🏕Our Camp is situated on about 5 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and Semi-Privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.
Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193, you are very close. Our camp will be on the left.

🚻There are 5 restroom pods that stay open for our guests to use 24/7. Hot Showers: $5.00 per guest, in 3 of the restrooms between the hours: 7am-7pm Summer. 8am-6pm after summer.

We are located in the great northwest, near Forks WA, 8 miles off Highway 101 on State Highway 110 (La Push Road) 5 miles from La Push. 9 miles from Forks.

Less than 10 min from the property you will find the Dungeness National Wildlife refuge - access point to the Dungeness Spit, the Olympic Game Farm, and a Saturday flea market. Heading west from the farm 20 minutes you will find the accommodating Port Angeles, beautiful beaches, and the ferry to Victoria, Canada. 40 minutes west from the farm is Lake Cresent, the Hoh rainforest, Sol Duc hot springs, and so much more! Heading 20 minutes East from the farm you come across the quaint town of Sequim, John Wayne Marina, 7 Cedars hotel and Casino. The lovely Port Townsend is 40 minutes east from the farm with a ferry that will take you to Coupeville (famously known for the movie Practical Magic). Thrift shopping and estate sales are a regular find all around us, as well as fun spots to dine and all the Dungeness crab you can eat!
We have a 2019 Minnie Winnebago under a covered spot on the farm with full water/power/dump hookups. We can also accomodate additional campers needing a dry spot or tents as we have two level horse pastures. We have a sweet little orchard with pears, apples, plums and cherries, all up for grabs when they are on the trees! The garden is massive and boats Raspberries and black berries galore, which we happily share when in season! Come stay with us and enjoy all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer in a quite and private location! There are two dogs living on the property along with 5 goats and 20 chickens, loving animals is a must!

Our private Campground is centrally located on the Olympic Peninsula.
We are a Campground, we are not a Hip Camp, we just advertise through them. Paying for extra days or rentals, wood, propane fire-pits, are done at pay station at Campground or by calling the office.

Just a 20-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean and a 20-minute drive to the straits of Juan de Fuca.
Just a one-hour drive from our site to Cape Flattery, short hike down to a rocky viewpoint overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tatoosh Island, which is the farthest NW Point in the Continental US!
We have sites with beautiful river views, 9 walk-in sites, and 12 drive-up sites. 4 of the walk-in sites are river views 4, 5, 6 and 8. The drive-in sites with river views are 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 21.
There are more sites on the other part of the Campground.
The Fish Hatchery is right next door and has a boat launch, beach, and lots of fishing.
The river at the Hatchery is great to float on, fish, and just play.

This is a dry camp.

We are the first left, just after the guardrails. Down the gravel road some 75 feet, turn right at the "Ranger Creek Campground" sign and follow the unimproved road about 100 feet to the campground. Campsite 4 is the first one you'll see, further down the road campground 1 is on the left, campsite 2 is on the right, campsite 3 is strait ahead. Please respect the privacy of the other campers.
In the rainy season the road in can be slick.
Four Wheel Drive vehicles are recommended in the case of large amounts of rain, or snow.
Not recommended for RV's or trailers over 15 feet.

We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.
Helpful Hints: If you are traveling from the South side of town: We are only a Half Mile from the Northbound Edge of town on the Right. If you are traveling from the North side: Watch for milepost number 193, you are very close. Our camp will be on the left.

We have a 2019 Minnie Winnebago under a covered spot on the farm with full water/power/dump hookups. We can also accomodate additional campers needing a dry spot or tents as we have two level horse pastures. We have a sweet little orchard with pears, apples, plums and cherries, all up for grabs when they are on the trees! The garden is massive and boats Raspberries and black berries galore, which we happily share when in season! We are the first left, just after the guardrails. Down the gravel road some 75 feet, turn right at the "Ranger Creek Campground" sign and follow the unimproved road about 100 feet to the campground. Campsite 4 is the first one you'll see, further down the road campground 1 is on the left, campsite 2 is on the right, campsite 3 is strait ahead. Please respect the privacy of the other campers.
In the rainy season the road in can be slick.
Four Wheel Drive vehicles are recommended in the case of large amounts of rain, or snow.
Not recommended for RV's or trailers over 15 feet.

Great campground - always a fresh layer of crushed gravel to keep things dry and level. Easy access, solid cell service and a woodsy setting near town. I’ll be back!

Our stay here checked all the boxes.
Perfect location for an Olympic rainforest adventure. Host was very responsive and accommodating.
The river sites are worth the extra money, the view is awesome. Sani Can was super clean.
The sites are close together so not too much privacy if it’s peak season, but we were there in December and had the place to ourselves.
Would recommend!

Wandering Woodlands is a cute, cozy campground! We booked for a last minute getaway - easy to book and host was responsive to my questions. While this campground is best suited for car camping, we were able to maneuver a dually pickup with an 11 foot slide-in camper into the site. A great spot to base camp for exploration of Forks/La Push and the many beaches close by. Thoughtful touches by the host include a group bonfire/picnic area, a few games and a short trail.

2 nights at Wandering Woodlands
We loved the twilight dome!! such a cute way to camp. We saw chickens and deer in the evening and took a walk by the cows in the morning. Camping was really quiet. We played games in the evening in the dome. This time of year is cold in pnw so bring extra layers!! The host is so sweet!! Thank you!

Great spot! We stayed at site #1 and it was lovely. Such a beautiful view. Fire pit and ample space for cooking on our camp stove. Did the beach walk the next morning and loved the flat rocks all over, great for skipping :) wish we could’ve stayed another day

The view was amazing from Site 3. The space was large and well maintained. Bathrooms was clean! The path to the beach was a nice adventure down a small hill and across the flat river rocks to a beautiful beach. We would definitely stay here again!!
