Paisano Azul Ranch is on 30 acres located by Terlingua Creek. The property is just minutes from the Terlingua Ghost Town and a short 3 mile drive to the Big Bend National park. Come pitch your tent or park your camper amid the peaceful desert hillside with views of plateaus that lead to the Chisos Mountains in Big Bend National Park. There is a fire pit on site for you to toast marshmallows or cozy up near, and you can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table provided at each site. The picnic tables are placed beneath shade sails. There are two nice and new desert tan flushing Porta-Potties on-site, as well as showers for guests to use. These come in handy after a long day hiking. We hope you'll enjoy the beautiful open sky sunsets, sunrises, and stargazing as much as we do. We are located just 3 miles from the entrance to Big Bend National Park. There are plenty of opportunities to get out and explore - you can hike, bike, canoe camp; kayak, off-road, swim, go horseback riding, visit hot springs, as well as visit restaurants, galleries, and listen to great music in Terlingua. There is something for everyone to feel free to bring the whole family. DIRECTIONS: Once you are on Road Runner Circle, go past the house on the left with the Christmas lights on. Please continue down the road and follow the road around the curve to the left. The campsites will be on the left and side behind the rock walls. The campsite number that is booked is the campsite you will stay in. Additional details to note: - We now have an above ground pool to keep cool in during the summer! Covered with a shade sail the water stays nice and chilly. ($10 fee/person) - You can stay connected if you'd like to, as cell reception and wifi are both available by the showers. Feel free to unplug during your stay though. - Seeing other campers on your trip at the campsite is very standard, as the sites are far enough apart to feel like they are yours, but they are not private. - Non potable water is provided on-site. The showers and non potable water is located approximately 1/4 mile from campsites 1-7. -We have friendly, quirky miniature goats named Clyde and Stella to visit while up at the showers. Focusing on creating a strong community, social gatherings, including pot luck and fundraisers, and celebrating music, Willie Nelson and all things middle fingered. As we tell everyone, no need to wave with all your offensive fingers when it only takes 1 finger to say "I Love You!" We have a lot of fun here and have become a real social spot in this incredible community. When staying here you can expect to meet other travelers and locals alike. If you play music, all the better, as music usually fills the air here. From the house piano to any number of friends who stop by just to jam for a while. We are 21 and up, due to having a bar (BYOB) and just want adults to feel comfortable being adults . So bring an instrument, a sense of humor and a middle finger and come experience the magic that is Terlingua, Texas.

Beautiful land in the Chihuahua desert north of the Christmas mountains and south of the famous 9 point Mesa. Just north of Mexico and 30 min from Big Bend National park and The Terlingua ghostown . West Texas. Off grid small house running on solar power and rain water catchment. Very cozy. Plenty of land for camping also, discuss with Jim for pricing, if interested. Mr. Keaveny built the house himself over a 10 year period. Very private, although Mr. Keaveny lives on the property in his Jayco most of the time, and sometimes a camping site is rented ----however always giving the house lots of space. Great place for long term rental, see discounts.

We had such a great stay at Paisano Azul Ranch! The property was beautiful and relaxing, with an awesome pool that made the trip extra fun. The outdoor showers were a highlight—super refreshing with nice warm water. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating, and even gave us some excellent local recommendations that made our trip even better. Everything about the stay felt welcoming and easy. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our spot! Jason was very accommodating and responsive to anything we needed. I know phone service is a challenge out there so that may be the reason for negative reviews on returning messages. But we had a great time! The property was clean and the pool was an awesome addition. Our kids loved the goats too! I will be coming back for sure!

Level spots, friendly people, nice and quiet at night. Wifi is not password protected which made working for a challenge (FYI if you work remote). Dan was very nice and we could walk to grab a bite or a drink. We were also close enough to get a few hikes in at both parks.

If you’re trying to disconnect from the city, this is THE SPOT. Unrivaled location: walking distance to Venga (coffee, breakfast, lunch, pretty hip, a teenie taste of city ); High Sierra Restaurant (restaurant & bar vib); 1-minute drive to Terilingua Ghost Town (a literal ghost town but with more food, dessert, souvenirs, but that’s what we loved about it); dead center between Big Bend Natty Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park (about 15 minutes either way). Dan and Harlan will take great care of you! Patient and hard-working. RV pads are still being worked on but full hook-ups are there. We’ll definitely be coming back for round 2.

We stayed at site number #21. The other campers were very friendly and helpful as this was our first time in an RV and they gave us some good pointers!! The site had a beautiful view of the mountains and the stars at night!! ✨️😍🌄✨️ It was windy when we stayed, but very peaceful and quiet! It was the perfect spot to explore all that the ghost town had to offer and a short drive to Big Bend! We look forward to making more memories in our new camper!

I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this site, but man was I pleasantly surprised! Sites were plenty big, full hookups, and the location was prime. Right next door to some of my favorite places. We walked to Starlight, had coffee at Venga. All a stone’s throw away. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanks to Daniel’s flexibility we stayed in site 19 with good views of the desert & sunsets. It’s a great location to access both Big Bend NP & SP plus the extra bonus of being close to Terlingua Ghost Town w its diverse & eclectic community. All hookups worked perfectly. We were here 5 days & felt like our own little piece of heaven.
