One of the oldest properties in town the Day Homestead (as it is known) dates back hundreds of years and our house was built in 1810. It was run as a successful trout farm of 70+ years. Learn more about this land: We have two sites on our historic Vermont trout farm.  The first site sits near our post and beam "run in" horse barn.  It's a very flat site with easy road access and has 30 AMP electric service and we can provide potable water to fill up your tank. The second site sits a little further back (also very easy access) and closer to Quation Brook. It is better suited for boondocking as it is a little ways from the 30 AMP outlets. Again water is available. Our farm is very rural but close (2 miles) to interstate 89 with a well stocked country store in town. It's a  quiet setting near the gardens and a small stream. Dave's farm and his hospitality are both so appreciated. The property is serene and cozy, but has all the amenities you could ever want. The site is easy, even for a newbie like myself to pull into. Dave is easy to reach if you have any questions as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Overnight Stay at Dave’s Farm

We enjoyed our stay at Dave’s place. We didn’t have any issues finding it and the options for parking were nice and level. And we were pleasantly surprised by having decent cell service (after hardly any coverage driving through Vermont all day). Likewise, we met Dave and he was very welcoming. We’d look to stay again if we’re in the area.

Dave’s campsite was a good choice for us. Easy in and out with our 20’ travel trailer. 30 amp hookup and he let me fill my fresh water tank .Only required minimal leveling. Some road noise during the day but very minimal during the night. There’s a gas station and convenience store a couple of miles away near the interstate. We enjoyed 2 campfires after busy days at a fair and a couple of nice hikes in the area. Thanks Dave , I enjoyed a good conversation with you.

I loved my stay at Sunnybrook Farm! Dave’s hospitality is amazing—he’s always attentive and makes sure everything is just right. If you enjoy stargazing, this is the perfect spot; the night sky is absolutely beautiful here. Located on a small working farm catering to surrounding varied businesses. Very clean open site alongside one of the barns. Well maintained site with power and water available if required. Best feature is Dave, the provider. Very cordial, well spoken, and willing to do whatever is necessary to make your stay great. Without doubt my favorite spot to stay.

We loved camping on Dave’s land. Besides the views, we were in the side yard beside the beautiful vegetable gardens and barn. Had a solid 30amp service and he allowed us to use his garden hose to fill our tanks we had. We also explored the property, which includes a pond and many species of plants and flowers. We also saw deer on the property and many birds, including yellow finches and hummingbirds(which I love) Our favorite time was at night under the stars with a fire going in the fire-pit that was provided. Dave made it easy to recycle trash as well as a regular can. He provided us with many recommendations for the area, including the Norwich Farmers market, which was fantastic. We would give this Hip Camp a 10/10! We will definitely be visiting again!

It was the perfect spot for my first time camping! Comfortable, safe, and a gorgeous view. I had service incase of emergencies. But i definitely unplugged and enjoyed the site. I'll be back!

Daves land is beautiful and easy to locate! We had a great time hiking into the woods and the ferns and hooking up to electric was easy. He offered us water and went out of his way to be helpful. Would love to come back!

Perfect site for my trip up to St. Johnsbury. Dave was very accommodating and did not mind me arriving after 11pm. It was very easy to find and pull into the spot from the road which was exactly as advertised. Dave was a pleasure to talk to as well. Would definitely stay here again.

I found Dave's place quite idyllic. Serene and peaceful. You're very much in the country, yet conveniences, many activities and numerous historic small towns are nearby. It was great! As well, Dave was an excellent host. Very accommodating. Thank you Dave!

This is a great place for RVs and campers. Absolutely worth the price! The sunset was beautiful and Dave was so sweet and welcoming. I loved getting to chat with other campers while I was there. The site is a little close to the street so you may hear cars passing by. All in all I would stay again.

If you do not have a canopy or overhang, keep swiping. It rained here nonstop but for about 8 hours of 3 days and my tent floor got soaked. The bugs are thumb size and nats abundent because you are surrounded by 3 gardens of veggies and flowers. great that there is an electrical outlet, just super soggy area.

Great place to pull in for the night. Good 5G signal. Town is nearby and there is a store and gas. We went down to the river to swim in the morning. The host was very accommodating.
