A creek to your right and chickens to the left, this camp is out in the rural country side on a couple acres. The creek is beautiful and you'll hear it from camp. In November the salmon come up to spawn so you might hear them splashing. The Centennial Trial head is about a mile away where you will find a long railroad grade paved trail excellent for biking and walking. There are tons trails in the North Cascades up the Mt. Loop Rd outside of Granit Falls which is just 15 minutes north of camp. These are also hiking and mountain biking trails at Lords Hill Regional Park 15 min from camp or up the highway 2 corridor. Enjoy downtown Snohomish's restaurant scene and breweries, or head over to wine country in near-by Woodinville. This site can accommodate up to a 40' RV and there is plenty of room for tents too. There is water and a 50 amp outlet, plus a regular old 20 amp plug in. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles. Our home is about 50 yard away. We will be out tending to the chickens and building our garden space. Maybe riding bike around with the kids. Our dog puts on a guard dog act but really just wants you to throw a stick for him. Dogs are okay but they should be on a leash to keep them off the road and out of the chicken coop.

A 15-20 minute walk takes campers to a swimming hole in the cool Stillaguamish river for a dip or a paddle. Even closer is Whitehorse Regional Trail (great for biking, walking and horseback riding) built on the bed of the former BNSF railroad through the North Stillaguamish River Valley, spanning over 27 miles. The nearly level trail meanders through the valley, rewarding visitors with picturesque, landscape views of forests, farmland, streams and rivers, and mountain vistas. Sites have a generous fire pit and access to a Porta-Potty. For bathing I recommend cool dip in the Stillaguamish River. In season there is also fishing, snowshoeing, concerts at the blue grass festival grounds, a rodeo, and so much more.

Our guests can enjoy being laid back, play music, stay up late, have a couple cocktails/beers and just let the air out of tires, so to speak...Our campground is perfect (we think!) for large groups of people that want a beautiful space for an event, like receptions, family or school reunions, work/corporate campouts, Church events, etc. where you can book the whole campground for yourselves. Or, there are three individual sites you can choose from and book separately on our campground. Two are by the river with wide open view of the river. The third has two entrances, big space, and secluded under a couple of big maple and various other trees without view of the Sauk but has a short and easy path to the river. Drive a little further and you'll find an open area site that also has two entrances. It has a nice wide view of the river with access to the river. It also has an established campfire pit there. The first campsite (the first campsite is the furthest one down) is very secluded as well. Driveway drops down to this site and delivers ample room for a few cars and tents, or rv's. There's a camp trailer down there as well...nothing fancy but we occasionally use it. The electrical needs hooked up and the bathroom hooked up in it. But if you're sick of the rain in your tent and want to get out of the rain, it's there. All three sites are very different from each other. We and the property were introduced to HipCamp last year by another HipCamper. and it's a diamond in the rough. Once you go past our shop and the industrial mechanical views and continue down the driveway it turns into a whole different scene. You'd never know that you're within city limits. Just out in the wild. We're still working on the property to maximize the property's potential. We love this property for its closeness to nature and beautiful scenery! There's lots of diversity in plants, neat rocks all over the place! It's a relaxing getaway and yet close to town and its amenities, including North Mountain Bike Park..

A creek to your right and chickens to the left, this camp is out in the rural country side on a couple acres. The creek is beautiful and you'll hear it from camp. In November the salmon come up to spawn so you might hear them splashing. The Centennial Trial head is about a mile away where you will find a long railroad grade paved trail excellent for biking and walking. There are tons trails in the North Cascades up the Mt. Loop Rd outside of Granit Falls which is just 15 minutes north of camp. These are also hiking and mountain biking trails at Lords Hill Regional Park 15 min from camp or up the highway 2 corridor. Enjoy downtown Snohomish's restaurant scene and breweries, or head over to wine country in near-by Woodinville. This site can accommodate up to a 40' RV and there is plenty of room for tents too. There is water and a 50 amp outlet, plus a regular old 20 amp plug in. There is parking for up to 2 vehicles. Our home is about 50 yard away. We will be out tending to the chickens and building our garden space. Maybe riding bike around with the kids. Our dog puts on a guard dog act but really just wants you to throw a stick for him. Dogs are okay but they should be on a leash to keep them off the road and out of the chicken coop.

Welcome and Hello! We'll be OPENING the FIRST WEEKEND of MAY!! There's the after every winter campground road cleanup/maintenance. Our guests can enjoy being laid back, play music, stay up late, have a couple cocktails/beers and just let the air out of tires, so to speak...Our campground is perfect (we think!) for large groups of people that want a beautiful space for an event, like receptions, family or school reunions, work/corporate campouts, Church events, etc. where you can book the whole campground for yourselves. Or, there are three individual sites you can choose from and book separately on our campground. Two are by the river with wide open view of the river. The third has two entrances, big space, and secluded under a couple of big maple and various other trees without view of the Sauk but has a short and easy path to the river. Drive a little further and you'll find an open area site that also has two entrances. It has a nice wide view of the river with access to the river. It also has an established campfire pit there. The first campsite (the first campsite is the furthest one down) is very secluded as well. Driveway drops down to this site and delivers ample room for a few cars and tents, or rv's. (More on RV's in this listing).. The view of the river is beautiful there and the site features two separate coves on the river. There's a camp trailer down there as well...nothing fancy but we occasionally use it. The electrical needs hooked up and the bathroom hooked up in it. But if you're sick of the rain in your tent and want to get out of the rain, it's there. All three sites are very different from each other. We and the property were introduced to HipCamp last year by another HipCamper. and it's a diamond in the rough. Once you go past our shop and the industrial mechanical views and continue down the driveway it turns into a whole different scene. You'd never know that you're within city limits. Just out in the wild. We're still working on the property to maximize the property's potential. We love this property for its closeness to nature and beautiful scenery! There's lots of diversity in plants, neat rocks all over the place! It's a relaxing getaway and yet close to town and its amenities, including North Mountain Bike Park..

