This is our family farm, though you probably will not see us much. The campsite is located on a corner of the property on Cummins Creek and once you get there you will feel secluded in nature. Matt grew up here swimming, fishing and exploring in this creek...the creek has taught him more about life than anyone ever could. The camp is surrounded by farms and ranches, wineries offering music options (one is dog friendly!). Lake Conroe is 20 minutes to the east.
Amenities include a cowboy pool, courtyard seating and camp fire pit, hot showers, bathrooms (currently port-a-potties), fiber wifi, and a potable water/filling station/wash station.
We are in the customer service business, meaning we make it easy to camp (and celebrate!) with our beautiful 4-season canvas glamp tents and glamp vintage trailers. Just drive up to your tent and get ready to relax. All tents are fully furnished with made beds and critical supplies, and have picnic tables, chairs around the fire rings, firewood, and charcoal grills. Our premier platform tents also have electric, heat, Keurig coffee pots, coffee and more! Vintage trailers have everything you need as well inside and out. Reservations are available on both Hipcamp and Airbnb. We even offer to decorate for you in advance for special celebration occasions.

Quiet natural location away from the busy city. Located on a private access uneven dirt road so a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle is recommended. There is a firepit but please burn inside the cinder blocks areas and keep it under control (not too big). Do not burn when it is windy. There should be wood available near the firepit. If more is needed, please help yourself to the branches on the land. Please make sure to completely put the fire out when done.
There are 6 acres and you are welcome to camp anywhere you like, in the open areas or in the woody areas in the back.
We have a RV barn area that can be used for shade, sitting, eating, relaxing, etc. You can use the tables and chairs. There is also a white water container on the table that you can use for washing.
There is a 32 gallon trash bucket that you can put trash in but make sure lid is closed when you're done to keep animals out.
This site does have limited solar electric power in RV area. To turn on, flip the white switch on the surge strip on the wall behind the microwave. There is no running water so please plan accordingly.
There is currently not a toilet available but I'm planning on building a composting toilet soon. For now, use the natural way and make sure to bury.
For security, there is one camera on the property located near the front entrance and it is mainly for monitoring the front entrance area. There is also another camera near the north side of RV barn for security of storage room and RV.
This site can also be used for long term parking/storing your RV or vehicle but we are not liable for anything that happens. If interested, please contact me or use the app called "Neighbor". The RV barn currently already has a RV inside it so that parking space can't be used. Our long-term plan is to also make the RV available but we would need to install an in ground septic system and electricity first.

We have 10 spacious full hookup RV sites on the front of the property and and several more dedicated tent sites toward the back. We are located on almost 10 wooded acres, and most of our RV spots are shady for the majority of the day.
Schulenburg is centrally located among a whole host of places - we like to think of it as both halfway to everywhere and in the middle of everywhere. We are an easy 1.5 hour drive to San Antonio, Houston, Austin, and New Braunfels, and even closer to Bastrop, Victoria, La Grange, and others. In addition, in our local area, we have a great variety of coffee shops, antique stores, and shopping.

We had an amazing stay at 5D Ranch! The campsite was beautiful, clean, private, and spacious. Easy communication with the host throughout the process. The property has great trails for hiking and a nice pond for fishing with the kids. Being able to use the boats (with life jackets included) was such a nice bonus and made the experience even better. It was a fantastic getaway, and we will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at camp site 6 and had a great time during our stay at the ranch! Beautiful pines that opened up to a field of wild flowers. Short walk to the lake where my boys caught a couple of bass. Julie was very kind during our visit with her horses! Loved our trip, wish I would have asked off work longer so we could stay another day!

Fabulous! Site 22 gave of wooded privacy and a wide open field for sunsets and stargazing, access to restrooms, and a horse to visit. Loved Abba and Quiggly, the ranch dogs. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

It was great, I liked that I only had to pay once for the whole time I was there, no paying extra for fishing or going out on a boat or anything like that, plus good hiking trails and very nice owners that would check in with you every once in awhile when you were at your campsite. It felt like a gated community in a good way, the stars at night were beautiful and the owners provided a map to us when we first arrived, I’d definitely come back again.

Great BIG secluded site! Traveling with kids I have high expectations- it was very safe, quiet, and clean. We loved meeting the home owners (the whole gang) loved hearing the back story on the property- it felt like you were transported back in time! Highly recommend the chicken and horse experience I think a cleaver name for experience would be “ranch hands” for a few hours- kids loved it. The ponds were big and nice- not much fishing but for a 5 & 8 year old learning to bait and fish it was good time! March is perfect weather to attend. We got away for a few hours and went to the center of the town- ladies bring your wallets! Cute little shops ! Lastly- we brought a puppy- the ranch dogs we met were SO patient and kind to our newbie to the world! All around highly recommend this for families!

This is a beautiful, secluded location -- high ratings all around. The host greeted us when we arrived, showed us to our spot, and then left us to enjoy the surroundings! We had everything we needed. Will plan on stopping by this location again!
