We had a great time relaxing by the river! Very private spot, with plenty of both shady and sunny areas. The river was beautiful and kayaking it was a nice way to spend the day. Lots of twists and turns and nature!

We had the absolute best time on our mini retreat! This beautiful piece of land was exactly the peaceful getaway our family needed. One of the highlights was canoeing the Fox River up to the Mukwonago Riverâit was such a fun and memorable experience. The sandy-bottom river made it easy and enjoyable for the whole family to get out, explore, and spend time on the water.
The property offered the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, and we left feeling refreshed and recharged. Weâre already looking forward to booking another stay for an early fall getaway. Highly recommend! đđŁââïžđż
This trip was the perfect way to kick off our summer. The site is located in the far back of their property with views of the Fox River. Perfect spot for star gazing! There were plenty of kayaks and canoes for us to use. We had 2 children and a dog with us and the Fox River was an exceptional first canoeing experience for them. We also very much enjoyed walking the gravel trail to see their goats.
We appreciated all the beautiful views, sun-powered lights around the campsite, the portable power station, the clean porta potty, calming tipi, spacious picnic table, and the grill.
Would love to camp here again!
Great campsite! Easy access to river and very secluded feeling. Saw a few deer and foxes crossing the adjacent fields as well as a couple bald eagles. Felt very immersed in nature for being just a few minutes up the road from Mukwonago. Will definitely be returning for a quick escape from the city.
Loved the site. Totally private and beautiful views! Picnic table, garbage, tippi, and torches a big plus.

Nice campsite and nice host! Right next to the fox river! The usable space is much smaller than I anticipated but we had a great trip!
Book this place!
I took our 3 boys (11/9/5) this weekend and it was perfect. The site is clean, flat, and well stocked. There was an awesome teepee, fire pit, grill (with complimentary charcoal), garbage/recycling cans, picnic table, 4 amazing kayaks, trails galore - I could keep going on.
The hosts were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay.
The area was fun to explore including kettle moraine and local lakes, the property was safe and quiet.
We were âluckyâ enough to get 3-5â of rain one night and the grounds drained well and we were not impacted.
We will be back next year!
Another wonderful weekend at this site. Our 2nd time here and it did not disappoint. The site itself had many nice improvements since we were here last and is extremely peaceful, the fish were biting, and the family is very welcoming and caring. We will be back again!

Great communication with the host. The site was great and our three year old daughter loved watching all of the fire flies all around at night.
Lovely place. The kids really enjoyed fishing amd exploring with the canoes and kayaks. The teepee was a hit and helped take the edge off the nightâs cold. Saw many different types of birds. You can experience nature while still being conveniently close to town.
This was a great get away for some camping. There were very heavy winds when we stayed so I put the tent under the Teepee to help. It worked out perfectly. I Waldo enjoyed kayaking on the Fix River and I was able to catch a couple catfish.
Great setup right on the river. Beautiful and peaceful. We had a great camp and looking forward to coming back sometime.

This campsite was just right for a dreamy weekend getaway from the city. It was quiet, well kept, and private, and we loved the tipi and kayaks. The host communicated well through the app, and I would definitely return to this spot.

Simply Maple is super cute!
My husband and I enjoyed our private spot, including the tipi and plenty of boats to choose from to get on the water. On the water we saw lots of animals/birds. A great little escape. We came from within county so we had brought our own wood, but they had more available on-site for a reasonable price. Nicole & Dan we hospitable, giving us our space. Would definitely recommend for 2 or for a group! She also included a place to charge phones, a picnic table, and a hammock. All great bonuses we didn't expect, but made us have to take less out of the car! Also, you are close by to a lot of local amenities, so if camp food isn't your thing, you can go out or pick up items you forgot!

We loved how close our site was to the Fox River. We were able to use a provided canoe to explore the beautiful river channel. Quiet, clean and tons of amenities including campfire wood available for an additional fee.
Great camping site. The teepee is very comfortable and a great landmark for when you're on river. We even managed to see some bald eagle's while there. Will definitely be going back.
The tipi was so cool and everything they offered was amazing . Very private and beautiful camping spot. We will definitely come back again and again.
We really enjoyed camping at Simply Maple farms! It was very private. Enjoyed having a nice fire by the river and watching all the wildlife! Nicole was very responsive to all my texts! Would definitely like to go back in the future!
gorgeous land with somewhat private. you will hear neighbors strolls by but they all friendly. we stayed for two nights but definitely would stay longer. this is definitely one of my favorite campsite. we will be back pretty soon!
Nice place. Close to the Fox river which affords multiple activities (fishing, boating, swimming, etc.) Good host, would stay here again sometime in the future.
This is a beautiful site, private with a great view close to the water. Highly recommended
We enjoyed our two nights on Nicole's land! It is very scenic, overlooking the Fox River. We opted to set up tent closer to the river for more shade since it was very hot. Fair warning the ground is a bit bumpier/hillier down there, but the space is homey and secluded. Our kids loved the hammock, and we loved that there were a couple of canoes and kayaks right by the river that we could use. Definitely take a trip up and down the Fox River if you are able... it's so pretty!
A but if a drive to the river so smaller cars will struggle. Rough road. Worth it! Breathtaking views and use of watercraft. Loved our weekend. Not many flat spots by River for tent camping. Smaller tent perhaps. Hospitable host
