This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)!
Guests are required to communicate estimated time of arrival well in advance. When arriving, make sure to meet Aaron or a designate at the red gate before entering further into the property. If tent camping, please do not bring glass containers, also you must pack out all garbage and waste. The property borders a small creek and has abundant trees, and wildlife. Beautiful views from every vantage with a high field on one half of the property and a low bottom land near the creek where there are many options for a relaxing, private stay. Chose big sky or a more secluded spot. Incredible wildflowers on display in the spring. The property is not bordered by close neighbors or dense housing, just more land so sunsets and rises are wonderful and open. Low ambient light pollution at night means the stars are very bright (and so are the fireflies)!
Guests are required to communicate estimated time of arrival well in advance. When arriving, make sure to meet Aaron or a designate at the red gate before entering further into the property. If tent camping, please do not bring glass containers, also you must pack out all garbage and waste. Inquire ahead of time to see if firewood is available to be gathered on site, or if you will need to bring your own. No uninvited guests without 24 hour prior approval, and additional guest fees paid. Also please no more than one dog per site.

Great primitive spot with access to the river. Is not far from Smithville, Buescher State Park and Bastrop State Park.
There was a paddle boat at the river entrance, but we didn’t try it or entering the river from that spot. A water spigot is onsite though we didn’t need it. We did not see the host (Paige) in person but she was helpful when we called her as we were confused about where we were allowed to camp and she was kind enough to allow us to camp near the river in a wooded section that didn’t seem to be an official spot. Just be aware there is 1, maybe 2 official(?) spots directly on the river. The RV sites and glamping tent are at an elevation higher than the river spots. We have a small offroad camper and camped at the river spots and there was plenty of room for others and still have space between.
We had a relaxing time and it was quite picturesque. We would come back again and we appreciate that these landowners are willing to share their property with the public.

Weekend Trip to Matt B.’s Land Treehouse!!
This trip was mega cool. The tree house was super comfortable. To everyone considering there I have a message: there is a property full size bed in the tree house. The photos make it look like it's a tiny sofa and you can't sleep on it, but in reality it is a proper bed big enough for two people. Over all I would give this place 5 out of 4 stars.

My wife and I had an amazing time at The Magnolia. Jennifer and her husband were super friendly and treated us with kindness. They greeted us and gave us a short intro.
The set up in the tent house was full of thought and essentials. Flashlights, towels, matches, and first aid kit. They also had some outdoor games. Along with coffee cups and a French press! ☕️
We also bought some eggs and they were DELICIOUS! The eggs are a must! It completes the experience. 🍳
Our dog had an amazing time outdoors and really enjoyed his time out there! 🐾
I would recommend if it’s your first time glamming!

Weekend Trip to Colorado RiverBend Retreat #CRBR
I brought my wife here for Valentine’s Day, and we both had an amazing time. The property where the campsite was, was beautiful and serene. It was just the type of environment that we needed to ground ourselves and find some peace. We stayed at Terrys camper site and words can’t described how comfortable, clean, and cozy the place was. The restrooms were very clean and taken care of. This was the best experience I’ve had camping/glamping. This was my wife’s first time going camping, since she’s a city girl, I was somewhat worried on the experience, but it’s safe to say that I won her over to the outdoor life. Thank you Bridget for hosting us. We will be back!

Eden East feels secluded and remote despite being walking distance from town - the perfect mix. Sonya and David were super friendly and helpful. Our toddler loved looking at the chickens and had space to run around. A very easy drive to Bastrop State Park for hiking. The farm fresh eggs were delicious and a real treat, and there’s a whole farm stand on weds and saturdays. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great property right on the Colorado River. We stayed at the RV site which was spacious, wooded with a steel fire pit. The host Bridget was there to meet all our needs and was very accommodating! And, for a primitive site, they have a great bathroom and shower with hot running water!

My friends and I had a great time camping on Matt’s land. The pizza oven was a highlight and definitely a must when staying here. We also really enjoyed using the kayaks—they were a great way to spend time on the river. The water level was a bit low, but it was still doable. Overall, a fun and memorable place to camp.
