It is recommended you check the flight schedule for dates and times the jets will be flying. Depending on the direction they happen to be flying that night, it can get quite loud. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

We have a gorgeous covered area and deck with propane mini BBQ and bench seating, full water and 30 amp power hook-ups, and beautiful views of the surrounding farm fields and a one hundred year old barn (PLEASE don't access the barn area or fields, it's not ours but the views are great!) Lots to do around the area, including Finnriver Cidery, hiking in the Olympic Mountains and the Victorian town of Port Townsend. We now have decent wifi you can use, so option to come and work remotely! (Unfortunately we don't have tons of space for kids or dogs to run around, but definitely plenty of nice grassy area to set up tents, yard games and a campfire). Our site includes wifi, picnic table, and potable water. Campfires (outside of a burn ban) and pets permitted! However we do have free-roaming chickens (ask us about fresh eggs!) so leashed up or chicken-friendly dogs please. Guests love staying here: "Gorgeous spot to sit, relax and take in the sunset across the farm fields before tucking in. We visited for one night with a 10.5’ tall camper van rented from Cabana, which fit easily under the shelter with plenty of clearance. The shelter itself is a great spot to get outside and eat a meal, and the rocking chairs in the yard were chill too! An occasional loud truck will go by on the nearby road, but not bad. We slept fine. Walk to Finnriver Cidery for dinner (yum)"

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life. Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping. Vital Farm is 25 acres of waterfront property on Clear Lake, WA. 18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only, but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use. There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats, but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use. You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies. *This is a working farm so while often you will have the property to yourself and other campers the owners may be present, occasionally, to work on farm projects and property maintenance in the periphery. We will always be respectful or your space and keep our projects to reasonable hours. There is a gas station, coffee shop, public beach, over 21 restaurant/bar and small store within walking distance from the property too. My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home. The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.

Nice place to stretch your legs and unwind! The dogs appreciated the extra wiggle room. Only 8-10 mins into the heart of Port Townsend. As noted in the reviews before, the RV spit is right off the road and there is noise but we didn’t find it to be an issue.

We had such a great and relaxing time here. The site is wonderful and had full hookups. The animals are awesome to watch and interact with. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We had a great campfire going that the host made for us. We ended up having the whole area to ourselves, which was extra amazing. We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay on Ronnie's land. The site was large and private. We stayed in our camper van while visiting friends in Port Townsend during the Wooden Boat Festival. The place was easy to find and not far from town. We would stay there again.
