Forest camping on a huckleberry farm with a salmon stream. 10 acres of permaculture and mycology includes 5 granite fire pits and loop trails with dispersed tent sites. A remote island, naturist beach and kayak at the creek. Parking is limited. Guests love it here: "We stayed two nights at Curley Creek Canyon and loved the experience! Jerrett was a wonderful host and met us upon arrival with great recommendations of places to explore on his beautiful property. The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. Thanks, Jerrett for the experience and look forward to our next visit!"

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site available Memorial Day to Labor Day. We look forward to hosting you!

The *Purple Cottage* -- was found & salvaged (recycled!)-- moved onto the back of my property in 2012. This 16 X 12' place has been my studio in the past, but has offered overflow for friends & ; family. Nestled in the woods and ever-so-private, the cottage has a pull-out double futon, plus a small sleeping loft and can accommodate 1 -2 nicely (we will consider 3 if you have a small child, but it would be a tight fit!... There is a very small sleeping loft in the cottage.). There is a “en suite kitchen in the cottage that has a small fridge, microwave, and two burner stovetop cooking unit. The cottage offers privacy in a wooded garden setting. The bathhouse, with hot shower, vanity and; toilet --are all steps away (and covered) from the main cabin. The Purple Cottage sits on a shy wooded acre, with greenbelt buffers all around, maximizing the sense of privacy. our vintage Shasta Trailer across the driveway of the Purple Cottage is currently used as a music studio (and rarely as family/guest overflow), and I have my own small Artist Studio located also on the back of the property. Even with all the little enclave of buildings, The Purple Cottage retains a private feel all to itself, with reliable Wi-Fi available at the cottage. . It is located in a quiet little neighborhood, about 6 miles from Langley & 6 miles from Freeland.. Private beach access is across the road and a 15 minute walk up the street, where you can beach comb & explore the shoreline out at our little point. The private deck off the side of the Purple Cottage offers views of the gardens & flora, and has a little gas barbecue. There is also a delightful hot tub on the deck, which is a wonderful feature. An outdoor kitchen on the edge of the woods allows a roomier “camp cooking” experience with Colman stove & cold running water (season permitting). We are located 6 miles from the picturesque town of Langley and equal distance from Freeland, on the south end of Whidbey. Our area is very *bike-able* and either direction will get you to town! The Purple Cottage offers a rustic retreat in a place that feels far away, but is an hour & a half from the bustling city of Seattle!

There is a gazebo for shade and a large concrete slab with a picnic table for you to enjoy. To the right of the gazebo is a grass landing that has room for a few tents. Just behind that grass landing is a fire pit that can be used when fire bans are not in affect. There is also a RV pad with electric hook up. There is a 6 seat swing to take in all the views, a gazebo for shade and a large concrete slab with a picnic table for you to enjoy. There is ample space for tent, car, or RV parking. There is power and a honey bucket for your convenience. There is NO running water, you will need to pack in and out your own water, food, and trash. To get to the river there is a trail to the right of the property that is public land, along with the trails to the river. It's just a short 5 min walk to the beach. The water can be really cold and swift so please be careful and mindful! All of the properties that are along the river are privately owned. There is no noise restriction or curfew as you might find in a camp ground. There also multi use trails for humans and small off road vehicles. They are friendly and watch for pedestrians as far as we have experienced. Warning⚠️ friendly dog alert! Reedus is the nextdoor neighbor’s dog and has lived off leash all of his life. He is very friendly even though he looks big. He just wants to say hi. If you aren’t dog people or are afraid of them this might not be the property for you.

This will be an odd review because I have not been to the site yet. I made a reservation for earlier in September but then had difficulty getting my van back from an up fitter. I could not make my previously paid for reservation, but Barb has been absolutely terrific!! I stayed in touch with her and let her know what my troubles were and she has been an angel. I will be getting there within the next three days, Lord willing, and I am certain beyond any doubt that my stay there will be extra extraordinary. These are class ass people. Camped here in our tent trailer. The Shady Grove spot was nice and fairly private from the other areas. They have their campground well laid out and kept nice. Grass is green and well kept in each site.

We love camping here so peaceful, private and relaxing ! Terry and Barb are great people and host they make you feel welcomed and make sure your stay is everything you wanted. The coyote cabin site is great for a group or just a family . Cabin is a wonderful added feature to hang out in or have family sleep in . Make sure to stop in and see Barbs art it is beautiful and get a thing of the honey so delicious.

The tree farm is a favorite of ours. We know from experience our stay will be relaxing and trouble free. We appreciate the attention from Barb and Terry on check in and don't feel they're intrusive. They were very responsive to text when we did need wood. Our 30 trailer fit with ease in Cedars. There is plenty of room to pull in and turn around. Additionally, ample room for two trailers. There was a good mix of sun and shade in August. Our trailer stayed in the shade while the grassy area was sunny. Quiet. Peaceful.
