(In some of the pictures you will see the horses in the area of the camp, but whenever there are campers they will not be turned out there.) There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience. We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival. * We require a completed profile with a picture before we accept a booking.

I travel for a living and this has to be my number one spot. It’s a safe location and the views are breathtaking. Nelda is absolutely amazing host and I would recommend this to anyone. I had a grill to cook on, power for the cold nights and plenty of room to roam and hike. 10/10!!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Traci and Khris's property. All the communications after we made the reservation were clear and directions and instructions simple. Traci was there to check us in and help get set up. The property is beautiful and quiet with horses and chickens nearby. We stayed there in our travel trailer while doing a kitchen remodel nearby but look forward to going back when we can relax under the beautiful trees around the firepit! Definitely recommend!!

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!

2 nights at Misty Meadows Adventures Mt.Rainier

We enjoyed Steve Sarah's location. They have a beautiful property with a large area for r30-ft trailer and the view of Mount Rainier is excellent. Steve was on site and attentive during our stay and we felt very safe leaving our trailer. The campsite is far enough from the road where the road noise was not an issue. There was a very clean portelet on site. We would stay here again.

We had a very nice stay on Ronnie's land. The site was large and private. We stayed in our camper van while visiting friends in Port Townsend during the Wooden Boat Festival. The place was easy to find and not far from town. We would stay there again.

Weekend Trip to The Back Four at Dun Tun

Fantastic site with a wonderful owner, very spacious for setting up tents and having a good time hanging out. Bathroom was a canister toilet in a wooden structure, the toilet is regularly replaced and cleaned out. Very close to a lot of locations to drive and explore. The animals are very cute as well, which is a huge plus. Overall, would recommend to anyone for a quiet and calming experience.

3 nights at The Hoopla

The campsite (#4) was secluded and right next to a beautiful path that led to the ocean. The kids had a great time making structures with sticks. Great variety of shade and sun, which in the night offered great night sky views. There was even a place to hang our hammocks. The rooster could use a lesson in evaluating the brightness of the sky before he sounds off, but we knew what we were getting into with chickens nearby. :)

2 nights at Camp Forever Young

The hilltop retreat was a great spot to camp for me and my preschooler! Simona was a helpful and responsive host and we enjoyed getting to meet the animals on the farm (well, I did even if my kid was mixed about it!) Having the tent, hammocks, and grill made it pretty easy to enjoy the getaway while being out under the stars at night.

Elizabeth was very friendly as were her 4 pigs who came to visit us throughout our stay. If you are looking for a farm experience, this is it!. Cows, goats and pigs. Elizabeth is very friendly. You are staying in a pasture for an authentic farm stay.

Highly recommend this camp! I had a great time and the site had amazing views. Perfect location for visiting the national park. Steve & Starla were both great and very responsive. I did the beekeeping class and I’m so glad I did. Their passion for sharing their bee knowledge and offering the experience is amazing. I was camping alone & felt safe! I will definitely be back 😌🏕️

Large 14x9 tent nestled in the forest. This tiny campground has only one (or two) other tent sites. Shared outhouse with clean composting toilet. Shared kitchen space with all cooking and eating essentials. Shared fire pit and outdoor shower are a short walk away.

Weekend Trip to Two Frog Bog

We enjoyed our stay in the tent at Elona's place! We were there with two young kids and they had a great time. The tent was large enough for four of us to sleep comfortably. The amenities (kitchen, grill, toilet, shower) were a huge plus especially with kids. Elona and Jim were easy to communicate with and responsive. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from there and like the quiet and peaceful stay. Highly recommend this place!
