Secret Hideaway
We absolutely loved this private little woodland getaway. We loved walking the trails and identifying all the different plants. Making dinner and s’mores over the fire pit was awesome, and we also laid out a blanket in the field to watch the stars come out and the bats fly around. It was super cool to hear them making noise. Being able to retreat back into the little home and have the comforts of air conditioning and a cozy bed was amazing. Definitely coming back!

Nice, but forced politics on us

It was a nice little cabin, clean, all the little comforts that might be forgotten at home were there. The area was nice, classic rural PA, to include a neighbor donkey who has opinions.
However, at the bottom of the steep driveway going up to the cabin was a Trump 2024 yard sign. We wanted an escape from the world for a few days, and that is what we saw to start it off with. If that’s your jam, go support them. It’s not for us and we would have canceled if we could have gotten our money back. With the political sign at the entrance to a rental property, it felt we were forced to endorse them as well. Not everything has to be made political, we weren’t looking to make a political stance, but the owners forced that onto us.
If it wasn’t for that sign, we’d probably come back.

I had a great time at the tiny home! The quiet and privacy helped me disconnect from the outside world for a bit, and the space was cozy with every amenity I could possibly need. Very thoughtfully appointed, either the hosts stay here themselves often or have great hospitality instincts.

We loved the Tiny Home! It was very private, very accommodating for the three of us, and many hiking areas in the area. In the two days there, went to the Allegheny Gorge Overlook and Rockland Woodhill Tunnel, wished we had at least another day to enjoy the region. We were already talking about the next visit on the way home. Definitely recommend!

This property was private and quiet. The home was well kept and just the right size for a quick peaceful getaway for our family of four. We enjoyed sitting on the porch playing games and sitting around the fire, eating s'mores in the evenings.

Perfect for everyone's comfort!
This tiny home and land were the perfect nature getaway from hustle & bustle of city life and work. With just the right amount of natural outdoor spaces and creature comforts so the whole family could enjoy time together and be happy. The setup is just right, comfortable, clean, peaceful. I surprised my husband with a little getaway to unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. We brought along our two dogs, and we had the best time! Our host was super attentive and provided clear directions, which made everything so easy. The tiny cabin totally exceeded my expectations—it even had a Blackstone grill! We absolutely adored this place and can’t wait to return!
We absolutely adore the getaway cabins, but honestly, this option was even better for the price!

This house and surrounding property were picturesque, private, and easy to find. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. The main fire pit area was fully stocked with outdoor furniture and firewood. The covered front porch was a great spot to unwind during the golden hour. And the a/c was a game changer in July. I know a number of reviews mention the driveway, but in a mid size SUV it was a non issue. We loved this listing and will absolutely be returning. It's definitely one of the best Pittsburgh area listings available on Hipcamp.

We've stayed here multiple times and this time was just wonderful! Our daughter just graduated from GCC and we were able to gather in the pavilion for a small family celebration! The house was just as we remembered and I love the common outside space! Thank you so much for allowing us the use of your wonderful space!

This was the perfect getaway. Nestled in the woods with so much privacy. The tiny home was adorable and had everything you could need. We loved the front porch and pavilion. We grilled and made breakfast on the Blackstone! Our dog loved running around the land and had a blast. Perfect location with a short drive to Moraine State Park and McConnell Mills. We’d love to come back!

Tiny bit of heaven

Beautiful little getaway. My daughter and I went early January and it had snowed the night we went. The quiet was refreshing and much needed. We will hopefully be returning in the future, I would love to be able to explore the area a bit better!

The tiny house was set on a beautiful property with lots of outdoor space and room for evening bonfires. The hosts were generous enough to even provide some s’mores ingredients.

We had a great time!
Really great place in the woods with some cute towns not too far away. They aren't kidding about needing 4-wheel drive to get up the drive way but we had a ton of fun and enjoyed the privacy and the space. We'll be back the next time we're up that way.

Our stay at the Tiny House was a great time. The property was quiet and private, so I had no concerns with my dog running around off leash. We used the front yard for our tent, but loved having the house there for the bathroom, shower, and some of our cooking. Most of it cooking was done on the covered pavillion area out back though. That was by far my daughter's favorite spot. It has a picnic table, firepit, and a great grated fire barrel to cook on. She loved having the string lights overhead.
The house was very clean, and had any supply we needed.
We'll try to get back soon.

Quaint and Unique Camping Experienc
The overhang on the porch and the grilling/cooking/fire pit area was fantastic! We were able to enjoy the outdoors even though it did rain off and on while we were there. The tiny house has actually got ample room and is a great place to stay especially if you have outdoor activities you like to do. It was clean on our arrival and had many different supplies for anything you may have forgotten to pack. I recommend it as a unique camping experience and will be back if our travels take us in that direction again!

Awesome place to spend the night. We stayed in a tent on property but it was great having the clean bathroom and well stocked kitchen in the tiny house next to our tent. They had a nice pavilion with a large open air fire ring, Blackstone griddle and firewood ready to go. Definitely planning to come back.

Wonderful tiny house

You can tell a lot of love went into this camp. Everything is set up perfectly for people who like to be outside. The house is well stocked, I forgot ketchup (how does a mom of a 6 year old forget ketchup!) which we didn’t realize until AFTER I cooked dinner. Thankfully there was ketchup. The house has pots, pans, mugs, plates bowls, utensils, and all the necessities. The fire pit can be used for cooking, there’s also a propane flat top outside. The fire pit was well stocked and can be lit under the pavilion in case of rain.
The house is cozy, beds comfy, and the a/c works! So does the fireplace but we only used it for a minute to show the kid.
We saw lots of butterflies, a family of turkeys, and a baby deer. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get some peace and quiet.

This is my second stay, and it was once again one of my favorite get aways. It was so peaceful and grounding. I loved hearing the birds bright and early in the morning, and seeing all the adorable animals and their babies. This is one of the most gorgeous places to stay. There is so much nature to enjoy and the tiny house is so adorable and cozy. Having almost anything you might need. Will definitely be returning, and suggest all to go if you are thinking about it. You won’t regret it!
