Beautiful mountain views and open skies, perfect for star gazing. Quiet and close proximity to Deer Park Campground, Olympic National Park, Olympic Discovery Trail, and Hurricane Ridge. Some of the local recreational opportunities include hiking, biking, fishing, whale watching, beach combing, or just plain good ol' relaxing. Closed October 1-December 1. Site 1 East Meadow

Elizabeth and her husband were very welcoming upon arrival, greeting us with warm wishes. They had nice facilities and their property was beautiful, with enough space for privacy at each site. Elizabeth was responsive with some noise concerns after hours. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again!

Site 1 East Meadow

A great place to camp! Close enough to everything, but far enough away to be peaceful. Great views and beautiful sunsets!

Site 2 West Meadow

Perfect spot for star gazing! Host gave us a s'mores kit upon arrival, a nice surprise. You will see other campers from all the other site's however, but at a distance. If your looking for privacy, just situate your vehicle accordingly. We enjoyed our stay.

Site 6 Northeast Meadow

Beautiful views and huge campsites

We spent three nights at Frog Creek Meadow. The views of the Olympic range were amazing, and the sites were very far apart. Great location for stargazing with incredible views of the Milky Way. If you are a hiker, this Hipcamp is not far from the Deer Park Trailhead, which is a beautiful hike. There are two incredibly clean porta potties on site. Recommend bringing a canopy so you will have some shade if it is a hot day. I would definitely book here again. Thanks, Elizabeth and Don!

Site 4 Northwest Meadow

Camping under the stars!

We absolutely loved our stay on Elizabeth's property. Elizabeth and Don are wonderful hosts. We were greeted upon arrival with a smore kit and they asked is if we needed anything during our stay. This is a great site for a few overnights if you're looking to be close to Lake Crescent, Port Angeles, and Salt Creek Recreation Area. The stars were absolutely stunning at night and the property was quiet not near a main road. There are about 7 - 8 campsites on the property with plenty of space in between for privacy. We will definitely be back :).

Site 5 North Meadow

Don and Elizabeth were great hosts! Don met us at the meadow and was extremely kind and even gifted us a s’mores kit. The site itself was very clean and their land was immaculate. If you plan on going during the summer, I highly recommend bringing a canopy since there isn’t any shade there. Sites were spread out far enough so it felt semi-private. We’ll definitely come back!
