Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($11) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). We provide a walkie-talkie that reaches the owners home, to be used in case of any emergency. The cabin is powered by a solar panel that provides electricity for the water pump and the cabin’s interior lights. The kitchenette has a two-burner gas cooktop. The main heating source is a wood stove, and the fire wood is on site for the guests to be used. The nearest country store is nearby, in historical Village of Belmont with picturesque Star Lake. (As of June 2023 the Belmont General Store is closed due to renovations being conducted under the new ownership) The Historical Village of Belmont has its own museum, library and a post office. Please note; The entrance to the land is private and gated and there is no entry without the owner’s presence.