Weekend Trip to Poulsbo Hidden Creek Hideaway

Absolutely marvelous in every way. The tent set is sturdy and cozy, the bed and futon are comfy and warm, the yard is expansive and despite being within site of the residence, it is and feels private. The fact that we had the field to ourselves too was wonderful for my two dogs. There was plenty of room to run around and sniff, and bc the property is so peaceful they were comfortable enough to relax in the yard off leash. Charnie is as wonderful a host as her property is a place to disconnect and relax. Her communication is impeccable and she is very accommodating and welcoming. Lessons learned: - Pack less! Charnie really does provide so many essentials, and the hill that you have to walk down is a decent hike so I will make my life easier and bring less stuff next time. - Cook simple things. The stove is free standing (as opposed to being built into a hearth) so heat escapes fast meaning you’ll need more wood to keep something consistently hot (like the stew I decided to make - could have used to the propane stove though). - Buy my own wood along the way. I ended up pilfering through Charnie’s family stock quite a bit for cooking and heating, next time I’ll bring my own to lessen how much of theirs I have to take. - the cooler is big! I used three 3lbs bags of ice for two nights. - stay three nights next time! One full day is not nearly enough time to get the most out of this wonderful set up!

Weekend Trip to Grace E.’s Mini Forest Cabins

I decided to take my partner to grace’s cabins for a little birthday surprise get away. It was an amazing time, our cabin was very cozy. Everything was perfect, and the land that the cabins sit on is just beautiful in the morning time! I couldn’t recommend a place any more than this one. It’s a great place to come if you wanna just get away from all the hustle and bustle :)

1 night at Clear Light Valley Retreat

DeAnn is simply amazing and so is her gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 story cabin! I highly recommend this place to everyone who loves being outdoors or in, with a spectacular view of the mountains and a creek on the property! We absolutely loved the wood burning fireplace that warmed both stories perfectly! The couch is super comfortable and it reclines as well! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and if it’s not there, you can run to the store 10 minutes away or DeAnn might even offer it to you if you ask! She is honestly the sweetest, generous, kind, friendly woman I’ve met in a long time! She makes you feel at home in every way! My kids and best friend can’t wait to go back, we miss it so much already, 2 days wasn’t enough at all! Thank you, DeAnn for being the nicest person on earth, and for blessing us with a super late check out for my son’s 21st birthday! We can’t wait to see you again and look forward to the hike down to the creek together again, what an amazing memory!

This is our first rv spot rental through hipcamp and Lacey’s spot is just as described. A creek on one side and a quite delightful hen house on the other. We appreciated the kindness shown by Lacey and her family. The chickens were some of the most beautiful and well cared for that I have seen. Would def stay again.

Weekend Trip to Huckleberry Holmes

The camp site on Paula’s land was exactly what I wanted! Located near the foothills of the Cascade range, you get all of Mother Nature with just the right amount of modern amenities. While there is snow shower in the winter months, there is a toilet and potable water available. Highly recommended for a tent site if you are looking to get away from the crowds. P.S. although I didn’t stay in the cabins, they looked very cozy and modern!!

Absolutely an amazing time away from the real world. From walking around on the trails to sitting next to the fire pit, it was great to get away with my dogs. They had a lovely time out, and it was very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway, and we plan on staying again in the future!

Cute cabin and beautiful views! Good communication and instructions from host. Just make sure to bring a lot of wood if you’re staying in the winter and for more than one night. The wood burning stove is the only heat source so if you plan to relax at the cabin you’ll need quite a bit!

A wonderful stay. The site is gorgeous. There's a really nice mountain scenery that can be enjoyed directly from the comfort of the living room. There's a wood stove that creates a great atmosphere and helps keeps the cabin very warm. As a bonus, theres plenty of wood to chop outside if you'd like to try that. (There's also already chopped wood so it's not necessary to do it). De Ann was a wonderful host and stopped by to say hi. She was very accommodating to our schedule too.

What a fantastic spot. Valhalla Tree Farm is the perfect place to unplug and get cozy. The off-grid cabin was simple and comfortable, and the propane heater kept us toasty the whole time. Even with the water shut off for the season, everything was easy to manage, and the covered fire pit meant we could still enjoy a fire while it sprinkled most of the trip. Shannon was super helpful and responsive, and we loved being able to wander the property and let the dog run around off-leash. The backdrop of the escarpment is beautiful and makes the place feel extra special. Honestly, I’m almost hesitant to hype it up too much because I do not want to fight for dates next time. We’ll be back!

Weekend Trip to Camp Keyser Forest Camp

Second time staying here, and it’s one of my favorite local get aways. You feel so secluded, but it’s only 90ish minutes from Seattle. Bed is ridiculously comfy, and it’s a great way to reset off grid. Lots of great hikes nearby, too. It’s definitely cosy, so recommend preparing food in advance so you can easily cook without tripping over each other. You’re close to a highway so you’ll hear car noise, but it doesn’t bother us at all. The lane is quiet and a great walk with the dog in the am to see the cows

The cottage was so lovely and had everything we needed! It’s a beautiful property with such fun goats and peacocks. There was tea and coffee, dishes, and utensils available for use. The bed was very comfortable, and it was the perfect getaway.

Weekend Trip to Valhalla Tree Farm

The cabin at Valhalla once again proved to be a wonderful autumn destination to relax amongst the trees, listen to the babbling stream, soak in the sun atop Look Out Rock and cook up some good food around the campfire. I can't say enough good things about this place, it is really an oasis of calm.
