Lochsa Lodge is a four-season lodge in the heart of wild Idaho! We have 19 different cabins to choose from, some rustic with no plumbing and some fully furnished with private bathroom. The main lodge has a restaurant & tavern serving breakfast, lunch, & dinner daily. Open 365 days a year. Something happens when you get way, way off the beaten path. Time gets a little slower. Your to-do lists go out the window. Out here, it’s just you and the Great Wild West, and this place is every bit as epic as the stories say. The stars are brighter, the rivers are wilder, the air is clearer, the snow is deeper. Heck, even the mountains seem higher. Before you know it, you’ll remember what it’s like to just be you, a little piece of this big earth. You’ll get back to your true nature in no time.

I loved the cabin! It was beautifully decorated, the firewood and electric heater was great for the cold mornings and night! The beds were super comfortable, I did not have trouble sleeping in the cabin. Would go back again!

This is a beautiful space, without a doubt. The reason I wouldn't recommend this has more to do with the high cost of the space. It is decorated sweetly and is certainly charming- which sets it apart from a KOA. Unfortunately, I was expecting more for the high price of the rustic cabin.

Amazing Cabin Stay!!

This cabin was so amazing. It had everything we needed and the Lodge on site serves amazing food. We were pleasantly surprised that it was just camp food it was truly gourmet and tasty food. Also the staff was helpful and informative. The nearby river and hot springs was a huge plus and for someone staying a few days there was plenty to do. We will be staying here again in the future and will recommend to our friends

Rustic Cabin 7

Rustic in name only! Luxurious beds & thick towels, electric lights/plug, no TV (yes!), wood stove with firewood, screened front porch, eclectic/antique decorations. Communal shower & restrooms were clean, convenient, smelled like roses. Food was excellent at the main lodge built from local massive logs. There was a tiny general store and a gas pump. The drive through the mountains was winding but easy and safe. The small cabins & buildings were snuggled between giant old pines/conifers and the Lochsa River flowed beyond the community fire pit in the back of the Lodge. Just lovely!

Best Time Ever in the Mountains!

Rustic Cabin 1

Best time ever at the cabin in the woods! The campfire was the highlight for me. Met three new friends from Walla Walla who have spent time at Lochsa Lodge every year for 13 years! I want to return every year, too! The staff were magnificent and so accommodating. It was truly a memorable stay!
