This magical, 40-acre, cultivated ecosystem, will wrap around you and leave you enchanted. Enjoy this peaceful, country retreat, as a place to rest and reconnect with the earth and yourself. This is a great place to stop for the night, but one day might not be enough to meander the many paths, drink tea harvested from the herb garden, sit on a bench talking to ancient Maple trees, walk the stone labyrinth, wander the sacred Grove, and camp under the stars. There's so much to enjoy here, from the fragrant rose gardens to the orchards and sheep meadows. Spend the morning sipping tea with a book in the greenhouse, an afternoon wandering the many wooded trails, preparing dinner with vegetables grown from the garden, and enjoying the evening watching the moon and stars come up from the observatory platform. You could take a guided tour of the land and animals, or join one of the many workshops hosted here, such as learning to spin yarn from our herd of Icelandic sheep or take an introduction class to Permaculture. Bring your knitting, friends, or just a favorite book, and spend a few days in this tranquil destination, as this land has something to offer everyone. Please NOTE: This is a working farm, we have animals, dirt, sticks, bugs, poop, and lots of opportunities to "connect" with Nature. All of our amenities are shared spaces, designed to foster community. You will find signs posted around the property with clear communication. All of our lodgings are off-grid with no electricity or running water. Water, electricity, and WIFI are available in the shared kitchen, garden, cafe, and lounging areas. Please bring battery-operated lights, bedding, and a pillow, unless otherwise noted. Come stay in our beautiful safari tent and experience our flower farm and old-growth Maple Forest. Located in the heart of Olalla near the Colvos Passage waterway, a ferry ride from West Seattle, 20 minutes from Tacoma, and near the quaint town of Gig Harbor. Last year we upgraded to two queen sized memory foam beds!! Lovely 100% cotton sheets and cozy blankets will keep you nice and comfy on those cool nights. Two extra twin sized cots are available to rent in the "Extras" section of the listing.** You will feel very secluded on our 5 acre property. Our parcel is partially wooded and partially cleared for our flower farm. But it adjoins neighboring properties that have an additional 20+ acres that are totally wooded giving the feeling of being further away from civilization than you are. Enjoy an outdoor shower on the edge of the woods with on-demand hot water. You’ll also have your own custom made steel fire pit with fire wood available for purchase (or you can bring your own). We have an outdoor picnic table as well as a table inside the tent for late night card games. There's a lovely little bathroom with a composting toilet and a sink with running water. We allow up to 6 people (absolutely no pets) and request that parties respect the limit so that our composting toilet can keep up with the demand with minimal servicing while you are here (to maintain your privacy). Please contact us to set up a time for a guided tour if you are interested in seeing the farm up close. Please no U-pick or tours without guidance. We’d like to make sure to point out that there is convenient and dedicated parking for campers but the camping spot is about 200 feet from the parking area and over uneven ground. A cart is provided for unpacking your vehicle. Because it is very dark here at night, we would request that campers arrive before dark to safely find their way and unload with adequate light. Things provided: Weather proof tent, two queen sized beds and bed linens, outdoor and indoor tables chairs, solar-powered lights, composting toilet, firepit, outdoor shower with hot water, parking for 2 cars. NOT provided: Extra bedding or sleeping bags (for the rentable cots,), cookware, dishes, power of any kind, ice or food.

Lawnacres is a 20 acre farm that focuses on enhancing wellbeing through the presence of horses and nature. The Bunky itself is a converted horse stall in one of the barns on the property. The glamping space is approximately 10x12, with a queen size log bed and wide rustic cedar plank flooring. The “stall” to the north houses an outdoor shower and sauna. It’s about a 30 foot walk to the outhouse. The stalls to the south are usually used by horses during the day, but they sleep in a different barn at night. Guests are free to amble about the acreage, which has a stream, a wooded path and some wide open meadow. Need some quiet time to get to that writing/art/journaling project you’ve been dreaming about? We have a 20x20 outdoor platform that’s ideal for your yoga/meditation practice. Give yourself the gift of your own personal retreat. We’re located about 40 minutes northeast of downtown Seattle, 15 minutes from Woodinville. It’s a perfect escape from urban life with just a short drive. Because we have horses, chickens and dogs (as well as visiting deer and coyotes) we don’t allow guests to bring their own animals.

At 180 acres Glendale Farm in Chimacum, in operation since 1857, is one of the largest single agricultural properties remaining in Jefferson County. The farm includes prime agricultural soils, over half a mile of East Chimacum Creek, and forested areas. The easement protects a buffer zone for salmon and wildlife habitat along the east fork of Chimacum Creek and protects the agricultural and forestry values of the property forever. Jefferson Land Trust and collaborative partners purchased the easement to Insure Glendale farm maintains agricultural practices and wildlife habitat forever! Please be aware this is a working farm with poultry, livestock, and the use of farm equipment providing a great experience for farm life. Glendale farm experienced a devestating loss in 2022, the primary residence burned down, and since then has been going through an extensive cleanup from an extreme hoarding situation. We recommend using shoes at all times as we are still in the process of combing the grounds for glass and possible sharp objects. You can expect to see old farm equipment, some derelict Rvs, and material debris which we are raising funds to remove. Please be patient with us as we continue to improve the site with future showers, a comunal kitchen, and improved landscaping. The Glendale Farm is 1/4 mile walk to and from FinnRiver Farms, where you can enjoy cider, beer, live music, delicious snacks each and every weekend! you can check out their seasonal events. if you want organic produce and locally raised meats it's just a bit further ( 200 yards) to the Chimacum corner farmstead: https://www.chimacumcorner.com If you love music on a magical summer afternoon with delightful chamber music its 6.5 miles to Concerts in the Barn. see the schedule here: https://www.concertsinthebarn.... if you like long walks on the beach at sunset head over to Fort Flagler state park. We are located just outside Duvall, WA. Our Dome features one Queen size bed and one couch that converts to a bed (slightly smaller than a queen). Premium linens, extra blankets, comfortable seating to relax and enjoy the quiet on the farm. There is a sheltered kitchen with hot and cold running water, cook burner, refrigerator and seating with a portable firepit. There is also a nearby fire ring with comfortable chairs to relax in the evening. We have a beautiful Bathhouse with composting toilet on one side and clawfoot tub for showers or soaking on the other. Being eco-friendly there are a few quirks to be aware of - the toilet facility doesn't allow for toilet paper. We provide clean cloths to use in conjunction with the bidet seat (a bath for your posterior) and a pail for the used cloths. The methane that is generated is filtered and trapped for the cook burner in the kitchen. The closest trailhead is 3 miles away and leads to Cherry Creek Falls.

There are many other trails and parks in the area to explore. Duvall also boasts a winery, distillery and brewery and a large variety of dining options.
