Secluded private site centrally located just a mile from Interstate 5, and 6 miles from the Interstate 5 / Hwy 205 intersection so most places in Clark County are less that 20 minutes away. Hosts are avid Flyboarders, Jetskiers, and Paraglider Pilots. There is an active sawmill onsite IES-Sawmill.com. There are hiking trails that go around the property and past the sawmill and log deck. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids. Some of the equipment is big, heavy, and doesn't have the greatest visibility if people walk up un-noticed. Always ensure that the operator sees you, and don't place yourself anywhere where a log that comes loose could run you down. Operating Equipment alwasy has the right of way.

Camp by river with tent, trailor or RV, RV "Boondockers" are welcome. Tour the beautiful Lewis river valley by horse back and ride into town for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Perfect first experience with horses for the kids, Erik is great with the little ones and makes sure everyone is comfortable and has a wonderful time. Kayakers and Paddleboarders will love the location, camping right on the 32 mile John Pollack water trail. The Quaint town of La Center can be your destination, an easy paddle, about four miles of natural wetlands and wildlife along the way. Four Directions Retreat

18 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents27 acres · Rainier, OR
Come relax and enjoy the amazing energy at Four Directions Retreat. We offer beautiful and shaded campsites and a tiny cabin that will be sure to please. We also have an amazing outdoor stage nestled at the bottom of a natural amphitheater that is perfect for a variety of entertaining needs. When not playing corn hole, disc golf or other yard games, our friendly little goats are known for putting on a show of their own just to get loves and scratches from our guests. Our beautiful property features a healthy 45+ year old Douglas Fir forest and a spacious meadow which is stunning in the spring with wild grasses and beautiful flowers. During the summer, you can take a break from the heat and relax amongst the huge ferns, Fir, Alder and Cedar trees and enjoy a variety of delicious berries found all over the property. You may also want to stretch your legs and take a leisurely walk along some of the old logging roads or give yourself a push along a forested hiking trail. Using mostly reclaimed materials, we built a stage great for entertainment (concerts, weddings, movie nights, etc... ), an outdoor event kitchen, and most importantly - the three composting outhouses strategically located to best accommodate our guest's basic needs. We also have a gorgeous Bathhouse available for a nominal fee to recoup the costs of waste disposal. Check out our 4D Full Property Booking if you are planning an event and would like a private place to host your celebration, gathering, or concert. Caterers love the outdoor event kitchen! We are happy to answer your questions and share our experiences with large events to help with your decision making process. The 4D Tiny Cabin includes a large space with a basic camp kitchen, fire pit, picnic table and space for a few tents (depending on size) for additional family or friends. We have 12 traditional camp sites that include picnic tables and fire pits that are spaced well apart to provide more privacy than you would ever get at a standard county, state or federal campground. Important to know: 1) A handful of the camp sites can accommodate up to 24 foot in length RV's and trailers pulled by a 4x4, camper vans, or trucks with campers. 2) Please reach out to us if you have additional questions about which sites would be best and why we insist on having a 4x4 pulling a trailer. 3) Also, overloaded minivans also have difficulties making it up the hill, but we can help. If that isn't enough, we are located close to many areas of interest. If you like disc golf, Trojan Park is only 8 minutes away. You can also jump in the water at a several County Parks along the mighty Columbia River which are about 10 minutes away. You can also take a dip in the picturesque Beaver Falls, a stunning 20-minute drive through the country followed by a short hike. If adventure "on the water" is more your thing, then you can always take a kayak around Scappoose Bay which is a 30-minute drive from 4D. Lastly, historic Astoria, Oregon and the Pacific Ocean is only one hour away. You can find out more interesting things about Four Directions Retreat on Facebook and TikTok.

