We are fortunate to live here, and we want to share the beauty with you. Please stay here and take a moment free of worry and free of hurry. About the hosts: Camas and her father, Randy, co-host this property. One or both will be onsite at all times should any issue arise. Please message if you need a last-minute booking and it appears to be blocked. We can't do an "instant book," but there's always a possibility that we can accommodate you. About the site: This 17-foot 2005 Jay Feather Ultra Lite trailer is clean and cozy - perfect for one or two people. A third person is welcome, but it will likely be a little cramped. The double bed has a memory foam mattress and is made-up with quality sheets. Towels are provided at no extra cost. The kitchen has a 3 burner propane stove and oven, a small fridge, a microwave, and sink. Coffee, tea, tea kettle, French Press, creamer, and sugar are provided, as well as a few dishes, a pot and pan, and utensils. The spring water is sourced directly from our property and filtered, so you can enjoy it from the tap! In my opinion, it's some of the best water around - feel free to fill up before you depart. The site is set back from WA-State Route 106, but only by about 20 yards. There is traffic noise during the day, but it's not too bad, and it is typically pretty quiet at night. Hopefully you enjoy the sounds of wildlife ~ birds, lapping waves, and even a creek add to the experience. A panoramic view of the estuary is one of the best parts of this property. It's dreamy, really. With the tide changing every 6 hours, you just can't get bored. You may fall asleep to tide flats and wake up to what feels like a lake. If you like being on or in the water - bring some kayaks, surf or paddle boards, and some high quality water shoes (never go barefoot!). You will have access to 400 feet of private beach and tide flats. Kayaking is tide dependent - recommendations for paddle times will be in the binder. (Currently closed to harvesting 6/23) If you have your shellfish license, feel free to harvest a few oysters or clams (depending on DOH recommendations) . Be aware - it is a rustic beach, and it is across the highway, so watch for traffic and watch your step on the beach. Our house is within sight of the trailer, but you have to make an effort to see it. From our house, we can only see the parking spot, and due to shrubbery & a shed, we can't hear talking voices, so it is pretty private. We do have 2 very friendly, small dogs who will undoubtedly alert us to your arrival, but they stay on our deck and quiet down right away. A welcome binder and maps will help you get an idea of the area. For a tiny town, Union has a LOT to offer - there are several dining choices within a few miles. I keep coming back here because i love to photograph eagles. The camper is so cozy and has everthing needed for a stay. It's also very clean and extremely safe for a solo traveler. Camas, the hipcamp owner, is the best!

10/4/2025-10/5/2025 We were looking for a night away to spend my birthday. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for us. This was better than any hotel we could have Chosen. The set up Is perfect. She put so much thought into making our arrival special. From the personalized note/instructions, the flowers, little patio over looking the water to the privacy fence to the easy access to the trailer. The host was very responsive and it was soooooo clean inside. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again!

Weekend Trip to Olympic Adventure Campground

We enjoy camping on John's expansive property. It is clean and orderly with better bathrooms than a national or state park! There is easy access to potable water, and a decent amount of space between sites for privacy. We have "tent" camped there a couple of times (we have sleeping arrangements in our vehicle), and we most recently rented one of their cabins for a night. It was clean and cozy. There are "glamping" amenities such as a heater, electric outlets, a microwave and comfy mattresses on the platform beds. The curtains provided privacy, and the porch outside gave us a nice place to sit and enjoy nature and light-hearted artwork. The property is close enough to the town of Forks and the junction at which to head to the gorgeous, pristine ocean beaches. The owners can be easily reached by phone when necessary. We will return!

We had such a great time at the Chinook Cabin at the Olympic Adventure Camp! John was so very nice and accommodating, as we got there late. The campgrounds are so beautiful, especially for this girl who came here from Ohio! The cabin is essentially a shed with a heater, a microwave and two cots but it fit our needs for the one night we stayed! Two people in our group said they want to make plans to come back soon!

The set up was really cute! I loved how many different options there were depending on what type of adventure you want. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. It had a little bit of everything and was perfect for our stay. My only complaint would be that I wish the water in the shower was warmer. The place had good heaters though so that made up for it. Otherwise it was a great place and I can't wait to stay here again.

What an incredible slice of perfection. Camas is an amazing hostess, providing beautiful flowers and welcome treats, fresh fruit from the property, and a safe van place to rejuvenate. The views were spectacular and I counted more than 25 birds during my stay. The final night, Camas was kind enough to let me know the bioluminescence were visible. Pure magic from the shoreline. This is definitely a spot worthy of visiting and returning to.

We had a wonderful stay at Pacific Dunes Resort! Our young twin boys absolutely loved the tiny house and the big sandbox at the center of the park, while our pup was welcomed with ease—truly a dog-friendly spot. The beach is just a short walk away and was absolutely lovely. We went in thinking it might be a little nicer, but considering it’s a campground with lots of sand, it turned out to be really great and just what we needed. The resort’s location also worked perfectly for us: close to Ocean Shores, and just a bit further to the beautiful Lake Quinault. Having the Green Lantern Pub and a grocery mart nearby made things extra convenient. All in all, it was the perfect weekend escape for our whole family. Highly recommend!
