CAMPSITE IS LOCATED IN THE ORCHARD. Please do not enter the main farm driveway. If you are not looking at Apple trees you are in the wrong place. Pets need to be on a leash and cleaned up after. Please do not leave them out of the orchard. My grandfather purchased the property and everything you can see 360° around you in 1953. The orchard was started in 1962 and the large trees date back to that time and still produce apples. My dad took over in 1985 and it has been part of my life ever since. After my dads passing in 2017 the property fell to me. At it's peak there were 85 trees that produced 500 bushels of apples per season. All hand pruned, sprayed and picked. We sold them 5 days a week at local farmers markets. Currently, about two dozen trees are maintained, the rest feed the local wildlife. An orchard is a year round commitment. Enjoy your stay. ~Dale This is a small working family orchard. Sites are rustic. RV and trailers can park on grass or the driveway. Tents ⛺ can set up on the grass. One picnic table on site. One fire pit. Minutes from the Rock River for paddling and fishing. No bathroom on site. No water onsite. No onsite camp host. My Uncle is your neighbor, so I will hear about any mischief you might get into.

Site 8 - Small Orchard on 150 acre Farm
Rainy but Peaceful night with Zoe
I drove a couple of hours total to a bare-bones site, paid to sleep on the ground, spent the night listening to rain drops hit the tent, then spent twenty minutes packing up in the rain. BUT, I took a no-highway route which was peaceful, we were alone in the quiet, but got to meet and chat with the very nice man on the farm next door (owner's uncle?) - who totally reminded me of my Dad - who said to knock if we needed anything (we didn't). The rain was steady from about 2:00am on but we had a great fire going before that, the rain was light with the apple trees giving us cover, and the dog and I both slept well. Of course we had a good time. Just the quiet night away from home that I wanted.

Site 1 - Small Orchard on 150 acre Farm
This is a nice place. It's clean, on a quiet road, surrounded by cornfield and farmhouses. I think that's what the host means by "150 acres". The actual available space is a couple of acres. A couple of low-tech improvements would help: a hand-drawn map showing what areas ARE available for strolling, walking dogs, etc., with corresponding site boundary markers; if the host lists the campsites individually, and allows site-specific reservations, then the sites should be marked onsite, and site-specific reservations should be honored. I don't see the need for that. Just clearly state in the description that it's 1st come 1st serve site selection. The campground comfortably fits 3 parties, as far as we could tell. 3 sites are roomy, and level enough without leveling jacks. The sites are right off the road, on either side of the driveway, and at the back of the driveway itself. If you have dogs, you'll be walking them along the road, which is fine. If you CAN walk other places, please make those clear with an onsite and/or online map.
