We are a Nature Retreat bordering Nature Conservancy land along a tributary and up and down the Rappahannock River. You can hike along the stream down to the river and up and down the river. You can fish and float the river. There are no trails so a moderate level of fitness and comfort in the forest is needed.
You can follow the water ways but it is wilderness. Camping there is primitive but available or you can camp or glamp at Earthwalk Ways Retreat. We are also adjacent to a 50 acre farm on the other side of the creek that is available for hiking. There is a reservoir nearby as well.
We are in the midst of the suburbs not far from Fredericksburg, which has some great historic and community places of interest.
Our facilities are private and we only rent to one or 2 guests at a time. You can glamp in a trailer, or car camp in a nice campground with power and water or you can go primitive and pack in. All spaces include access to our classical 11 circuit labyrinth and backyard gardens where you can enjoy zen rock garden and other contemplative nature crafts. There are some great extra's here as well including an outdoor jacuzzi and indoor infrared sauna and massage chair. These spa features are another great way to get your zen on here. I offer Forest Bathing and individual retreat support sessions, an quarterly sweat lodge and also vision quest support if people would like to experience a solo nature immersion feast.

There is a free dump site at Breeze Farm Recycling Center located at 15950 Cobb Island Rd. ,Newburg MD {approx. 1.5 miles away} that is open 9am to 5pm on Monday ,Wednesday and Saturday only. Please remove your own trash when you check out. This RV site is located on beautiful waterfront acreage, surrounded by lush trees and is within biking distance to local restaurants and Cobb Island MD. Large open acreage site surrounded by trees with a private pier. Enjoy the 100-foot pier with fishing, swimming, and use of our 2 kayaks on this quiet inlet leading to the Potomac River. Please bring your own life jackets and water shoes.

The farm animals and the farm fresh eggs were much appreciated. It was too cold to explore but the campsite met our needs for a one night stay. It was a bit tricky backing into the site. Rodney’s communications were excellent. The area looks like it would be lovely when the weather is more hospitable. We should have taken advantage of the offer to dump our tank as the Camping World didn’t honor the Good Sam perk of free use of the septic dump.

We spent 2 nights tent/rooftop tent camping on the property and we had a great time. I checked in and was directed to the camp area where I was able to pick a spot near the main road, in between the grape vines or near the pond. I chose a spot near the pond. The land is decently hilly so you may be limited to where you set up camp if a level spot is needed. The spot we chose was fairly secluded. We did have farmers drive by on tractors a few times but other than that we didn’t see anyone else. The brewery was also nice to have within walking distance. We stopped by and grabbed a few drinks and hung out in a shipping container they converted into a small building part of the brewery. They had 6 packs and cigars you can take back to site. During the day time we walked down to the farm animals where they had horses, cows and goats. As mentioned in other reviews it’s not the most quiet place to camp. Dogs are barking and geese are quacking throughout the night so be advised if you are a light sleeper. The property is also close to gas stations and a home depot if you need to run up the road to grab supplies. Overall, we had a great time and would be open to visiting again!

Our family of 4 and a pup had a great overnight stay! We really appreciated Rodney taking time to introduce our kiddos to the animals when we arrived. We had no issues and would definitely stay again! Bring blankets if you’re coming on a cold night!

The place is amazing! Me my wife and our fur baby loved everything about the place. It has a rustic vibe surrounded by farm animals and wild life! The only thing I would have changed was we didn’t stay long enough! The fresh eggs were amazing to have for breakfast, wish I would have got more than just a dozen. And Rodney, the host was such great guy. You have your own little private spot to just sit back and enjoy. We will definitely be coming back in the short future to see the horses, goats, and other animals again.

The property was very nice for my overnight pit stop and I'm sure it would be enjoyable for a longer stay. I was a little confused of where to go when entering the property but once I found the pond I was comfortable knowing I was in the right place. The 1.5 mile stretch of road off the main road is a little tight if you're full legal width but that is not a reason not to stay here, just a heads up, and no fault of the host.

Wow!!! My friends and I all loved this site, we'll definitely be coming back here, might not go to another site again. Easily accessible from DC, and the environment was absolutely perfect. Overall a decent stay. The staff at the brewery were confused about check in but we got it sorted out. It was in the colder season so we had a lot of privacy which was really nice. We enjoyed the ability to hang at the brewery/vineyard with other campers and we appreciated bathrooms available after hours. The butter beer and white wine hot apple cider were just what we needed that chilly night. Would stay again but my only complaint was it was hard to find a flat spot to set up. We found a decently flat spot but since we were sleeping directly on a mat on the ground we were shifting/sliding all night- prob would’ve been fine for a RV camper though.

This is a beautiful place with lots of space. We didn't have time to try the wines, but the beer at 1781 brewing (on the property) was excellent. Staff that we interacted with was very friendly. There are horses, chickens, geese and possibly cattle on the property, along with a beautiful pond. Although you can hear the truck traffic on Rt 3, it's not too bad. We had a quiet night to ourselves and the sunrise over the the grapevines was just extra.
