Offering a lovely, personal campsite area surrounded by beautiful trees nestled in the back of a ranch with horses (and chickens) just on the outskirts of the small, charming town of Yelm. (In some of the pictures you will see the horses in the area of the camp, but whenever there are campers they will not be turned out there.) There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience. We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival. * We require a completed profile with a picture before we accept a booking.

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. We had a wonderful experience staying at Traci and Khris's property. All the communications after we made the reservation were clear and directions and instructions simple. Traci was there to check us in and help get set up. The property is beautiful and quiet with horses and chickens nearby. We stayed there in our travel trailer while doing a kitchen remodel nearby but look forward to going back when we can relax under the beautiful trees around the firepit! Definitely recommend!!

It’s very private since we were the only campers that time we stayed there. I definitely would like to stay there in summertime . The caretakers did way beyond what. We expected . Weekend Trip to Glacier Rock Wellness Ranch

This property was calm, clean and offered us privacy, nature, a place to cook, showers and a hot tub. The camping locations are spread out and we didn’t mind the quick stroll to reach the various amenities. It took us about little more than an hour to visit Mt. rainier and offered a view on the river as well. We hope to come again.

The grounds were very well maintained which made the stay even more enjoyable. It was our first time camping so we definitely overpacked but the site made everything easy and comfortable. I booked site 3 because it is a bit more secluded which was perfect for my reactive dog, luckily we were the only ones there. The guy who showed us around was super nice and chill and checked in often which I really appreciated. My dog was barking at him and I felt super bad about it but he was chill about it and i’m appreciated that. The overall vibe was peaceful and relaxing. There were plenty of animals roaming around which was pretty cool (a little creepy at night haha.) If you are looking for a quiet and well kept spot to camp I would definitely recommend this place.

This spot was exactly what I needed for a night as I was just passing through. The drive in was stunning going through Mt Rainier. The host greeted me when I got there and gave me the wifi password. I took the spot with the electrical outlet and was assured that the security cameras didn’t point at my site. Overall, felt safe & unbothered.

What an amazing and memorable trip! John was so accommodating and welcoming. The site was very well maintained and you can tell John really takes time to make sure his guests feel comfortable. My 3 year old had a blast and our dog has been sleeping for 2 days because he is so tired from all the fun! It rained our last night but watching the thunderstorm was magical. We had a great relaxing time camping here. The hammock near the horses was great, and the forest we camped next to was beautiful. The farm dogs and cat were very friendly, and we really enjoyed having Traci and Khris introduce us to the horses, teaching us more about horses in general. The outside shower was a bonus too. We'll hope to be back.

This is a peaceful, private, beautiful spot to set up a tent. We were given clear and accurate instructions, and the owners were kind and attentive hosts. Very nice tent spot. Super private and pretty. We arrived really late and had a lot of trouble finding where to go. Thankfully, someone came out and helped us even though it was 2 in the morning. They definitely did not need to help us so late as it was my own fault for arriving that late but they did and I am ever grateful.