Lis-Bon Acres 🥚🐝🐰

6 sites · Lodging, RVs10 acres · Amboy, WA
We purchased Lis-Bon Acres 🥚🐝🐰 over 11 years ago. Prior to our ownership, the property was home to a Christmas Tree farm for over 20 years. This 30+ year old reformed Christmas Tree farm seeks visitors looking to experience our hobby farm, learn about homestead practices, and enjoy our adventure. We have allowed the Christmas Trees to grow and have the property in Timber Management. We use our livestock to help with management of the timber byproducts. We are a working hobby farm and your stay allows for a tour, visits with our animals, and learning about small to large practices you can implement at your own home. Our current farm animals include alpacas, goats, a mini donkey, geese, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and our newest additions, two EMUS! Plus our livestock guardians and farm kitties. Plus we have an area for kiddo enjoyment that includes a ninja course, seesaw, teether ball, and volleyball net. Wander around the wooded areas and keep eyes open for wild rabbits, newts, and count the variety of birds you see. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about watershed management and habitat restoration. We are 15 minutes from access to boating, kayaking, or swimming at Lake Merwin. Several smaller to larger hiking options are short drives or take a country drive to explore the wonders of Mt. St. Helens' South side including the Ape Cave lava tube (24 miles) or Lava Canyon (34 miles). There are lots of historical sites to visit too. Nearby is the Cedar Creek Grist Mill and the North County Museum. A drive into Yacolt gets you to the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad then off to see the historical Pomeroy Farm. There is lots to see and do. Come spend the night on our amazing farm in the midst of our growing timber crop. The Glamp and Jack sites do not have access to electricity.

Snail's Pace Camp

2 sites · RVs, Tents13 acres · Kelso, WA
The property has served as a "family get-away" and restorative spot for years and continues to be such since our acquisition a few years ago. This campsite is quite secluded and peaceful. Please observe the rules that are intended to keep it pristine. There are references to the steep driveway in the reviews. In winter of 2024 a modification was made to the driveway making it accessible to 2wd vehicles. A locked cabin (work in progress) has a large covered porch overlooking the Coweeman River that is available for campers, complete with chairs and picnic table. The porch railing will not withstand leaning against or using as a footrest; thanks. The camp has a pit toilet and we are asking guests to extend its life by only putting poop and pee in it. Please burn your TP or take it out with your trash. There is a fire ring and a tub of firewood available (and refillable) on site for $10. Payment is through Venmo when you return to the electronic world. If you bring your own wood keep maximum length to 20" to keep fire/ash within ring. Wood gathering is not permitted. Please respect the trees; no carving, supporting hammocks, nails. There is a picnic table and chairs at the fire ring. Glass (bottles or glasses) are not permitted anywhere close to the riverbank as the risk of broken glass on bare feet is not worth the risk. Firearms and shooting are not allowed at our campsite, nor are fireworks. The country road, which is very lightly travelled, follows the river and is a wonderful 'trail' for bikes and hikes. Weyerhaeuser Timber Company owns the the vast tree farm in this area and requires a permit to access their land but we hike there (accessed just across the road) frequently and never see anyone. The river runs clean and pristine. Though not deep enough for swimming, it provides for a refreshing dip on a hot summer's day. It can be used for washing and bathing, and could be filtered/treated for drinking. A garden hydrant provides river water to the camping area, but use the 200 gallon source sparingly as I only fill it occasionally. There is no other water source on the lot. The next driveway upstream is also available to explore as it is a campsite under construction. There is a deeper swimming hole at this site that you are welcome to use. An inner tube will float you back down to the cabin spot. Moving rocks in the river (building dams, structures) interferes with the nature processes of waterways and fish spawning/habitat and should be avoided. Caution: The river rocks are very slick (think 'ice'). Use care when walking on wet rocks! Flotation vests are strongly recommended for kiddos. Feel free to explore the property but please be aware the stinging nettles and other various pokey vegetation exist in the woods. The setting is most private, the river lovely. This setting is wonderful for a quiet family getaway in the woods; it is not 'party' appropriate. Non digging, well mannered dogs are welcome (maximum 2) as long as their responsible owners clean up after them. Don't forget to bring drinking water, toilet paper (none is provided), fire starter (though our firewood is seasoned, dry and easy to ignite), headlamp, roasting sticks for them s'mores, water shoes and tromping shoes. The closest store for supplies is 11 miles (20ish minutes) down Rose Valley Road, a small country market with basics, and fuel. Disregard Hipcamp's statement that the camp is close to Seaquest State Park and Paradise Point State Park........they are both about 45 minutes away. Clarification on pricing. The base fee of $60 for weekends and holidays is discounted 20% ($48) for weekdays and is for 4 people. Additional guests are $10 per night, maximum 8 campers total. Cell coverage is nonexistent/weak, depending on carrier. Please plan accordingly and enjoy your time away from digital distractions. Enjoy!
