CAMPSITE IS LOCATED IN THE ORCHARD. Please do not enter the main farm driveway. If you are not looking at Apple trees you are in the wrong place. Pets need to be on a leash and cleaned up after. Please do not leave them out of the orchard. My grandfather purchased the property and everything you can see 360° around you in 1953. The orchard was started in 1962 and the large trees date back to that time and still produce apples. My dad took over in 1985 and it has been part of my life ever since. After my dads passing in 2017 the property fell to me. At it's peak there were 85 trees that produced 500 bushels of apples per season. All hand pruned, sprayed and picked. We sold them 5 days a week at local farmers markets. Currently, about two dozen trees are maintained, the rest feed the local wildlife. An orchard is a year round commitment. Enjoy your stay. ~Dale This is a small working family orchard. Sites are rustic. RV and trailers can park on grass or the driveway. Tents ⛺ can set up on the grass. Sites are not marked. Location is near I-43 & Highway 83. Summerfest is the world's largest musical festival and it is located 30 minutes away. Weekend Trip to Small Orchard on 150 acre Farm

Great place with very accommodating folks running it. We are stayed twice, once in the spring and once in the fall. It is very beautiful in the spring while everything is in bloom. Nice private area off the beaten path. We will definitely stay again.

This was a perfect little spot to pitch a tent in exactly the area I was looking for. Easy to find and beautiful surroundings. Be prepared to hear lots of wildlife at night!

Cedar hills is a lovely hidden gem. It was so freeing to just be sunbathing naked in nature. There weren't too many people so there was enough room to space out. Felt very comfortable as 2 women campers. Dennis was great! Will definitely be frequenting next season.

Had an awesome time out there. Got to meet the owner, Dennis, which was great. The views are unreal, and there’s plenty of site options—whether you want to be up on the ridge looking out or down in the valley. Already looking forward to heading back next year.

This is our second time to cedar hills and again it was amazing. We were lucky enough to get site 20 with the swing and the beautiful view! The rains have for sure made it buggy but manageable! We had wonderful weather and we will be back again for sure it was quiet and everyone was polite and friendly

I did not get to take advantage of the complete property due to recent flooding in the area. Our host made this issue very clear to me before I came up though. My wife and I were exploring Janesville and just needed a place for the night. It was a perfect weekend. The weather was so nice. It was so quiet there. The way the campsite was set up allowed the wind to just go straight through our camper. I was greeted by a couple of wagging tail camp ambassadors while walking the driveway. They were very friendly. I would definitely go back if i had plans to be in the area.

Really liked this campground. It was very easy to get to and close to a town if you need anything but you wouldn’t know it as it was so quiet. There are a variety of sites to choose from very private to more open sites. The shower building was fantastic, nicest one I’ve ever been in on a campground. The water pressure is outstanding! Dennis was quite lovely and came around offering ice if you needed it. Lots of available firewood as well. I’m a solo woman camper and felt perfectly safe here. Would definitely come back here again.

Book this place! I took our 3 boys (11/9/5) this weekend and it was perfect. The site is clean, flat, and well stocked. There was an awesome teepee, fire pit, grill (with complimentary charcoal), garbage/recycling cans, picnic table, 4 amazing kayaks, trails galore - I could keep going on. The hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The area was fun to explore including kettle moraine and local lakes, the property was safe and quiet. We were “lucky” enough to get 3-5” of rain one night and the grounds drained well and we were not impacted. We will be back next year!

If you’re looking for a safe camping area near Oconomowoc, WI in town of Ixonia…I highly recommend this spot! Family members are so nice, camping spots are country living with no amenities other than wildlife viewing! Been back twice already & plan to come again down the road!

Cedar hills campground was amazing to my fiance and I. We stayed in site nine and it was nice and private. We were able to live freely all weekend long. We do recommend bringing foggers along for the bugs other than that everyone was friendly for the most part or stuck to themselves. We were able to get up and go during the day and adventure out.

Another wonderful weekend at this site. Our 2nd time here and it did not disappoint. The site itself had many nice improvements since we were here last and is extremely peaceful, the fish were biting, and the family is very welcoming and caring. We will be back again!
