Our farm dogs patrol the property to protect our free-roaming animals, so visiting dogs must be well-behaved, leashed, and comfortable around other animals. If you're unsure about compatibility, please reach out for advice. Our dogs will come to your camp to "check you out". If your dog has a problem with other dogs that are new to them you must let us know so we can control our dogs. Our driveway has recently been revamped to include more flat parking and a less steep access route! While these improvements are great, we still caution our guests to avoid bringing large trailers and to use 4WD if available in an attempt to minimize rutting in the future. Seasoned hardwood firewood is available on site for $6/bundle. You are allowed to bring your own firewood, but only if you source your firewood locally because invasive pest species can travel in firewood. Possum Holler Camp is a Leave No Trace campsite, guests are asked to pack out anything they bring in and leave the area undisturbed. This includes damaging vegetation, creating new fire rings, or altering the natural area in any way. Also, please do not camp in the meadow area and only use the cleared out areas in the woods surrounding the parking and picnic/fire area for pitching tents. If you stay below the high water line, then feel free to move as far up or downstream Mill Creek as you like. The creek is indescribably beautiful in both directions! But please keep in mind that there is private property once you are above the high water line, please do not trespass on our neighbor's property.

Weekend Trip to Bluestone Camp & Retreat

Mark is a great host and communicator. He gave us clear directions on what roads are best for pulling a trailer. Our rv site was awesome as we were the only people staying here at the time. The sky was clear for amazing star gazing and this location is about an hour from New River Gorge National Park. T-Mobile home internet was “weak”, about 25 Mbps - but enough to stream a tv show. Verizon cell was about 2 bars and T-Mobile cell was 1 bar. One thing to consider when staying here is the road in is very steep - about 14-16% grade, so if you have more trailer than truck, you may burn up your transmission/brakes. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a funky little spot, don't be put off by the drive in. Mike has created a number (5?) of leveled gravel full hook up sites pretty close together, but very nice. Sweet communal fire pit right on a deck overlooking a little river. Fantastic bathroom with running hot water and shower! We would definitely camp here again. Thank you Mike.

Weekend Trip to Arrowhead Bike Farm & Campground

Absolutely love this place! I stayed on a Saturday in November, it was quiet so I can’t speak to busy periods. It’s a beautiful mixed camping space, uniquely designed with cool amenities everywhere from goats, libations, and food to bike rentals and a bike track. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, remote enough yet close enough to dining and the local town. It’s a gorgeous property with amenities and touches that most campgrounds can’t offer. I slept soundly beneath the stars, woke early, walked along the goats and enjoyed a warm shower in a warm bathroom. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the spring!

Excellent place to stay. I rented an RV pad close to the bathhouse for a chilly couple of days and it was clutch. The Bike Farm has everything you need; including firewood, a bar/restaurant, a bike shop and GOATS. It's also conveniently located near the town of Fayetteville and less than 5 minutes from the Bridge. Excellent stay during the down season.

Awesome little place even if it's snowing. Snow on the ground and the little rocket stove was great because we had no heat in the vehicle! Beautiful stream and the bathroom facilities are always a bonus even if outdoors. Everything was clean and inviting. The host was very responsive and had lots of ready to burn wood for sale.

The camp site was in a clearing along woodline in a secluded location. Very accommodating and scenic. I noticed each campsite was similarly situated affording privacy and good separation from the others. It was also extremely clean. The leaves had been blown clear of the path to the outhouse, which was well stocked with tp. The view of the nightsky was as advertised. I highly recommend this campsite for it's ease of access, beautiful location, and seclusion.

So calming and a good place to sleep! We were just spending the night but would be a great place to spend a weekend. Sweet cats greet you, also ducks and chickens. Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot available. Enclosed bathroom with shower and toilet inside. Great little diner down the road! Just be advised there is no signal there or the surrounding area. The wifi works well for the TV but not great for cellphones.

I'll just get these 2 negative things out of the way so someone else doesn't stay and give a bad review. Because it doesn't deserve a bad review, The place is Amazing, However if you're a light sleeper then a windy Autumn stay probably isn't for you because the leaves land on and slide down the roof and sides and its rather loud. Also something randomly flaps around on the roof in high winds making alota noise, The bed is super cozy, The place is very private and is just a relaxing environment to be in. Me and my Dog would stay again (Not in the Autumn 🤣)
