Weekend Trip to Camp away from home

It is a beautiful peaceful location in an exquisite valley off the beaten path. I was lucky to find it. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this site. The cows are quite welcoming! the site is beautifully prepared, water and electricity was a luxury. The bathrooms are clean and large. Plenty of space and close to the park but away from the feel of tourists.

Weekend Trip to Indian Canyon Ranch

Staying at Joe's ranch was delightful. Everything is well thought out and organized, especially the central group area with facilities for cooking, cleaning up, and having a fire. We had our pickup topper so did not stay in one of the on-site trailers (or buses). Given the general level of attention to detail, I would expect them to be comfortable and well maintained. If our dogs were writing this review, they would say that they never wanted to leave. Playing with the resident dogs and running around off-leash was a highlight of the trip for them.

Absolutely loved it. Magical peaceful setting. Can’t wait to go back. The sauna was icing on the cake. Loved the morning coffee delivery.

2 nights at Zion Family Ranch Campground and RV

This campground was stellar! Very unique in that this is a big space but there are only a few RV spots (although they're close together). It was a quiet time at the campground so we felt like we had our own slice of heaven. The watercraft that was available for use was so nice. Also the tree swing! I felt having safe having my kids run around to explore because it was all contained and we were able to view the whole campground from our spot. The only thing that was annoying was the remodel of the bathroom that was happening during our stay. The cutting of the tile was loud. But we got through it. Overall I loved this place!

1 night at Wildland Gardens

Loved staying with Carrie Ann and Mike! The tent was spacious and clean and extremely warm. The bed was comfortable. My partner and I arrived late and Carrie Ann accommodated us and made everything was working and we were comfortable. 5 stars all around.

2 nights at Wildland Gardens

Serene and beautiful space, with great platform tents and a comfy bed. Showers got nice and hot, so everything you expect to work, worked. Carrie and Michael were awesome, the drive from SLC was straightforward, and the local Flying U store and kitchen served awesome food (that breakfast Sammie was amazing as was the burger). My six month old pup got to be off leash and she met the sweetest goats in the world. If you want a bit off grid but still accessible to shops and food, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Danny is absolutely a 5-star Host! I enjoyed chatting about our common outdoor interests, and he made my stay as a single traveller feel safe and welcoming. The teepee environment is incredibly memorable and I hope to return one day.

We camped in our Class B van with our corgi. Lynn was so nice and we chatted with her for a while and learned about the place and all she was doing. She was very helpful and we felt right at home. We had a great night's sleep and Lynn made us coffee and tea in the morning and gave us eggs for our trip down to Moab.

Great place! Had it to myself while doing a Southern Utah road trip. Views are great, peaceful spot, easy to get to from the highway. Porta potty on site. Cool to see the bison on the way in.

Erik and Keshia have created a wonderfully personalized and comfortable experience. The yurt was perfectly appointed, as well as the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. The wood sauna and fresh chicken eggs (as well as entertaining chickens) made an already perfect experience even better. Incredible night and day skies/vistas, proximity to Canyonlands NP, and a perfect yurt camping experience already have me wanting to return.

The property is a short 6 mile drive from the quaint town of Torrey, host of the annual Fort Desolation Festival and 15 miles by car from Capitol Reef National Park. Our location provides RV travelers with an ideal base camp for exploring the natural wonders of this region of Southern Utah and the majestic Boulder Mountain. The property consists of mostly pasture land, desert sage, pinyon pine trees and panoramic mountain views. The ranch is surrounded by some of the most amazing scenery anywhere and endless outdoor opportunities! We have a single (self check-in) RV/trailer/van parking area complete with water, power, sewer, WiFi and picnic table. All guests MUST have their own bathroom, clean up after pets and pack out any trash. We are unable to accommodate tent or car camping anywhere on the property unless you are with a group that has a trailer or RV equipped with a bathroom available for use during your stay and no open wood burning fires are permitted at this time. Max trailer length is 28'. Max RV length is 35'. Class A motor homes are not recommended. Livestock enjoy the adjacent pastures during Summer and Fall months typically (June-September). The RV site is available seasonally from May - October.
