Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Quiet natural location away from the busy city. Located on a private access dirt road so a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle is recommended. There is a firepit but please burn inside the cinder blocks areas and keep it under control (not too big). Do not burn when it is windy. There should be wood available near the firepit. If more is needed, please help yourself to the branches on the land. Please make sure to completely put the fire out when done; there is a water tank near firepit to help you put out/soak the fire. There are 6 acres and you are welcome to camp anywhere you like, in the open areas or in the woody areas at the back. We have a RV barn area that can be used for shade, sitting, eating, relaxing, etc. You can use the tables and chairs. There is also a white water container on the table or the blue 55gal drum that you can use for washing. There are two 32 gallon rubber trash buckets that you can put trash in but make sure lid is closed when you're done to keep animals out. This site does have limited solar electric power in RV area. To use the microwave on the table, make sure to first power on the solar system by pressing the black button on the control box (see photo) on wall behind RV and then turn on the surge strip that microwave is plugged into. There is no running water so please plan accordingly. There is currently not a toilet available but I'm planning on building a composting toilet soon. For now, use the natural way and make sure to bury. For security, there is one camera on the property located near the front entrance and it is mainly for monitoring the front entrance area. There is also another camera near the north side of RV barn mainly for security of storage room and RV; for your privacy, on your book days, I will remotely turn the camera towards front entrance away from firepit and RV area. The RV barn currently already has a RV parked in it Our long-term plan is to also make the RV available, but we would need to install an in-ground septic system and electricity first.Disclaimer: The area is located in nature so there may be debris, holes, etc. There are also all kind of animals like deers, wild pigs, insects, and even snakes. The use of anything on the land is also at your own risk. We will not be liable for anything that happens to you on the land so please be careful.

Daniel was very accommodating and he has a nice little piece of property. Firewood was provided and the area was well maintained. Was a great relaxing spot!

This is a GREAT spot!!! Stayed here with family (8 adults) and dogs (4; different sizes and ages) — Daniel was a wonderful host! Before our trip he sent over a lot of helpful pictures and information. Finding the property was easy with Google maps and we loved being able to choose where to put our tents and cars. The dogs loved exploring the land as much as we did. The fire pit Daniel set up made cooking easy, and having the covered trash bin was a big help. Most of the land is flat and relatively clear - one of the people in our party was able to use his manual active wheelchair to get around. The stars and sky at night were amazing to look at! We were also blessed to be joined by a local kitty for the duration of our stay. We named him “Pocket” - he got along great with our (4) dogs, and with all of the people. He enjoyed pets and sitting on any free lap. If you see “Pocket” be sure to give him some love!

This was a great location to get away for a while. We booked this place for its proximity to the Texas Renaissance Fair and so that we could have the whole place to ourselves. Daniel was very helpful in letting us know how to get the role, what to expect and how to use some of the items they have there. Would definitely recommend the place.

Property was nice. Our dogs loved the freedom they can’t have at a RV resort. It was cozy and quiet. The dirt road was quite sandy but our motorhome made it.
