Easy to find— campsite sign had fallen down so it took a sec to find my site. Nice views and I had cell phone service (Verizon). Very exposed so be prepared to see all the other people around you, not just here but around the valley. 30 minutes from Terlingua Study Butte, about an hour to Panther Junction.

Great spot with amazing views! There was a fire pit, a little charcoal stove and a foldout table which was great! Directions were very clear and I would definitely recommend!

Great spot when park is full. Great price I don’t feel like my eyes are being poked like some other near by camps. After all you are renting a small piece to call home for the night. Little bit of the drive but it’s worth it for a little bit more privacy and not so close to fellow campers.

The overall spot was amazing. Truly beautiful- we loved being so secluded!
It is very tough to find it. There are two wooden signs, but no wording. We second guessed if we were in the right space a few times. I would suggest putting an actual sign depicting the name.
Also beware that the space is up on other apps as well. We were lucky we were already in the spot, as another group had booked it for the same night as well. Rachel was unresponsive- I sent her messages and called several times.

This was the most pleasant and simple experience I have ever had booking a campsite. The camp was nice and quiet with a beautiful view. The ground was level enough for any kind of set up you could want. There was a cute little fire pit but it was too windy to use. If you are booking this site make sure to save the GPS coordinates. You will be in the backcountry without cell service and the property is not well marked. All in all, a wonderful experience and 10/10 site. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Not sure if I found the right camp? I followed the written directions to the GPS location and think I ended up at the right spot but wasn't sure. There was a small piece of wood that used to be a sign, I contacted the host but didn't hear anything back. The site is just a small pull-off next to the road with a small firepit, nothing much going on here but if you need a place to camp while visiting Big Bend National Park or Terlingua this is a good base camp.

Holy heck! This site was INCREDIBLE. Truly, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was beautiful, convenient, and safe. I was solo traveling/car camping and it was ideal for my setup.

Enjoyed my one-night stay at Camp Eldorado! Rachel was the best part - I felt at ease with her communication and knew exactly where to find the camp, despite there being limited service out there. The sunset and sunrise from that spot were beautiful!

Camp Eldorado was absolutely beautiful! We felt very isolated and primitive - which is what we were looking for! Definitely GPS the instructions beforehand because you will lose service! We arrived around sunset (the sunset views were incredible), and it would have been difficult to find the campsite without Rachel's instructions. Rachel was super helpful with her instructions and recommendations for things to do. The road to the campsite is a dirt road, which can get sticky without AWD/4WD if there has been a hard rain/snow-melt.

We arrived late at night and left early, so we never saw the campsite by the light of day. However, the coordinates provided were exact and the stars in the sky were amazing. There was a small washout when you pulled into the campsite, so if you are in a low clearance vehicle you will need to use caution. It was a very secluded spot, which made the stars even brighter. It was also very windy with no real wind break. I would stay again.

Perfect spot for an easy night on the way to Big Bend. Exactly and all that we needed. And easy spot to get to, only about 5-7 minutes off the highway. Clear directions about where to pull in and a clear, flat spot to put our tent.

Nice, secluded site. Pretty views between the mountains, and especially nice for sunrise and sunset. We were all alone, which was great. We had two regular cars (one had pretty low ground clearance) and were able to make it just fine. Make sure to plug in the GPS coordinates before you leave - this was helpful as we lost service after Alpine. Would recommend arriving the first day during daylight if possible, I bet it would be tricky to find in the dark. Happy camping!

Great place for those seeking a primative campground. Nice views of mountains and Rachael was really helpful with accurate directions on how to get to site since i didnt have cell coverage in that area.

Rachel was super easy and awesome to work with. unfortunately we did not end up staying at that exact campsite due to location but the area was amazing and the view was awesome. we had a fun adventure cruising around the area and meeting some cool locals. If you get the chance to stay here definitely make sure the location is in your gps before you lose service! she was helpful and descriptive in helping us find the site (when we had service) but it truly was a great area.
