We really enjoyed staying here. Lots of firewood for tent camping, bring a camp axe. They are currently working on an outhouse (amongst other amenities) but we really didn't need it, there were many private places. Very relaxing. The rooster wakes you in the morning, which brought back some fond memories. We set up camp close to the road, so WE could hear the occasional truck go by (our choice), but there are definitely other sites further back that are very secluded. He has 5 hookups and water on gravel sites for small to medium sized RV's, or tent camping. It was my first time taking my little girl, so it was just perfect: having the secluded feel but the comfort of being close to "skedaddle" out if needed. An added bonus: he has 4 kids. While I was setting up camp, my kid was exploring with them and getting into the free spirit. Camp area was very safe and the rules were clear/easy to follow. Hopefully, we left no trace and helped clear out a campsite for those after us. There is cedar, so come prepared if you visit during cedar fever season. We will definitely come here again and hope to stay longer. Was told there are some interesting festivals and attractions in the neighboring towns. I enjoyed relaxing by fire and checking out the stars.
