We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there.
A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet.
There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good!
There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there.
There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home.
Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

Our place is only about 45 minutes from Seattle. Why not pack your tent and sleeping bags then drive here after work, then leave in the morning.

We had the most wonderful, peaceful stay here. I visited with my daughter, and we both absolutely loved it. Getting to see the beautiful horses on the property made the experience extra special. The environment is quiet, scenic, and relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable. The sauna and rainfall shower were my favorite. Also it’s a plus to have the hot water kettle, get for our tea and hot chocolate. Very little packing was needed.

This was a great spot! A little sketchy with a trailer, but mine was wider and longer than what normally camps back there. Once I made it back there the rv spot was awesome. Surrounded by nature, beauty, and it was so peaceful. Dave was a great host and I would highly recommend this spot. Maybe more for tents, truck trailers, camper vans, and small trailers. Mine was an 8' x 23' travel trailer.

10/10 recommend!! I camped with a group of 6 at Campsite 2 and we loved it. It had a very peaceful creek and bridge, a shelter with a picnic bench, fire pit with logs, and trash can with a bad, and even an out house (with a roll of tp as an added bonus)! Dan also provided us with a bundle of firewood for free! The site was walk-in but super quick and doable (maybe a 30 second to 1 minute walk) and had a wheelbarrow to help move things to the site. We had such a lovely time and hope to come back again!!!

Weekend Trip to The Landing At Lake Ploenta
My husband and I had an amazing time in our little “Fern Gully” and would highly recommend it. It was so fun fishing off the shore and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very thoughtfully put together and the attention to detail really stood out. The bedding was really comfortable and the tent had such a homey feel. We will absolutely be back and could not recommend it enough.
