This tiny valley farm once had stanchions to milk 8 cows in the barn. That was in 1890. Now we are home to sheep, steers, hogs, cats, dogs, chickens and myriad wild critters and pollinators and migrators. We are a conservation farm and on a mission to heal our wetland, improve our trout stream and bring people out to the land.
We are in Driftless Southwest Wisconsin - gorgeous hills and quilted cropland bisected by oak woods and switchback rivers. Pitch your tent, park a small camper/rv, or stay in one of our three vintage campers.
You will share an indoor bathroom, or our open-to-the-sky hot outdoor shower, and an outdoor sink with other campers. We serve a pick-up community breakfast with coffee and tea.
We have a Cedar Sauna you can reserve. This is easy camping with a view of the stars, nestled in a farm-to-table farm community with lots of goods to buy.
We LOVE our Driftless neighborhood in SW Wisconsin and can recommend many amazing activities for everyone from fisherman to families!
We're close to shopping, antiquing, Amishing and good eating. We're within a half hour of 3 great rail trails, two state parks and one amazing ATV rental. Go to an old-fashioned drive in movie, a local farmers market, dirt-track stock care races, tractor pulls, a u-pick apple farm or a Toy Train Museum. Go kayaking, boating or biking - you can rent what you need. Or sit on one of the porches to watch the chickens peck and the pigs dig.
We can't wait to introduce you to all the livestock, cats, our Great Pyrr Willie and our Border Heeler Dolly! We are a five minute walk from our cute downtown with a playground, library and several great places to eat. Ten minutes from New Glarus Brewery. A half hour from Mineral Point (Fall Art Tour), Mount Horeb (Troll Way), Dodgeville (House on the Rock) and Monroe (Cheese Days).
Fifteen minutes from hiking, fishing and boating at Yellowstone Lake State Park. Campfire with s'mores every night, coffee and scones in the morning. Wifi is reliable on some spots on the property, and a sure thing on the front breakfast porch.

Sailor Springs is a small three-site campground located just two miles outside of the picturesque tourist town of Bayfield, WI. 2023 will be our first year of operation and we’re excited to host campers on the property and provide a unique camping experience.
The campground is spread out over 5 acres of forest that you’ll hike into from Bresette Hill Road. After parking at the trailhead, you’ll gather your bags and hike into your glamping site. The trail winds through the woods, leading you first to a valley where the seasonal Clark Creek runs through in the spring. The first two campsites are on the other side of this valley. The trail can be steep in spots and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility to reach the secluded campsites. The third site is a bit farther into the forest, the little A-frame cabin, Anchor sits on the edge of the spring-fed Brickyard Creek that flows year-round.
We have many plans for the property and depending on when you stay, the campground will be in various stages of development. The campsites, trailhead / parking area, and trails are scheduled to be completed in early spring. We hope to add amenities such as a camp sauna and screened-in gazebo later in the 2024 summer / fall. Spring Green hosts many events about 7 minutes from Frank Lloyd Wrights Taliesin, APT, The Shitty Barn, The Lock of Love Bridge and House on the Rock.
The Cabin in a 16x16 one room lofted 6 feet from ground with 2 decks just next to the path to the woods and entrance. It has a queen size bed, large flat screen, wifi, hot pot, mini fridge, outdoor grill and microwave with various kitchen utensils. There is no running water in the cabin but there is a dry sink and compost toilet. A shower is just a short walk away at the main cabin with all the instant hot water that could be asked for. We have plenty of extras to share if you need something, if not a Dollar General is just a mile away. Please be aware there are poisonous plants and various wildlife that roam freely. No animal hunting allowed. We love pets and have adopted ours which roam freely. We’re sorry we can’t accommodate yours for that reason… we can recommend local accommodations for your fur babies.

This was a great stay! My kids and I spent a night on our way to Illinois from MN.
Christine was a lovely and interesting host. Had so much local information to share. This is a heritage Certified Organic farm in Amish country.
The landscaping and accessibility to the animals was fantastic.
The sunset and sunrise are not to be missed.
We would definitely stay again!
So affordable also, way better experience than a hotel on the interstate.

Group trip
We were a group of 4 families, a total of 16 people, and we had a blast over there on the Juneteenth weekend. Kevin and Sherry are the best hosts. Kids loved to interact with the goats over there. The entire property is fenced, so no worries about anything outside. We even pitched our tent outside. The hot tub was a great help in engaging kids and relaxing when tired. There is a volleyball net, a lot of open area, and badminton and dart games. Plenty of chairs and free firewood. The love shack has two queen beds, but we had our extra tent pitched so that everyone can sleep well.

