🏕Our Camp is situated on about 5 acres of Dense Enormous Evergreen Forest in the Olympic temperate rain forest region. It is next to the road on Highway 101 but still offers our guests the wilderness experience and Semi-Privacy with tall trees surrounding the camp. We recommend that our guests use GPS to find Forks, WA, First. Once you find Forks, you will be able to find our camp.

3 Secluded campsites are nestled among cedars, firs, hemlock and maples. Site 1 & 2 have a 2 Night minimum stay, Site 3 has a 1 Night minimum stay. Tents only, no vehicle camping/trailers or pets please. Community firepit has chairs, with Free firewood (‘a curated selection of site-grown firewood’ may include: cedar, fir, hemlock, cherry, madrone, etc). The nearby Tent Shelter features cold water, a picnic table, countertop for indoor/outdoor food prep and dining, along with trash cans and a camp stove. Sanican is a short walk from the tent sites.
We have lovely Woods with sculptures and artwork created from materials found on the property by our friend Pete. We also have Gardens to wander in to support your sense of peace and connection.
Safe, secure, private, scenic. Please have no more than two people and one vehicle per site. There is no electricity available in the Tent camping area.
This is NOT a party camp space. We are a place for peace and quiet where you can enjoy the woods. We are also not suitable for children (if you have tweens/teens, message us). We have too many "attractive nuisances" for young children to be safe.
You're staying on a 7 acre, mostly forested parcel, 1/4 mile from Hwy 101, mid way between Port Angeles and Sequim, WA. Some traffic hum, but not much, and it varies depending on how the wind is blowing. We're 3/4 miles East of the Deerpark entrance to Olympic Natl Park, 4.5 miles East of the Main Olympic National Park Wilderness Information Center.

Located 10 miles west of Port Angeles on the scenic Highway 112. This is a small farm homestead with geese, chickens, and Flynn the farm dog. Backed by a forest of cedar trees and a creek running through it, there is plenty of privacy for campers on the 10 acres. There are several common areas should you want to visit fellow campers. Several areas have fire pits and mobile fire pits can be delivered to your camp site.
This is a “meet and greet” campsite where I place you according to your camping needs (remote/close to facilities, Rv/tent, size of party, etc). I have to be on site at your arrival, so please keep me informed of your expected arrival time.
Note: I love hosting campers with dogs. However, I have had two sheep put down due to attacks by guest dogs. My very friendly dog has been attacked by guest dogs. I no longer have sheep, because I won’t endanger them. You need to verify that your dog is not aggressive.

There is also one spot for a camper van with electric and water, however there is parking for three vehicles so more than one camper van is possible. The electric is 20 amp service. There is a gas hot water shower available to all campers. There is access to the Bluff overlook with a spectacular view and a fire pit. Firewood is provided. There is a trail going down from the bluff to a private Cove. The trail has steps carved into the hillside and a rope railing so it is very accessible.

Freshwater Bay Park is one mile East and Crescent beach is less about a 15 minute drive. Lake Crescent is about 20 minutes away. The two campsites are set back in the trees behind the house but there are views of the Strait from both campsites. Full signal WiFi at 30-50 Mbps. There is also one spot for a camper van with electric and water, however there is parking for three vehicles so more than one camper van is possible. The electric is 20 amp service. There is a gas hot water shower available to all campers. There is access to the Bluff overlook with a spectacular view and a fire pit. Firewood is provided. There is a trail going down from the bluff to a private Cove. The trail has steps carved into the hillside and a rope railing so it is very accessible.

Olympic Adventure Camp is an excellent choice for campers in Forks. The camp site is clean and was very quite, even for being close to the highway. It was close to town, and close to tons of sightseeing and adventures. Check in was super easy, camp host was responsive when we called to check in. Van camping in the Nook at Elwha was quiet and peaceful! The hosts were super accommodating of my last minute vehicle change and helped me find a place that would fit a large campervan. The bathroom was warm, which was perfect for showering after a week on the road, but also a bit far from my campsite (an oversight on my part). I’m not sure if this is normal, but both porta-jons near me were locked- didn’t have a chance to ask the hosts about it since I was mostly away during operating hours. Having WiFi was a nice surprise, which helped me stay in the loop about events planned at the fungi festival.

This was our first time using Hipcamp and we had placed Shangri LaPush on our favorites list a while ago and decided it was finally time to go! This place did not disappoint! Dale was a wonderful host and very welcoming! The bathroom was clean and warm in the chilly weather, and our camp site was clean and spacious for our setup. We loved that it was dog friendly (we travel with our fur pups) and equipped with a doggy poop trash can. We used the water from the well spigot a lot and even the kids had no problem getting the water for our camp. We saw some beautiful stars in the night sky and enjoyed the view of all the gorgeous trees. We did hear some road noise but it wasn't bad and it honestly did not take away from our experience whatsoever. Very good location close to Forks, the beaches, and some quick convenience stores. The whole family agreed we will be coming back to make more great memories here!
