Site 2 - Austonia RV
Very clean and quiet RV park. Wifi performance was great. Staff was extra nice and worked with me on a late arrival.
Legit 20 minutes to downtown Austin (non-rush hours).
Not a typical Hipcamp location, but perfect for my needs and was accurately portrayed in their description.

Great for COTA Events!
Great location for anyone attending a motorsports event (or other) at Circuit of the Americas (Austin). Everything is top notch with plenty of room for pull through trucks and RV trailers. Services were a good match for our needs including a reliable Wifi network.

Site 5 - Austonia RV
I was skeptical, but it really is only 20 minutes from downtown Austin with regular traffic. Spaces are nice, level, spacious and very clean. Fairly strict checkout schedule, which is understandable. May be slow to respond to Hipcamp messages after 5PM (may need to wait until the next day.) Either way would 100% recommend; feels like a professionally managed RV facility, with friendly staff, at a great price.

Great location to Austin. Campground is growing and sites are level and big. We lucked out and they had an opening on our way through Austin. Staff is amazing and so helpful. Will def. recommend to our fellow RVers.

Great location. Friendly people.
This is a very nice RV park. Very long cement pads and patio for every spot. The office staff is exceptionally nice. It’s very convenient to get into Austin.

Site 1 - Austonia RV
Was happy to get my last minute reservation accepted quickly and we enjoyed our stay while we were here visitng Austin. The campsite itself with small maybe about 8 to 10 other RVs, which made it nice and quite. We felt safe and secure as well, would recommend.

Wide open Texas space.
Although h we didn’t meet Michael until we were heading out he took time for a brief chat. He’s got big plans for this 50 acre property. Definitely worth checking it out. Will be nice when the firepit is going under the canopy constructed up top.

Easy and quiet weekend
Michael clearly communicated info about our site before we finalized our booking and it was great for our purposes. He also let us know in advance which side the hookups were on, which was helpful. The site was level and the place was really quiet so we slept great and had a good stay. Super easy to get to and convenient to Austin - we definitely recommend it!

Austin - a stone's throw away
Prior to our arrival, we couldn't have been treated more warmly welcomed...owner Mike happened to be on site during our arrival, and was as down-to-earth as we'd read in reviews. We'll definitely be staying at Austonia more frequently, and will consider making it our homebase once their improvements are complete!

Quick getaway
Love big holiday family gatherings, but almost always need a little vacation afterward.
Austonia is only ~15 min from home but felt like a world away. It was great to get a little off the grid for a night with my wife and the pups.
Despite being close to the highway, Austonia feels like a little haven. The hosts were kind, communicative, and we had no issues at all with directions or finding the place. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Keep Austin Weird, Stay Here.
We typed in the address to Google Maps and arrived with no issues. Austonia is in the perfect location for wanting to explore the city, while also feeling secluded.
When we arrived we were greeted by Nate. Nate works at Austonia and is helping develop and build the property. We then hopped into a 4x4 vehicle with Josie and got a full tour of the grounds. Josie lives here full time in her Tiny Home. The creators of Austonia have big plans for this place! We loved listening to their ideas and envisioning the future with them. Their passion for this place was truly inspiring.
Austonia organizes community gatherings about once a month. We were lucky enough to visit during one. Everyone who lives here gathered in their community space, which has been designed and built by the residents. We played horseshoes and darts while a father and son organized a paintball match in the dark. We drank beers and cooked dinner together while the kids played on the tire swing. We had so much fun getting to know the community of Austonia.
As of now Austonia has hookups but does not offer a public toilet/shower. They plan on changing this in the future but for now, I would only recommend this property if you have a self contained rig.
Staying here is the ideal way to visit Austin. We can’t wait to stay here again!
