An oasis of gardens and meadows that has become my personal sanctuary. My hopes are that visitors enjoy all aspects of my property as much as I do. Learn more about this land: You can choose to set up camp in the meadow or near the gardens. In the meadow you will find paths that you can stroll through throughout the property where you can you bird watch and observe Wisconsin's natural prairie and vegetation. The open field area provides more room whether it's to throw a frisbee, bask in the sun or play some competitive yard games with your family and friends. Regardless of where you set up camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the secret flower garden or a nightcap next to the fire under the grape covered arbor while watching the night stars. Feeling adventurous? The Ahnapee trail is an old railroad trail that is now a hiking and biking path that extends from Sturgeon Bay to Kewaunee. The Ahnapee Trail is 1.5 miles down the road. Also located within miles is the Ahnapee River, which is ideal for canoeing and kayaking.

Spanning nearly 75 acres, this beautiful park offers a perfect blend of nature and recreation, complemented by an additional 20 acres dedicated to the Pepin County Shooting Range. With 16 well-maintained campsites, visitors can enjoy a peaceful retreat surrounded by lush landscapes. Before entering the park, we encourage all guests to familiarize themselves with our rules and regulations, which can be found in our ordinances. In 2021, the Pepin County Land Conservation and Planning Department enhanced accessibility by utilizing a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to purchase ADA-compliant picnic tables, an ADA dock with a kayak launch, and other essential ADA equipment. Looking ahead, in 2023, the Pepin County Land Conservation and Planning Department secured a DNR Grant aimed at upgrading facilities. Construction is set to commence at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025, bringing modern flush toilet bathrooms, showers, and improved drinking water access to the campground. Additionally, in April 2024, Pepin County approved the introduction of a camp host for the 2024 camping season, ensuring a welcoming and well-managed experience.

Really lovely environment! The cottage is perfect for 3 of us + our dogs. A nice reprieve from tenting! Outdoor space is large with firepit, table and some chairs. Rob was attentive with communications and making sure all was good. We would stay here again!

Highly recommend! Super clean bathrooms, A Frame cabin was clean and comfortable with mini fridge and microwave. We loved that it was dog friendly with a little park for them to play in. Will definitely be back.

I loved camping here for Labor Day Weekend! If you are camping in Door county this is a good spot. Just make sure you have a thick blanket or camping mat for the ground. There are large mulch pieces. It was very clean, pretty, and a great spot!

Weekend Trip to CAMP Door County!

We went tent camping here with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Very clean facilities and nice amenities. Plus it's convenient to all the door county activities we had planned. One thing I would say would have made our stay a little better is if there were an additional bathroom on the other side of the site. We stayed in a site that was on the opposite end of the property from the bathrooms and it was kind of annoying having to walk that far if we needed to go in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning when you really gotta go. I think even a port-o-potty would have been good.

Everything went well, I loved it, my Wife loved it and so did my daughter, she had so much fun on the playground, and the facility is immaculate. Clean clean clean. Big bonus, considering i have seen so many showers that were filthy. The owners absolutely care a out the people that come here and stay, that is the exact feeling my wife and I said to eachother. They think of many small and large details! They are still getting better and better and doing what they can to improve the site, what more can you ask for. 10/10 would recommend, in fact, i am going back up next weekend to stay again for a fishing trip with the boys!

Weekend Trip to CAMP Door County!

Great campsite! Very well developed and maintained. We were there during a terrible storm, the staff were so conscientious and caring of their campers...the staff found a temporary camper for a couple who lost their tent in the storm. How great is that! We will definitely visit Camp Door again! Thanks for a great experience.

Weekend Trip to HTR Door County

What a great stay! My family and I spent our weekend at one of the two bedroom cottages. The second room was great for our toddler while our dog spent the night with us in the main bedroom. It was great having a shower and toilet in the cottage along with all the other amenities. HTR handles trash and even delivered our firewood making things quite exceptional. The grounds have a pool and playground near by that helped keep our toddler occupied, but with HTR in Egg Harbor, you're right in the thick of Door Peninsula with easy access to so many attractions and recreational sites.

We didn’t stay very long but the host had incredible amenities with bathrooms and showers that were very clean and spacious. Easy check-in process and made sure we knew what site we were at prior to arrival.

Weekend Trip to CAMP Door County!

It was a quiet camp ground that is new so it’s incredible clean. The camp store stocked local and organic products which was a nice change. II liked that the campground was outside of town a bit as Door County can get crazy busy and loud in the summer. Spent some time at Bailey’s Harbor and enjoyed our time at Door County Brewing and Lakeside Winery. A great place to watch the sunset. We will be back,

We’re from South Africa, and this was our very first RV trip — and what an incredible introduction it was! Our stay at HTR Door County in the Premium Full Hook-Up Back-In site was absolutely perfect. The campground is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and well-equipped. A heartfelt thank you to JoJo, who went out of her way to lend us her personal hair dryer — such a kind and thoughtful gesture that meant so much to us. Her hospitality truly made us feel welcome and at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch camping experience!

Weekend Trip to HTR Door County

This is a traditional, close-in camp (spaces barely separated) that has been well used over the years but also well-tended. Good location in the middle of the Door County tourist area, close to many of the attractions that make Door County, WI a grat place to visit. The neighbors we met were friendly; those we didn't left us alone. Many small cabin and glamp tents, this would be a nice place to "home base" a family for excursions into the area.

HTR Door County was a nice campground with a well-maintained bath house and pool. We really enjoyed staying in our rustic A-Frame cabin and the location was close to shops and restaurants in Egg Harbor.

Nicely maintained campground with every amenity you might need/want. We went early in the week and beat the holiday weekend crowds. The campground was quiet and other campers were very respectful. The only down side to our site, was it was located right at the bottom of the drive behind the main building, and when the rains came, all the water flowed right down the drive and our site developed a small river through it. the fire pit took in some of the water and made getting a fire started the next night, difficult. It also made the main area of the spot pretty wet and dirty. Can't help a rainy day, but maybe some sort of way to keep all the water from running into a site? That was only the one brief downside to our stay. Would go back, just would ask for a different site.
