Quiet natural location away from the busy city. Located on a private access dirt road so a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle is recommended. There is a firepit but please burn inside the cinder blocks areas and keep it under control (not too big). Do not burn when it is windy. There should be wood available near the firepit. If more is needed, please help yourself to the branches on the land. Please make sure to completely put the fire out when done; there is a water tank near firepit to help you put out/soak the fire.
There are 6 acres and you are welcome to camp anywhere you like, in the open areas or in the woody areas at the back.
We have a RV barn area that can be used for shade, sitting, eating, relaxing, etc. You can use the tables and chairs. There is also a white water container on the table or the blue 55gal drum that you can use for washing.
There are two 32 gallon rubber trash buckets that you can put trash in but make sure lid is closed when you're done to keep animals out.
This site does have limited solar electric power in RV area. To use the microwave on the table, make sure to first power on the solar system by pressing the black button on the control box (see photo) on wall behind RV and then turn on the surge strip that microwave is plugged into. There is no running water so please plan accordingly.
There is currently not a toilet available but I'm planning on building a composting toilet soon. For now, use the natural way and make sure to bury.
For security, there is one camera on the property located near the front entrance and it is mainly for monitoring the front entrance area. There is also another camera near the north side of RV barn mainly for security of storage room and RV; for your privacy, on your book days, I will remotely turn the camera towards front entrance away from firepit and RV area.
The RV barn currently already has a RV parked in it Our long-term plan is to also make the RV available, but we would need to install an in-ground septic system and electricity first.

We booked this reservation last minute not knowing what to expect. We were the first ones to book this RV resort through hipcamp. We were overwhelmed with the scenic views as well as all the amenities(including valet trash). Laundry is through a user friendly app. Multiple very clean bathrooms with huge showers. Wifi is excellent through out the entire resort. The staff were very attentive and full of smiles. They are cows that come out to pasture for a tiny bit then disappear. Make sure you stop to use the hot tub! The resort is next to a highway but otherwise it didn't bother us. We stayed comfortably at the XL Pull-Thru site with our 43 ft 5th wheel(firepit and wood provided) Quiet hrs 10-7am(pin quiet) Downtown is eight minutes away. Try the coffee at Mescalito Coffee. Thank you to The Hilltop staff for a wonderful time!
