Excellent camp site with incredibly clean facilities and kind staff. Very close to downtown and fast access to local tourist sites. The shop on site was full of everything you might need and great gifts as well. Will definitely return in the future!
My first time camping and what an amazing experience. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. We camped in the sites further away that were specific to tents, and they have nice heavy duty wagons to help transport your camping items to your site. They also have a lovely little store with snacks and possible forgotten items as well as a gift shop. Clean bathrooms and showers on the main building and porta potty’s by the camping sites that were very clean as well. Can not recommend this place enough!
I had a great experience at CAMP Door County. The primitive site gave me the privacy and peace & quiet that I was looking for, while still having access to flushing toilets and clean, hot showers. The wagons they provide were sturdy and rugged, very helpful for loading in and out. The location was great for exploring many of the coastal towns and nearby state parks, and far enough out that I didn't feel like I was in the middle of a tourist trap. I would definitely stay here again, I wanted to try the sauna but had too much other stuff on my agenda! Also the staff were all super friendly although I didn't have any issues so didn't need to interact with them too much. Overall it was a great experience and I'm very glad I found this place!

Very nice campground and facilities. There were a lot of open sites/sections but we were placed next to a tour bus rig whose hvac system was running all night with the exception of 4 minutes of blissful silence every 40 minutes or so before hvac would rev up again. Tent camping next to a tour bus wasn’t ideal, especially when sections of site were available. Before you ask, I wasn’t going to take down and set up again after dark.
Very quiet, clean and great campground! The camp store was great. The showers and bathrooms were so clean! Beautiful location. Loved the sauna, hammocks and lawn games

We haven't been camping since we were kids...we spent a week at Camp Door County and it was amazing! Great site with all the amenities and hook ups. Staff super nice and helpful. Campground was clean and new. Loved the private showers, camp store, live music on several nights and the view of the nighttime sky was amazing! Highly recommend!!
Camp Door County RV resort was a great place to spend our weekend in Door County. We loved its location as it is far enough from Sister Bay to get you away from the any crowds but close enough that you can comfortably ride a bike to Sister Bay. It has clean, modern bathrooms and showers. Fire pits are well maintained too. We are already planning a return trip for a longer period of time.

Well maintained campground; lots of things are brand new! Will only get better as the trees fill in and improve the divisions between sites. We enjoyed the music performances and the camp bar. A great home base for Door County adventures.
Door County never really had anything like CAMP, but now it does which means an affordable way to vacation in ritzy Door County. You pay less, but there's no compromise on atmosphere, safety and cleanliness. It exceeds expectations. Can't wait to come back!

Great place. The only issue was as a disabled traveler, the “accessible” shower was difficult to use. It doesn’t meet universal design standards. The shower stall was too small for a shower chair and an attendant. There was also no drain for the excess water that pooled in the middle of the room creating a potential slip hazard
Wow! Amazing stay! What a beautiful and clean place. So much thought and care has gone into this campground.
We took a family trip and truly appreciated being able to enjoy a ‘primitive site’ while also having the benefit of all of the amenities.

Super cute and welcoming community area. Provisions store. Bar on site. Sauna. Hammock lounge area.
The staff were extremely accommodating and worked with us when we needed to make adjustments to our trip during the booking process! We are grateful.

What stood out to me most was how peaceful and well maintained the property was. The surroundings were beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. The campsite was clean, and one of the best features was having 24-hour access to clean showers, which made our stay much more comfortable. overall, it was great experience I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor getaway.
Very new but organized nicely. The entire site is clean and managed perfectly. This site will be beautiful once the trees grow a bit as some sites were quite bare and lacking appeal. The Swedish sauna/spa was awesome BUT not complete and we were unable to use. Dang it. The Lodge is stunning and has a great selection of items for sale-groceries, clothing, essentials, etc. Only gripe is The Lodge::: please price the items - we hate playing the ‘how much is this?’ game. Overall, we would love to camp here again in a year or so. Thank you! 😊
We stayed at one of the new primative tent sites and would highly recommend. The site fit our 8 person tent and screen tent, however some are a little smaller.
The hike in is slightly uphill and maybe 300 yds, they do have nice wagons to help haul, our kids(6 and 8) were able to manage this.

Fun campground with everything you need and more. Staff is so nice and helpful. Enjoyed the sports bar, live music band and the food truck smash burger was delicious. Also appreciated the clean restrooms & private showers. Better than a hotel at a fraction of the price. I rode my bike into downtown Sister Bay from the campground, the town was packed with people so it was nice to have a quiet camp with lots of space to relax to return to.
I loved the tent camping. The camp sites and famcilities were very clean. Firewood and camping essentials were available for purchase on site. The community hammocks were a great touch. We will definitely be back.
I cannot stress this enough, lovely hosts, even lovelier spot! The amenities were killer for a motorcycle ride, clean showers, laundry, on site food/drinks, wood for fire.
Seriously my group rolled in on motorcycles and they went out of their way to accommodate us. With a terrible storm rolling in they entertained us at the onsite bar, even offering shelter if things got too serious. In short, don’t hesitate to drop in on this wonderful hosts!
CAMP Door County exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds! The grounds were impeccably kept, the staff was so friendly and fun, and the amenities made all the difference in our stay. We will be back and we will tell our friends!

Great first camping experience

First time camping with our young family while exploring Door County, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. John and Phil were incredibly helpful in getting us settled into our primitive campsite and made us feel welcome right away.
The campsite itself was spacious enough for our family of four, with plenty of room to comfortably set up an 8-person tent. It was level, private, and nicely surrounded by trees and brush, which made it feel peaceful and secluded. The only minor downside was the lack of picnic tables at the primitive sites.
My wife was especially impressed by how clean the bathrooms and shower facilities were throughout our stay. Overall, this campground made for an excellent first family camping experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
The property has primitive camping, rv spots and cabins. They have a building with showers, toilets, food shop, gift shop and a bar open from 4-9. The primitive spots have a couple of port a potties and carts to take your things to the site from your car. Each site has a fire ring. There is a playground for kids and a bike trail. John, Marcia and Phil were great!

We went tent camping here with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Very clean facilities and nice amenities. Plus it's convenient to all the door county activities we had planned. One thing I would say would have made our stay a little better is if there were an additional bathroom on the other side of the site. We stayed in a site that was on the opposite end of the property from the bathrooms and it was kind of annoying having to walk that far if we needed to go in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning when you really gotta go. I think even a port-o-potty would have been good.

I loved camping here for Labor Day Weekend!
If you are camping in Door county this is a good spot. Just make sure you have a thick blanket or camping mat for the ground. There are large mulch pieces.

absolutely beautiful grounds, they thought of it all when building this place! We’ve stayed at numerous campgrounds in Door County and this was the best by far. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Everything went well, I loved it, my Wife loved it and so did my daughter, she had so much fun on the playground, and the facility is immaculate. Clean clean clean. Big bonus, considering i have seen so many showers that were filthy. The owners absolutely care a out the people that come here and stay, that is the exact feeling my wife and I said to eachother. They think of many small and large details! They are still getting better and better and doing what they can to improve the site, what more can you ask for. 10/10 would recommend, in fact, i am going back up next weekend to stay again for a fishing trip with the boys!
