This RV spot offers the perfect blend of proximity to Austin's vibrant attractions, nature and the comfort of a cozy neighborhood setting. Situated on the side of my house, the site is 95' long. 38' of which is along my house. The width between the house and fence is 18 feet. This should fit any RV with 2 slides and awning being open.
The entire lot is fenced in, granting guests(and pets) full use of the pool and yard. Enjoy privacy with no neighbors in the back and an 8' side fence where your RV will be parked. The lot is a city sized lot, less than 1/5 acre, but HipCamp won't let me put in less than 1 acre.
Pictures show my white/red retro RV as well as other RV's and how they have fit with and without my RV. Backing in is best for trailers - motorhomes/vans can go forward or back in. You may find maneuvering backwards a bit challenging due to the angle from the street through the front gate and my house overhang. It can be done...it just may take a village! :o)
There's plenty of room to tandem park a towed vehicle in front of your RV(fenced in too!), and both 50amp and 30amp electric hookups are located on the back side of my house near the water hookup. (NOTE: Hipcamp will not let me notate in the fields that I have a 50amp AND a 30amp, thus I have 2 sites listed. I have had 2 RV guests stay at same time, but will not book that unless I get the ok from all parties.) LIVE sewer hookup isn't available because my clean-out is in the front of the house. Dumping can be done on the way in/out or with a portable tank..

Camp in the city! We're 2 miles from the middle of downtown Austin but have been pretending we're not for a long time. Do the city but retreat to a little oasis nestled under a giant Live Oak tree. We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA !

This RV spot offers the perfect blend of proximity to Austin's vibrant attractions, nature and the comfort of a cozy neighborhood setting. Situated on the side of my house, the site is 95' long. 38' of which is along my house. The width between the house and fence is 18 feet. This should fit any RV with 2 slides and awning being open.
The entire lot is fenced in, granting guests(and pets) full use of the pool and yard. Enjoy privacy with no neighbors in the back and an 8' side fence where your RV will be parked. The lot is a city sized lot, less than 1/5 acre, but HipCamp won't let me put in less than 1 acre.
Pictures show my white/red retro RV as well as other RV's and how they have fit with and without my RV. Backing in is best for trailers - motorhomes/vans can go forward or back in. You may find maneuvering backwards a bit challenging due to the angle from the street through the front gate and my house overhang. It can be done...it just may take a village! :o)
There's plenty of room to tandem park a towed vehicle in front of your RV(fenced in too!), and both 50amp and 30amp electric hookups are located on the back side of my house near the water hookup. (NOTE: Hipcamp will not let me notate in the fields that I have a 50amp AND a 30amp, thus I have 2 sites listed. I have had 2 RV guests stay at same time, but will not book that unless I get the ok from all parties.) LIVE sewer hookup isn't available because my clean-out is in the front of the house. Dumping can be done on the way in/out or with a portable tank..

We are a 2 acre community on a secret and secluded little street 5 miles due South of the capitol of TX and even closer (2.5) to the very hip SoCo area (Continental Club, Jo's Coffee, Guero's Taco Bar, El Mercado and lots more). I have 3 cats, 11 chickens, 2 little donkeys and sweet 4 mini goats here at my little and funky 'farmette' right on Williamson Creek (sometimes flowing and not really swimmable) and next to a huge wooded greenbelt with a quiet and unused nature trail. This is not a KOA or a state park. This is a home hostel/campground. It's kind of rustic and we like it that way. You may see a roach, ant or cricket and you may also see a deer, fox or coyote. We are busy and not always able to visit for long. Lots of remodeling and flood related cleanup chaos here but also lots of pretty and secluded nature. Short walk to bus stop and historic Sagebrush HonkyTonk and Austin Bergstrom Airport is 9 easy highway miles away. Rustic outdoor shower/kitchen/privy. BYOTent. No wild or excessive partying here please and please remember: no smoking. WE NOW HAVE A COVERED PING-PONG PLAYING AREA !

