Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area.
We've spent the following years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer multiple listings - the cottage, a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.
We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Located in Naches Heights among orchards and vineyards, Cowiche Canyon and hiking trails adjacent. (Please note: Although we are a permaculture farm, we are surrounded by both conventional and organic agriculture.) Close to White Pass and the Tieton, Naches and Yakima rivers. The cabin (Cathaus) is part of our local agricultural history. It was built by my grandfather to house migrant workers during apple picking season and that is how it was used until the late 1980s. It is not fancy, but it is cozy. Filled with books from local authors (Raymond Carver, Justice William O'Douglas, etc) and on local topics including tribal and labor history. Goats, alpacas, chickens on site. Free range cats. Wineries next door. Brewery closeby. Close to town but peaceful and quiet. Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.
There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains.
There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear.
There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available
Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night.
Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect)
Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :)
Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun.

If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away.
Winter time campers are welcome too!
Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.
Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us.

We have noticed an influx of owners that do not let us know and show up with dogs as we need to go over additional information. There is no additional fee but since we have livestock roaming freely around the property, to ensure their safety, long leads are highly encouraged especially if dogs do not have exceptional recall. -There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. -There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending from Enumclaw to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. We have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

The campsite sits on a spur off a residential driveway, separate from the main home. You’ll have your own defined space and privacy, but you may occasionally see or hear light activity from the property, such as when cars travel the driveway. The campsite is about 150 yards up the driveway from the main road, which is a good distance, but some road noise might be noticeable. There is also a pasture with horses about 50 feet from the campsite, so please keep this in mind if you bring your furry friend.
Speelyi beach on Lake Cle Elum is a 2 minute drive away. The town of Roslyn is 5 minutes away. The Last Resort is just up the road which offers e-bike and watersport rentals. There are numerous hiking trails for every ability within close proximity. So much to do! Or, you can chill out in a comfy chair at the campsite and read a good book.

A 2.5-acre riverfront cabin is the perfect escape and only 35 miles from Rainier National Park and a short drive to White Pass Ski Area. Property also has direct access to thousands of miles of state and federal forest land and trails.

As you enter through the front door, you're greeted by a warm and open living space. The family room features a dramatic stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and a wall of windows so you can view the mountains and the river. Living room furnishings include leather couches, ottoman (cot inside), and coffee table—perfect for game night. There's also a 70” Smart TV in the living room (bring your Netflix and Hulu credentials and pick up where you left off), Wi-Fi, Polk Audio Surround Sound System. Full forced air heating and air conditioning for the perfect climate.
Next to the living room and centered in the house is the custom kitchen, featuring granite countertops, stove/range, toaster oven, coffee maker, Keurig, wine fridge, Mixer, pots, pans, dishes, and all your cooking essentials.
The dining area is furnished with a large dining table, chairs, and a bench. The table expands for more seating with 2 extra chairs in the bedroom closet.

We had a lovely stay after driving from Montana. The orchard setting in this valley really beautiful. There are some organic items for sale. We bought some honey, jam and catnip. There’s a winery a short walk away if you have time. If you on Hipcamp you’re probably expecting rustic and this spot delivers.

Weekend Trip to Yakima Beach
The cabin and outdoor area were so sweet, I would have loved to stay much longer if I hadn’t been on my way to somewhere else. The small offerings (oracle cards, book collection) made me feel like the host must be a kindred spirit. I hope to be back again for a longer stay!

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
Jenel and Khohay are so so sweet. And their little cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me to relax and enjoy some alone time. The farm fresh eggs were yummy and I loved staring out the back of the deck on the sheep’s and goats roaming around the property while listening to the gentle babble of the brook. The space might be tight for two people, especially in the winter if it’s cold and you don’t want to be on the deck which functions as an extended living space.

This spot was amazing! The wild flowers were in bloom & the access to the field was perfect for my dogs to get their energy out while not endangering them. There is a creek that runs the back side of the property that was really cool. Don't let the size of the trailer intimidate you! Its small, but was perfect for 2 large adults, 1 GSD, and 2 small dogs. The bed was spacious and adequately long enough for my 6'2 partner to stretch out. Candida met us when we got there and gave us a super quick run down, and even provided a complimentary bag of ice.

It’s our third time staying here but our first time at Birdy. Loved being greeted by Pluto and Sun. Our 2 year old loved Birdy! She’s been wanting to ride on a bus. The surroundings are lovely and the mattress was comfortable. It is a very basic set up but we were aware of that. Will be happy to return. Thanks so much!

This property is beautiful! The cabin is rustic but really comfortable. Maria has it well stocked with lots of interesting books. Camping in that area can be challenging because of the nightly wind, so I'm glad I found this place. Short drive to hike at Cowiche canyon which was where I was going. The whole vibe was really nice, I dug it.

Paul welcomed me when I arrived and shared some stories about the development of the camp and his future plans and how he handfed three baby geese that are now residents of the pond. Jenel and Khohay were very communicative hosts! It’s very clear they put a lot of love and character into their property. We loved the farm fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning and would highly recommend the sauna as an add on! We enjoyed waking up to the rooster “roostering”, the sheep walking the path near the tiny house, and feeding the goats! The deck was lovely for making s’mores and we appreciated having the outdoor fireplace. The layout of the tiny home was really comfortable and cozy. The puppies were a huge highlight of our trip and were absolute sweethearts as well and it was nice to love on them in the communal bunkhouse.

Staying at the Sweetheart Cabin was the PERFECT autumn weekend getaway! It was stormy and rainy outside a lot of the time, but that just made the cozy cabin even better with the wood stove, string lights, candles, and blankets. The cabin as well as communal spaces were clean and everyone was so kind. They said that the number one rule was that we felt at-home :) Thank you so so much Jenel and Khohay, my partner and I had a beautiful time at your farm <3