We absolutely loved this camping site! The fenced property was a huge plus, providing both privacy and peace of mind. The grounds were well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available if we needed anything. Their hospitality really made our stay special. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable outdoor stay. We can’t wait to come back!

What a great weekend and amazing spot!
Cute, cozy, simple and in the woods- just what we needed!
The cabin - comfy bed, great linen, mini fridge, snacks and amazing decks to listen to the wind in the trees.
Great host - thank you for the help getting our car where it needed to be for our paddle- the river was amazing and then to sot at a private beach all late afternoon - We will be back!

Weekend Trip to Pink River Ranch in the Driftless
We enjoyed a beautiful night at Pink River Ranch in the vintage Airstream camper. The campfire was easy to make with the fire starter kit. There were friendly dogs and an adorably curious cat, in addition to cute farm animals, even a baby goat! The place was easy to find with the Google coordinates and directions provided. My husband enjoyed the private outdoor shower. A very romantic, relaxing stay for two.

2 nights at Circle M Farm Stay: Camp or Glamp
Was such a fun and welcoming place! My nephew had an amazing time with all the animals his first time glamping. Breakfast was my favorite part while I was able to watch and photograph all the birds. Definitely family friendly and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

This was one of the best Hipcamp stays I've ever had. Christine truly thought of everything and it was clear from the moment I arrived how much care and attention went into the property and guest experience.
The location was perfect. Within just a few miles, I was able to visit an Amish bakery, candy store, variety store, "Amish Walmart" and other local shops. There were also several canoeing and kayaking outfitters nearby for anyone wanting to enjoy the Kickapoo River.
The living space stayed plenty cool while it was 85 degrees out and there were fans in each room. The main bedroom also had a little space heater for when the temperature dropped.
My favorite part was the beautiful wooded area on the property. I loved driving the mile-long path back to the woods and then spending time walking the trails with my dogs. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly the kind of escape I was looking for. Sitting in the shade, listening to the wind through the trees, and spending time with my dogs was the highlight of my trip. Also, I didn't have any problems with mosquitoes or ticks while I was there.
I left wishing I had booked a longer stay. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the heart of Amish country.
Oh, and bring enough cash! Between all the Amish shops, purchasing some organic beef from Christine and visiting her farm stand, I almost ran out and it's like a 15 minute drive to Ontario for an ATM machine.

Perfect for getting off the beaten path. The driveway into the property was easy to find. It was super private and quiet. I really appreciated the path lights out to the outhouse during the dark hours. Sadly we didn’t have a chance to use the outdoor shower.
Lots of really interesting books, games and other fun stuff.

We absolutely loved our stay in Cabin Amanita! The camp staff were incredibly welcoming and full of recommendations. They remembered who we were the next day, and even shared photos that we knew we'd love.
The cabin itself was really charming. Even though it's attached to a larger campground, it felt very secluded, which is exactly what our fearful dog needed. He and our other pup were in heaven, having a large area around the cabin to sniff around.
Hanging out with a campfire after a day of hiking was heaven. We definitely want to come back some day- we didn't even get to visit a fraction of what there was in the area!
One thing to note is that toilets, water access, etc are a short walk from the cabin. Toilets are maybe a one minute walk, water access maybe three minutes. The camp store is just a minute walk away, and has both essentials and fun things (like ice cream).

What a little piece of heaven that we needed for the weekend. We did all the Amish things, had great local food, LOVED petting the calves, and relax by the fire at night with a beautiful sunset! Breezy on the ridge, so no mosquito bites. Christine is a sweet, attentative host. Will def be back ☺️

Beautiful views!!! Charming living quarters.
Christine made sure you have the essentials such as gas grill, coffee pot, microwave, crock pot and electric skillet and cooking utensils. There is no refrigerator or stove so make sure to bring ice. Full size bed is very comfortable . There is a porta potty close to the building. There is talk about a portable shower coming this summer. Very quiet and lovely stay.

We adored our stay at Elysian View Farm. The view is indeed spectacular, especially at sunset, and the rural surroundings, both agricultural and natural are stunning. But even more beautiful, for us, was the warmth, kindness, and generosity of our hosts, Christine and Dave. They made us feel special and cared about, helped us find a beautiful fishing spot, and treated us like family. We are honored and blessed to have been their guests.
