Nestled at the foothills of Mount Rainier, we are a serene farm 45 miles away from Seattle, 36 min drive away from the Mt Rainier Carbon River entrance, 1 hour from the Crystal Mountain Resort, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Sunrise Visitor Center.
I live here with my partner Khohay who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now ran by his brother on Whidbey Island).
We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go!
AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on.
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.
-WIFI is available closer to the communal area.

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
Jenel and Khohay were very communicative hosts! It’s very clear they put a lot of love and character into their property. We loved the farm fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning and would highly recommend the sauna as an add on! We enjoyed waking up to the rooster “roostering”, the sheep walking the path near the tiny house, and feeding the goats! The deck was lovely for making s’mores and we appreciated having the outdoor fireplace. The layout of the tiny home was really comfortable and cozy. The puppies were a huge highlight of our trip and were absolute sweethearts as well and it was nice to love on them in the communal bunkhouse.

Staying at the Sweetheart Cabin was the PERFECT autumn weekend getaway! It was stormy and rainy outside a lot of the time, but that just made the cozy cabin even better with the wood stove, string lights, candles, and blankets. The cabin as well as communal spaces were clean and everyone was so kind. They said that the number one rule was that we felt at-home :) Thank you so so much Jenel and Khohay, my partner and I had a beautiful time at your farm <3

Mary and Lloyd truly have such a wonderful property and were incredible hosts! The stay was cozy, beautiful and most importantly dreamy. This was the perfect locations for an engagement trip for my fiancé and I. The views and the incredible outdoor tub was the icing on top. We will absolutely be back again to enjoy this magical location.

Our stay was even more magical than we could have imagined. The drive up felt like we were in Jurassic park (in the best way possible) and the views were insane. The cabin was cozy (heater included!) and the toilet and bath were extremely clean. Mary and Lloyd thought of all the details from a cute handwashing station to bath amenities (towels, soap, bath salts). We loved getting to know them and their sweet pup Leo. Thank you for the great stay! When we come back to the PNW we will definitely look to rebook.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sweetheart Cabin for a night during our first trip to rainier and it was excellent! Khohay was super friendly and talkative and an amazing host. The cabin was super comfortable and cozy. We heard elk at night too which was super cool! Definitely recommend for anyone trying to escape the city and explore Rainier and the surrounding nature.

Weekend Trip to Secluded Ridgeline Retreat
Its like a scavenger hunt to make it to the cabin which was so much fun! The road was very passable for our low-profile sedan. The property and view is absolutely stunning!
The tiny cabin felt plenty roomy and the decor was quaint and the bed was so comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine and the sunset on the AMAZING cliff's-edge patio before taking a nice log soak next to the most beautiful view you'll ever see! Its like a dream. A bucket-list experience, for sure! We woke up to a rain and lightning storm rolling through and it was great laying in bed and watching it through the glass door.
The hosts, Mary and Lloyd, were beyond kind helpful and hospitable. They even brought us coffee and homemade muffins in the morning!
The outhouse was clean amd smelled great. Everything seems brand new. The park was so close but we wish we had more time just to enjoy the cabin, bathtub, and landscape. We even asked about coming back the next weekend but they were booked. Multiple friends have asked us where the cabin is and how to book; the pics are that amazing!
Please love and respect this place. Its so special and even as it blows up in popularity, I hope it stays the slice of absolute heaven it is now🩷

This place is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend the experience enough! The quiet and seclusion make it a perfect place to relax and getaway. The location is close to the national park for good days hiking, and far enough where you can easily get away from all the crowds and end the day soaking in a sunset view with perfect outdoor secluded bath. In addition to all that, the hosts are the nicest and most hospitable people ever. Great location, great property, and great people!

Mary and Lloyd (and their dog Leo 🐶) were such welcoming hosts! Their property was spectacular and the set up allows for the most gorgeous views from the deck of the tiny house and bath house. The bed is very comfortable and everything was clean and very well maintained. They have WiFi, power, outdoor path lighting, and a selection of hiking guidebooks for visitors. If you’re going to stay here, be sure to make time to enjoy the tub at sunset or under the starry sky. It’s quite an experience!
The road up the mountain is well maintained, but steep. It could be a challenge if it’s wet, but we had no trouble with our rented camper van.
We will definitely stay here again if we ever end up in the area!

You cant go wrong with a tiny home, in the vicinity of mount rainier, with cute animals! my partner and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Khohay’s Farm. It was a highlight. We could see the beautiful stars and have a quant little getaway.
The hosts, Jenel & Khohay really made it shine though. They put so much work into the farm, and their animals are so cute! I’m talking goats, sheeps, pig, and chickens!!

I stayed at the Sweetheart cabin & it is just the cutest!! Located at the top of Jenel & Khohays beautiful farm, you get such an amazing sunset. Lots of goats, 2 of the cutest puppies & a pig!! While the farm is amazing, Jenel & Khohay are even moreso. Both so welcoming and sweet. I couldn't recommend staying with them more.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Jenel and Khohay's property - spent one night in the Sweetheart Cabin. We loved spending time with the animals, picking cherries, and relaxing on the deck listening to birdsong. Our hosts greeted us, showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The cabin was comfy, cozy and well set-up, and the outhouse was clean and very convenient to the cabin. We really appreciated the communal kitchen and bathroom space, had an amazing send-off breakfast of fresh farm eggs and espresso. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved this tiny house! It's in a neighborhood but has a fence which provides privacy and allows for a stunning mountain view!
I liked how the host left snacks for us and had a water filter in the fridge!
It was well stocked including a French press, keurig, tea kettle, hot plates and cooking utensils. Having a fridge and microwave were also nice.
The full bathroom was great as well - it was nice to take a hot shower after hiking.
We loved it! Would absolutely stay again!
