The campsites are conveniently located near the front of my property for quick access coming and going. Fish and swim from the dock, or use the rowboat to fish anywhere else on this peaceful lake. No motorboats are allowed. Give the paddle boards a try if you’re looking to try something new. Glide over the lake with ease, in the single or tandem kayak. Conveniently located between Seattle and Tacoma, with Freeway Access, Restaurants, Shopping Malls, Movie Theaters, Puget Sound Waterfront Parks and Hiking Trails, All with in a Couple of miles. A path embraced by a rock wall and flowering gardens leads to an archway made of sticks that opens to the expansive open space of the back yard, Keep to the left side of the huge lawn until you see the opening to a short trail marked with a green light post. Follow the short trail to my private dock and secluded beach. Many water birds and other birds call this home. You may spot a great blue heron or crane as they stretch their wings for several minutes soaking up the sun. Keep an eye open for the bald eagles that have a nest in a tree at the shore. Osprey and Bald Eagles are often seen soaring above, before diving into the lake to catch a fish. The lake is stocked every May. The fishing is good here and the lake has a reputation for being especially great for Large Mouth Bass fishing. If you love to fish, then bring your fishing gear and pole. End your fun day with a relaxing bon fire on the beach or at your campsite Motorboats aren’t permitted on this lake, so it’s always serene and peaceful. No lifeguards on duty here. Swim at your own risk. Guests must abide by the lake safety rules. Enjoy a park like setting being surrounded by nature with the convenience of many nearby amenities. We are a one hundred year old family owned farm with an organic garden, Permaculture garden, an apiary, and Christmas trees on six acres. We have Horseshoes, Tether ball, Disk Golf, Corn Hole and a small library for you to enjoy. Early spring the frogs go crazy later followed by the sounds of nesting birds. Fall is the season for migrating birds that rest at the ponds next door. August is the time to fill up on blackberries. There are individual campsites with a barbecue and picnic table and a shared fire pit. The fire pit didn't see much use last two years because of the fire danger so we have moved it to an open area that will be safer and hopefully be open longer, there is also an area at each campsite if you want to bring a propane fire ring (or we will have some for rent). You can star gaze from the fields and the major constellations can be seen on a dark night. We are becoming increasingly suburban and there is some road noise that can be heard and even with farms on three sides of us, you still might hear our neighbors in the distance. Campsites one and four are across the road from each other and campsites two and three are adjacent to each other, perfect if you have another family traveling with you. The Washington State Fair is 3.9 miles/ 13 minutes away, Tacoma Dome 7.5 miles/ 18 minutes, Point Defiance Park Zoo and Aquarium 19 miles/ 30 minutes and Wild Waves water park is 15 miles/ 26 minutes away. There is a gallery of wild life photography taken on the farm displayed in the outhouse. Eagles, hawks and Ospreys are frequent visitors to our property.

Travelers and Visitors welcome - Enjoy a peaceful stay in a quiet, safe, upscale neighborhood with expansive territorial views of Puget Sound. Both sites are semi private , with 30amp RV outlets, sewage, and water spigots with hose. This space is ideal for a sprinter van, small RV, or a non- full size trailer 18’ or less. Trailers over 18 feet are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed, not on the property, and not on the street in front of the property. The neighborhood is low traffic for walking with fantastic Salish sea views, and a beach. Redondo boardwalk, aquarium, and beach is a short drive away for easy water access. A Starbucks, Grocery Store, Laundromat, and gym are a 1 mile, quick bike ride or drive away. The Pacific Bonsai Museum is 6 miles away, and a free experience that most visitors find surprisingly interesting. Sea-Tac Airport is 23 minutes away without traffic. I strive to live and promote a peaceful and inclusive space. Good Karma and good vibes are welcome. My neighbor has two outdoor dogs, so if you have pets it’s important to manage them to keep barking to a minimum. I work as a metal artist out of my garage studio. Welding is not noisy but, grinding and cutting can be. I limit it to 9-8pm, but can easily shift to other quiet tasks if you ask. * This is a safe neighborhood, but still an in-city experience, so be sure to secure you valuables.
