Dunbar is not to far away and there you can find Thermal Chaos, it's a great bbq place, they also have great burgers and 24 hr 91 non ethanol gas. You can also try Richard's supper club for great food also. I am also right on the atv trail. Marinette country has many waterfalls to explore also. Please follow the golden rule of camping and hiking is “leave no trace.” Anything you bring in, must be carried out. Please pack your waste, trash and recyclables, and take it with you when you leave. You may use dead and downed wood as firewood, but do not cut live trees or brush. Keep fires small and make sure your campfire is out before you leave. I hope you have a great time!

My dad had been selling Christmas trees since 1945 and when the milking got to be too much for my mom we converted it to a Christmas tree farm in 1979. Dave & I built our home here and continue the Christmas tree tradition as well as raise Haflinger horses, The sheep started as 4H projects for our kids in the 90's and now my daughter and I have a small flock. We have a large space that can be used for family reunions, birthday parties etc and we offer a variety of classes and special events. (This will be the building where you can get water, use the bathroom and take emergency shelter if needed.) We also purchased my parents home from my siblings and rent it as a farm stay vacation spot. We really enjoy the variety of people we've hosted in one way or another, and love to share what our lives are like with others.While I love to travel myself, there is no where else I could call home! I love being able to enjoy all four seasons and knowing 5 cars on my road is a busy day. I hope you find the same sense of 'home' here that I do.Learn more about this land:Plenty of space to pitch your tent overlooking the Christmas tree field and a gorgeous view of the hardwood forests in the distance. Enjoy fishing for panfish right off the pier or use the paddle boat provided to meander down the creek and catch rock bass. The lake is known for panfish, bass, walleye, and northern. The crystal clear water in both the lake and the creek make for beautiful paddling as you watch the fish swim right underneath you and observe the turtles. Please be respectful of the nesting loon platforms and other lake owners. Please do not use their floating rafts. Enjoy the numerous surrounding lakes such as Chute Pond, Maiden Lake, Boot Lake, Townsend Flowage and more! Bagley Rapids is minutes away. Located near Townsend, Mountain and Lakewood which provide multiple dining options, bait shops, gas stations, and more. Please be respectful of this land. Please do not tamper with the campers or shed. Please feel free to use any wood you find already down in the woods or take from the numerous stick piles found near the campsites. Please do not use the cut firewood. The wood in the stick piles has been stacked for your use and is good dry wood that will provide you with hot fires. We do not even use the cut wood in the summer, spring, or fall. My young children and I have worked hard to clear those sites and cut wood for our own personal use in the winter so please respect the effort we have put in so we can continue to enjoy our land and share this beautiful location with others. There is no electric or water so please plan your trip accordingly. Please leave no trace and carry out what you bring in. There are no toilets available so you will need to provide your own portable toilet. Peeing on a tree is fine, but no pooping in holes. If you chose to drive down to the campsite by the creek you are doing so at your own risk as vehicles have gotten stuck trying to get back up especially after a rain fall and had to get towed out. It is recommended you park up on top and walk the short distance down. ATV/UTV are fine going down to the creek campsite. The long driveway has plenty of room for multiple vehicles, trailers, and boats. Absolutely no hunting or shooting of guns is allowed on the property. Bears have been seen on the property so please use bear safe camping practices. If your children use the ninja line or hammocks on site they do so at their own risk and we are not held liable for any injuries that may occur. You may notice a zip line. The seat will be removed and is not to be tampered with or used. Quiet time is between 10pm-6am. No illegal activity (including fireworks) are allowed. You may see us up there but we will respect your privacy and space. We welcome company and conversation but also respect you may prefer to be left alone. You'll need a total of 60 feet of power cord and garden hose to reach the electrical and water connections, along with a 20-foot sewer hose for dumping. Please note that all hookups are located on the opposite side of the RV from where utilities are typically positioned, as your RV must be backed onto the gravel pad. For RVs and trailers longer than 20 feet, access to the RV pad is easiest by backing down the hill from the main road, approximately 200 feet away. The RV pad is nearly a straight shot from the road; however, there is not enough room to turn around at the site for larger RVs and trailers. A quiet property located in the depths of the national forest of northern Wisconsin. Enjoy easy access to your parking spot with entry and exit points at either end of the drive. Guests have access to all 10 acres of the property. Take a walk or ATV ride to the northeast hill for a beautiful view or sit on the dock with your coffee in the fresh air and possibly see the mallards land for a swim. ATV trails are just a quarter-mile away, as are the Northern Lights Casino and a convenience store. Many hiking trails and local attractions are within a few miles and offer fulfilling experiences.

We really enjoyed staying on Nate's property. He did a really great job being a host asking if we needed anything. He helped my husband's get things set up outside for a camper. He even helped blow up our daughters outside canoe. We would definitely go there again.

Very nice camping spot. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The mini beach across the street was a nice place to wade in the lake and sit on the beach. Nathan was super friendly and made sure you were informed on the site and surrounding.

We had a great time visiting this site. There is a lot to do in the area and a nice dog beach in walking distance from the site so our pups were in heaven! We also rented a boat from twin bridge four seasons and enjoyed the gorgeous lake 🤩.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp site! It was so close to so many great activities and restaurants! The site was very clean and the startup firewood they left for free was very nice since we didn't get in until late. It was also nice to be able to purchase more on site! The site does sit close to the road, so we were a little concerned about our dogs, but we were able to park to block off some of the view and we didn't have any issues. Lori was super nice to work with and was thankfully close by to help us jump start our vehicle on the last day! lol (never fails) We rented a boat from Popps Marina (super affordable and friendly people) and we ate dinner at Rene's Supper Club. We are already trying to plan a trip back to the area!

Great location, beautiful private site and wonderful hosts! The Crivitz area may lag behind in popularity from the Northwoods like Eagle River, however it deserves more credit, its a beautiful region, great people, abd we will return!

My husband and I stayed at Judith's this past weekend and had a blast. She made sure that everything was just right. Nice and clean. She had firewood ready for us. We also loved that there was a gate for us to close once we were in for the night. She also had free range chickens 🐔 that came to visit once we had arrived. I also have to mention Woodys Bar and grill, awesome food!!! Thanks again Judy, we will be back!

Exactly as advertised - super responsive and helpful host. Full hookups for the camper-trailer were really convenient and easily accessible. Private space with bonfires at night was a treat and being right down the road from the state park made for plenty of fun daytime activities.

It was peaceful, even though you heard road noise. It truly was peaceful. Loved the location, close to everything, we went atving and trails were just down road. The property was very well maintained, nicely set up. We will definitely be back many times. Not sure I want to recommend it because I would like to keep our little secret, but it was wonderful.
