Greetings! Welcome to Arrowhead Campground! Arrowhead Campground is roughly 5 acres of land, sitting right in Monument Valley, Utah. Come stay with us to experience one of the most amazing views in the world! You'll get to experience a full 360 degree view of all the towering red sandstone buttes and mesas. This is great for capturing the best views in the area. You'll experience breathtaking sunsets and sunrises right from your campsite. Great for pictures and photoshoots. The campground offers one of the largest shade structures in the area, with durable white picnic tables. We do allow campfires, so there is a fire-pit for that. The campground is only 2 1/2 miles away from the tribal park and 1 1/4 miles from the nearest highway. It's tucked away and secluded from noise and light pollution. The stars at night are bright and shinny, so you can pitch your tent right underneath them. With that said, Arrowhead Campground will be one of the best campgrounds you'll ever stay at. First day of my campsite I start with 2 campsites then I built 1 more campsite. I then made fire pit an after that I built an outhouse its a restroom so of the guest don't know what an outhouse is we tell them it doesn't take no water to flush. After that I built a wooden fence around the whole campsite from horses a cows get into our property. So that how I started a campsite. Now our guests love our campsite a some of them came back an we have a short hiking trail to the rims to overlook the whole valleys its beautiful to take pictures from there.

Guest can request Navajo Taco Dinner with Navajo Tea for extra cost to enlighten their stay here in Beautiful Monument Valley. Guest can bring pets as well. We are pet friendly and have one well behaved dogs name spike and diamond. Also we rv size will be 25 ft long .. 30 ft. Long is going to button out on the cattle guard. We don't have hookup.

We are a husband-and-wife team that purchased raw land in 2020 and have been building Glamping Canyonlands ever since. We privately own and operate a sustainable off grid property. We proudly run our business off solar power. We have a recycling and compost program along with happy pasture raised chickens and free range kittens. We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We use simple, clean, natural cleaning products. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We have a mix of different unique units so there is something for everyone. 3 bell tents, 1 stargazing lotus tent, 1 safari tent, cedar pod, moon stargazing barrel, solar powered casita and an unfurnished high rise tent. We have 22 acres and we are currently using around 5 acres. We like to space out our units so there is privacy at every units.
We have a communal kitchen that is equipped to make some gourmet meals. Flat top grill, BBQ Box, pizza oven and a stove.
Communal modern bathrooms with hand towels and bath supplies are available.
Sauna is available to our guests along with coffee and breakfast delivery.
Late check-ins are available.
Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park (the hikers paradise park!)
Our land borders Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands and State Trust Lands which means you have a panoramic view of the desert landscape and dark skies.
We are surrounded by Dark Sky National Parks, State Park, Monuments and communities. Because of this, light population is almost non-existent.
We built this place to be an escape or a place to unwind from our busy and loud daily lives. Embrace the break from the daily grind and find space here on the open desert.
We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning.

Indian Canyon Ranch is a rugged, isolated, off grid property which focuses on enjoying the outdoor beauty of our little corner of the spectacular American South West.
Please be advised, that during heavy rain four-wheel drive may be necessary but in all cases low clearance vehicles are not ideal on the last section of road but if you arrive before dark and go slow any vehicle can make it. If you arrive after dark the last bit of road looks more challenging than it actually is due to shadows on the surface caused by the head lights. Units are not heated. Please plan to show up before dark for the best experience and ease of finding the location.
Indian Canyon Ranch is proud to be an independent, off grid property with limited solar power and water available. There are no RV hook ups available but there is limited solar power in the rental units and in the communal area but not in the primitive campsites. Campsites are primitive camping only. Showers in the main communal area are solar powered and only hot with the sun and for an hour or so after sunset
Joe purchased this property in 2008. At that time, it was 8 acres, and it is now at 20 acres continuous property. The ranch is situated 2 miles off the highway down a bumpy dirt road on the edge of the national forest, this gives you a feeling of being in the wilderness. The south and east sides are boarded by canyons and ruins. All other private properties in the area are 10 acres or more so are well spread out and sparsely populated.
All the structures on site were brought here piece by piece and were salvaged from construction projects in Yosemite and Grand Canyon national parks. Water is manually hauled in and the power in the kitchen area is solar generated so please be conscious of water and power use.

Camp on this private estate that was founded in the 1890's by gold and oil prospectors and where John Wayne later crossed the river in several western movies! The night skies are unbeatable as is the quiet solitude that is sadly disappearing in other areas. Mexican Hat Rock and this portion of the San Juan River are accessible only through this estate that is open for your enjoyment, however, if you wish to camp we now ask for a small fee so we can keep it clean, maintain roads and continue our conservation efforts so all can enjoy it forever! Portable toilets are required!!! And please pick up after yourself, dogs and horses. Pack it in, pack it out. Respect your fellow campers and stay on obvious trails and roads, do know that part of this property is marked as 'No Trespassing', please respect signage. No fee is required for day trips to 'The Hat'.

