This farm is unique in that it was cleared and stripped of its topsoil and its fill was sold off to the state. What was left behind was a pond and some poor farmland. I purchased this less desirable property inexpensively and have been working tirelessly to regenerate the property to a farm that mimics nature and our natural ecosystem. I have planted over 1000 trees and perennial shrubs to move this property into an oak savannah-like natural farming system. I had a great time at their farm. The cabin is perfect for one or two campers and there’s plenty of room for another tent or two as well. There’s a good size fire pit and a couple different docks to enjoy the view of the pond. There’s also canoes and a paddle boat for use with life jackets available as well. They have everything you need available, and a great farm store for any food you might have forgotten to pack. They encourage you to roam around the property and there’s a lot of great stuff to see. I think it’s really great that they were able to set this piece of their property aside to share with anyone trying to get away for some peace and relaxation. They’re also doing some really great restorative work on the land that’s interesting to hear about. I loved my weekend here and I’ll definitely be back again!

Fun spot, cute little tiny house with bunk beds! If you're planning to bring a pop up you can just barely pull in and turn around. Pulled my Escapade summit square drop trailer in but it was a TIGHT fit. If you're trailer is wider than 90" like mine you may not get it pulled in. The dogs are nice and the chicken coop is close so you'll hear the roosters in the AM. The kids loved it!

This is an intimate little place, really quite lovely in the farm yard. More appropriate for tents (we had a teardrop that was difficult to situate). Never met the hosts - I think they were away, we didn't see lights in the house or any activity. Electric cord provided was not long enough to reach site, even with my own extension. A nice place to overnight.

I loved the beautiful and private setting we had behind the barn. Site had electricity to run a box fan I brought which was a life saver since the 4th of July weekend was HOT. it was nice to just pull up in our van and have a fire pit with chairs and table to use. Firewood was even available. All we had to do is fill up and deflate our air beds each day and go. Would never do the traditional hauling everything but the kitchen sink camping again. There was abundant wildlife to enjoy was well. Highly recommend coming for a stay.

Justin and his family are excellent hosts. He took us around on a farm tour, explained the inner workings of the farm and we got to collect eggs in the morning for breakfast. We’ve been coming here annually for almost four years and have a ball every time we come. The campsite is private, secluded, beautiful and serene. It is kept clean and well maintained.
