovely, and she is an exceptional hostess. It was quiet, peaceful, and I felt safe staying on her land. Watching the fireflies/lightening bugs at night was a perfect light serenade! Her place was only a half hour from the GatewayArch but felt far away in the country. I am so glad I went here!

Lisa was absolutely amazing. We came in the middle of a tornado warning and storming and she made sure we had a place to stay inside if need be and checked up on us. Such a sweet person with a beautiful property!