4 dispersed tent campsites are located on a large gravel bar facing a beautiful private waterfall. Camping is pack-in, pack-out from the parking lot (approx. 50yds). No overlanding rigs, pop-ups, RVs or rooftop car camping. Vehicles are not allowed at campsites. No pets.
When booking, select any of the 4 sites. Sites are first come, first serve.
For groups with less than 6 people (including children) please reserve only ONE site.
Campsite includes: use of kayaks and paddleboards, unlimited river access, picnic table, semi-private communal outdoor shower with hot and cold water and a clean outdoor port-a-potty that is regularly sanitized.
No composting and/or personal toilets allowed. Please only use the restroom in the portalet provided.
*Feel free to BYO wagon to haul gear to site!
🔌Electricity is available from dusk to dawn. A 50ft-100ft extension cord is required for electrical access to your site from dusk to dawn (extension cords not provided).
*Portable small generators/ Power banks are recommended for electricity at site during the day.
**No tent A/C’s or heaters**
(small fans recommended).
*Canopy is recommended for additional shade at site.
*Tubes/floats are recommended for below the dam. (floats/tubes NOT provided).
*Campfires are allowed in designated fire rings ONLY. Campers are responsible for monitoring/extinguishing fires. Do not cut any trees/limbs on property.
(Firewood bundles available).
*Metal grate is recommended for cooking on fire ring.
*Climbing on the dam structure is strictly prohibited.
*ALL campers/guests on the property must arrive BEFORE dark to check-in, sign a Release of Liability Waiver AND pick-up wristband.
*All children ages 6+ MUST be included in your reservation under "Children."
*Day passes are for additional guests/friends visiting for the day. $25 person/day. Includes kayak and paddleboard use. Please add them to your reservation under "Extras." Limit 2 per site.
-Total headcount of adults, children AND day passes on property has to match your reservation.
**No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk** **Children must be supervised at all times** Lifejackets for all ages are available for use. **NO PETS** **NO GLASS**

This farm was a surprise gem. It’s rough around the edges, but turned out to be a perfect place for my son’s 9th birthday party. We had 6 kids and 6 dads, and we fit perfect in the mother tree camp spot. My son loved the horses. Not sure if I have the names right, but their favorites were fluffernut and brownie. Makayla was a very gracious host. We were able to hold a pizza making birthday party at the pavilion and play some games. We caught about 4 fish, rode in their kayak, and skipped rocks. It was really perfect.

Once again we had an unforgettable camping trip at the best spot you can find. The wonderful hosts always provide the best place to unwind and have a great time. I would strongly recommend this place for your camping or glamping trip.

The most beautiful, cozy hobbiton of a homestead! Fantastic for one or a whole crew. There’s a flush toilet, shower, and sink, all set up in a creative outdoor way. James was a very friendly and respectful host. Close enough to town, far enough to feel tucked away.

We had a great time at this campground! It was a cozy place and the hosts were very hospitable. The compost restrooms were rustic but clean. There was pretty good shade in the full hookup site that we stayed at. They had scavenger hunts for the kids and provided maps for hiking and other things nearby. We were told to go to fisherman’s park for swimming but when we got there, the water was too low to swim. We ended up going to north bastrop lake which was a great place to swim but it is about 30 min drive from the campsite.

We camped at the Pasture Mingle spot and thoroughly enjoyed watching the horses, ponies, and Mr. Sheep. The Mother Tree is definitely the spot at Makayla's though and will try for that one when we return. Be aware that other than the Mother Tree site, the sites are wide open with no trees. The river was a very nice recpite from the hotter than usual weekend. It's deep enough for sitting in with some spots thigh or waist deep. We particularly enjoyed the swing hanging on a low limb over the water. A bonus here is having a sink to do dishes in and a flush potty. A light inside would be nice though. The property is a little disheveled and the club house in need of some TLC but absolutely worth the visit. Makayla is friendly and easy going, her animals are very nice and pleasant to interact with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will revisit.

What a great time we had camping at happy horse, Hollis and Beaux went above and beyond to make our stay fun and relaxing. The property was in a great spot! The nearby McKinney roughs nature area was a gem we weren’t aware of but had a great time exploring. I would absolutely recommend this property for your camping getaway.

P2 was the perfect location for us to stay. It was 25-30 minutes from Round Rock, TX where our niece was getting married. We were able to come and go as we needed to. The San Gabriel River was very close and some of the other campers walked down to swim. We did not, but we did visit nearby Hutto and Georgetown. There was a fundraiser happening two miles from P2 Farm where they had a crawfish boil and tamales! We had a wonderful time!

Camping overnight at Happy Horse was so peaceful. They are very friendly and took great care of us. We really appreciated the electrical and water hookups being right next to our site with the bathrooms and shower not much further away. The history of the place is interesting too so make sure you ask for a tour - plus there’s a scavenger hunt we will have to do when we come back. A nice home away from home in some gorgeous surroundings to take in a golden sunset through the trees.

My family of four had a great time! 10 & 6 year olds really enjoyed biking around the property, the birds were so lively and fun to spot. Plenty of shade in our campsite #1 and the owners are so hospitable and fun! Thanks Hollis and Bo! Oh and can't forget Mike the ancient horse. 😉

Multiple spots to choose, each with their own ambiance. Being by the babbling brook and the sound of the water falling over the dam was very tranquil. Electricity and flat grassy areas to pitch our tent was a big plus especially as I get my son gradually used to this whole camping thing:):)
