We spent 4 nights at this little paradise and are already planning to return. The direct access to the river and the amazing wildlife was quite the treat. Kingfishers, Osprey, Turkey and dozens of great songbirds were beautiful to see and here. A very peaceful retreat and the host is wonderful. Thank you Graham for sharing!

Absolutely an amazing spot. Secluded, but you know Matt is just down the road if you need him. Was great to meet and he let's you do his thing while at the same time you know he is available. Loved that I could just park my car and unload my stuff and didn't need to haul anything more than a few feet. Stream/river is just a quick hike down the path and is just beautiful and peaceful. Wish I brought my rod. Not a lot of prepared wood, but there was plenty of natural wood around to keep the fire going, so no complaint there. I'm sure if I asked, he would have processed some for me. But it wasn't necessary. Absolutely would/will stay again.

Graham was a wonderful host. When an issue arose he and his wife were incredibly responsive and helpful. I really appreciated how much they cared about their campers having a great trip. The site was great, we really enjoyed our time, and our puppies loved playing in the river. Only note is I probably wouldn't recommend hammock camping at this site. There were plenty of trees, but were all located on a slope, so might not be the safest for a hammock.

Very well kept site with ample summer shade and a short walk to a nice spot on the river. Mostly level and mostly private space with the house about 100 yards away and barely visible through the trees. Great firepit setup. Would definitely be back.

Me and Mason loved camping at Graham’s land! The river was nice and surprisingly no mosquitoes when we stayed! It was perfect sunny and shade under the trees near the river. My GPS - Apple Maps kind of led me to a different spot but I just looked around at the street numbers and then once you get to the right drive Graham has signage for HipCamp which was very helpful. The site was private and clean! Graham came down and brought wood if we needed it and said hi! Great experience and would camp again!

We thoroughly enjoyed opening our 2025 camping season at Private Paradise, Site 1. It's a beautiful and spacious site with easy access to the Robinson River. The site came equipped with a nice picnic table, custom built fire pit, and firewood (sold on an honor system). We saw plenty of birds, frogs, toads, and even a few snakes! It was a lovely spring weekend on lovely site. We'll definitely be back!

This is a beautiful, private site. Matthew was a great host. Our favorite part was the bluebell patch we saw on the walk to the river :) Will definitely be returning!

We had the best time at site #4! The water is crystal clear and refreshing, and the easy access made it that much better. You can see the other campers, but the sites are spaced far enough apart that we never heard them. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

What a great spot! I camped with my four person family (11 and 13 year old kids) and everyone had a wonderful time. we were in a spot a bit away from the others, but even if we weren't it would have still seemed quiet overall. close to town and a store or two for groceries or supplies yet still feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. We used this as a quick stop over on our way to Tennessee and wish we had more time there! Thank you!

Great little spot that Matthew has! Very private for the most part and has a short scenic walk to Hazel River. Firewood provided was a very nice touch and overall campsite was very accommodating. Would book again!

We had a great time camping in site #3. It's more open then the other sites but worked out great for us. The scenery is very pretty and there was still plenty of privacy. Would definitely visit again!

Our family loved camping on Graham's land! The site is perfectly situated next to the large, clear river - with easy access from site 1. It was easy to find with little hip camp signs and the family was extremely nice and welcoming, even bringing us wood the first night. Really recommend this site!