Your private Bathhouse offers two sinks, two showers, two toilets, an outdoor shower and an outdoor sink for your dishes. The Orchard, with its young fruit trees and wildflowers, is your private garden.
The Property
You'll have access to roam much of this 38 acre property which includes a hay farm, cliffside and clifftop trail and a section of McElmo Creek. We just ask that folks stay away from the private residence on site, which is well-marked.
We love pets and kids but due to the Wildlife with a capital W (and the occasional skunk) with whom we share this land we must limit our guests to humans ages 8 and up.
Southwest Colorado is a land of extremes. We get hot, cold and everything in between. The tents are canvas so we offer electric blankets and small space heaters for colder days, and fans for the warmer days. And in advance, we apologize for the high cleaning fee. When you're here you'll understand why with the large showerhouse and all its windows, the large canvas tents and big decks, etc.

We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We use simple, clean, natural cleaning products. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We work with locals to bring you tours, pastries, breads and hand crafted souvenirs for you to remember your trip.
We have a mix of different unique units so there is something for everyone. 3 bell tents, 1 stargazing lotus tent, 1 safari tent, cedar pod, moon stargazing barrel, solar powered casita and an unfurnished high rise tent. We have 22 acres and we are currently using around 5 acres. We like to space out our units so there is privacy at every units.
We have a communal kitchen that is equipped to make some gourmet meals. Flat top grill, BBQ Box, pizza oven and a stove.
Communal modern bathrooms with hand towels and bath supplies are available.
Sauna is available to our guests along with coffee and breakfast delivery.
Late check-ins are available.
Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park (the hikers paradise park!)
Our land borders Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands and State Trust Lands which means you have a panoramic view of the desert landscape and dark skies.
We are surrounded by Dark Sky National Parks, State Park, Monuments and communities. Because of this, light population is almost non-existent.
We built this place to be an escape or a place to unwind from our busy and loud daily lives. Embrace the break from the daily grind and find space here on the open desert.
We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning.

Indian Canyon Ranch is a rugged, isolated, off grid property which focuses on enjoying the outdoor beauty of our little corner of the spectacular American South West.
Please be advised, that during heavy rain four-wheel drive may be necessary but in all cases low clearance vehicles are not ideal on the last section of road but if you arrive before dark and go slow any vehicle can make it. If you arrive after dark the last bit of road looks more challenging than it actually is due to shadows on the surface caused by the head lights. Units are not heated. Please plan to show up before dark for the best experience and ease of finding the location.
Indian Canyon Ranch is proud to be an independent, off grid property with limited solar power and water available. There are no RV hook ups available but there is limited solar power in the rental units and in the communal area but not in the primitive campsites. Campsites are primitive camping only. Showers in the main communal area are solar powered and only hot with the sun and for an hour or so after sunset
Joe purchased this property in 2008. At that time, it was 8 acres, and it is now at 20 acres continuous property. The ranch is situated 2 miles off the highway down a bumpy dirt road on the edge of the national forest, this gives you a feeling of being in the wilderness. The south and east sides are boarded by canyons and ruins. All other private properties in the area are 10 acres or more so are well spread out and sparsely populated.
All the structures on site were brought here piece by piece and were salvaged from construction projects in Yosemite and Grand Canyon national parks. Water is manually hauled in and the power in the kitchen area is solar generated so please be conscious of water and power use.

Portable toilets are required!!! And please pick up after yourself, dogs and horses. Pack it in, pack it out. Respect your fellow campers and stay on obvious trails and roads, do know that part of this property is marked as 'No Trespassing', please respect signage. The Orchard, with its young fruit trees and wildflowers, is your private garden.
The Property
You'll have access to roam much of this 38 acre property which includes a hay farm, cliffside and clifftop trail and a section of McElmo Creek. We just ask that folks stay away from the private residence on site, which is well-marked.
We love pets and kids but due to the Wildlife with a capital W (and the occasional skunk) with whom we share this land we must limit our guests to humans ages 8 and up.
Southwest Colorado is a land of extremes. We get hot, cold and everything in between. The tents are canvas so we offer electric blankets and small space heaters for colder days, and fans for the warmer days. And in advance, we apologize for the high cleaning fee. When you're here you'll understand why with the large showerhouse and all its windows, the large canvas tents and big decks, etc.

It doesn’t take long after pulling off onto the road that leads to Kelly Place to notice that you are now on sacred grounds. We only spent 2 nights there, but that was enough to get the understanding that this was a place of uniquenesses that held a certain amount of powers. I’m yet uncertain how long it might take to come to grips with it what’s held there, but I’m very grateful for the time allotted and will soon return for a deeper connection. Great campsite with beautiful views! I stayed in mid November and had the whole place to myself. Site 4 was great. Site 5 would’ve also been a good choice. I passed by some of the other Hipcamps in the area and thought the sites at Arrowhead weren’t as on top of each other as the other ones. The outhouse was simple but very clean and was all you need. I would definitely stay here again!

I love this campsite! This is my second time here! I will be coming back again! Brian is awesome is very hospitable! His has firewood for sell. You’re 2 minutes from the entrance to the park. The campsite is always clean. Clean out house and showers. I will be back for sure. If you’re looking for tent camping this is the spot! Highly recommend and great veiws! There are neighbor dogs that are too cute! You can bring your dog too! I saw the northern lights my last night there!
