It's very peaceful here and enjoy hearing the animals. The adorable goats introducedthemselvis as I was packing up in the morning. -so cute. I love Goats! (Rooster crowed just before my actual alarm clock-LOL). I value privacy and safety and slept well. I slept in my SUV. I have an airmattress and sleeping pad that keeps me comfortable. I plan to be back next time I need to travel to PGH.

I really enjoyed getting to camp out in a place surrounded by the sight and sound of goats, chickens and horses. I loved the fact that although it's surrounded by forest, the hillside is fairly open and floods with bright morning sunlight. I even got a tour of the farm to pet the animals!

Rented on spur of the moment with some friends and we were all very pleased! Beautiful farm and very friendly, helpful and accommodating family. Definitely interested in coming back and would recommend to others!

We had a great time! It was peaceful and relaxed. The critters were fun. We had visits from dogs, goats and a chicken regularly. Everyone that came was very respectful of our privacy but still super friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.
Just remember, you need to be fully self contained. Plus this us a working barn with goats and chickens, you will smell it some. And, like any barn area, expect bugs, including a biting black fly that didn't seem too phased by OFF. Not Mendi's fault, it just is.

It was ok . Good for a stop over . They have a lot of potential , good location but could really spend some time setting up their designated camping sites and definitely need to rent a job johnny or 2 .

Mendi's property was amazing, very peaceful. Everyone was very friendly and always asking if there was anything we needed. Very accommodating to my schedule. We definitely be staying again in the future

The site was as pictured and easy to locate. Unfortunately it sounds like it’s very close to a kennel full of dogs who barked all night, loudly enough that it kept me awake (I’m a bit of a light sleeper). When I messaged the host they did not respond. I left after one night.

I enjoyed camping on Mendi's land. I was serenaded by an owl and listened to the patter of rain on my tarp. I made my reservation last minute,arrived late, and set up and went to sleep easily. I unfortunately had leave quickly in the morning as I had to be in a boat race early morning. I would most definately stay again. I felt safe and secure on her land much better than a busy campground. I appreciate her allowing me to stay the night and next time when in Pittsburgh will stay again

This was the prefect stop over location. It was convenient and also really peaceful. I loved waking up to the farm animal sounds:) I was pleased that the site had a fire pit, with wood too! Mendi was very accommodating and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable.

We enjoyed our time here. Our Skoolie struggled a bit with the hills/back roads getting there and we couldn’t quite get our bus level once we arrived, but for the price it was a good stop for us- quiet, easy to get to Pittsburgh, etc. The kids loved seeing the animals, too :)

The owners of the property were very friendly and helpful when we arrived! It was cool to see all the animals in their care. We just had some trouble sleeping at night because one horse who was in “time out” was kept next to our site and she was extremely vocal all evening… hysterical even. So that just affected our individual stay.

I loved staying at Mendi’s! Her property is very well taken care of and directions were clear and direct. I absolutely loved one of her goats who kept screaming for attention anytime he spotted us. All of her horses were super sweet and Duke is such a goofy character. I would definitely stay again.

Great Stay! Directions were clear and the property was beautiful. Mendi has the sweetest brown horse that came to greet us at the barn door. There was lots of space and it was a very private site. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Absolutely beautiful country, hilly setting. Mendi was pleasant & accommodating. We loved the goats & horses, Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see the rest of the barn animals. Property has immense potential. Suggest move old travel trailer on far end of field & relocate boat away from camping sites. Caution on sloped, wet ( due to rain) grassy camping site, our 4x4 Titan had some difficulty pulling our 21’ Minnie Winnie travel trailer out.

This was a nice tucked away location. We were able to arrive late without an issue. Our only glitch was the site we were given at the end of the driveway is sloped. We could have used a couple of our leveling blocks, but having not pulled in until 11ish, we just parked so our heads were up and slept on the slope. Host was very communicative and we appreciated the late arrival though.

Wonderful place to stay! Peaceful, out in the country, easy access. Very private. Hearing and watching the farm animals in their pastures was so relaxing. Very special.
I'll definitely be returning often. Only 30 minutes from Pittsburgh.

Site 4 -Round Pen
Mendi was an extremely accommodating host! The land is spacious and has many farm animals which accompanied with the fantastic view made for a nice get away. The land it’s self was flat and not awfully hard appealing to tent camping.
